The full length screened front porch comes furnished with Lowcountry rope hammock. A screened eating porch is located off the kitchen. HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping service are additional costs for monthly stays.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and will be required to pay additional rent. Maximum 1 adult dog, 30 lbs or less. Dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours and must be leashed.

LITCHFIELD BEACH: This primarily residential community has a laidback vibe with a lot to offer, including easy access to miles of pristine beach, creek access via a small public boat launch, lush Lowcountry scenic vistas as well as a few shops and restaurants within walkable distance. Grocery stores, art galleries, prominent golf courses, historic landmarks and more are within close proximity by car.

Great Value and Location

Rental is in a great location between beach and marsh. Litchfield Realestate keeps the place super clean, they’re accommodating, and very helpful. This is a wonderful “Old Litchfield Beach” property that has had nice upgrades which made the stay very pleasant (counter tops, etc). As with all older houses, it has had its wear which we found charming. I was concerned about earlier comments about carpet and the recent hurricane but found everything to be satisfactory. We definitely recommend this property.

Litchfield Beach is easily among the prettiest beaches in South Carolina. Bounded by low lying sand dunes and the blue-green ocean, the beach is characteristically wide with soft white sand and spans 7 miles from end to end.

Summertime can get busy on Litchfield Beach, but families love rekindling friendships made from past stays as they book year after year in the same home within this small, beachside community. Grocery and beach stores, popular dining venues, and local eclectic shops are conveniently close by.

While primarily residential, Litchfield Inn is located on the north end of this beach where guests can enjoy oceanfront dining within easy and safe walking distance. Indulge at least once during your vacation and choose between the relaxed outdoor atmosphere of Austin’s Cabana Café or the elegance of Austin’s Ocean One located on an upper floor with panoramic ocean views.

Also 4 miles away is Brookgreen Gardens, another local treasure.
