Relax with your friends and family in this cozy 2 bedroom house. Located within walking distance to NWMSU and less than a mile to downtown Maryville. House comes with off street parking, and good size yard.
We had a lovely stay here. It was warm and clean and we appreciated the coffee machine and pods! The location was very close to NWMSU and it felt quiet and safe. Would definitely stay here again.
This was a nice little house for my stay during Family Weekend at the University. The house was neat and tidy and has been nicely updated. Check in was a breeze and I felt very safe staying alone.
Spent the night for a fishing tournament at Mozingo lake.
Communication was great. They were flexible with requests with parking because it was a single car driveway. That was very much appreciated. The 3 things I wished were different were l- 1- the couch was kinda old and had dog hair on/in it. 2- checkout instructions included doing the dishes and putting them in drying rack, which meant to do them by hand as they wasnt a dishwasher. 3- the front door screen door didnât have a latch, so it slammed with the wind. This made us think someone was opening and closing the door when it was just the wind. It should have a latch to secure it. All in all it was a place to stay rather than a hotel.
We were in Maryville to spend time with our son who is a student at Northwest Missouri State University. We rented the property so we would have room do do things as a family. The house is older but everything works. The house cleaner did not do a good job before we arrived. We found the towels still in the dryer. Dishes had been putin the cupboards dirty. The owner offered to come fix the issues but we had already fixed the issue.. We had a strong storm one of the nights all of the windows rattle. overall a good place to stay if the cleaner does there job
The house is kept very clean and it was nice having a window ac unit in each room. Working on boilers on a hot day it was nice to be able to come back to a nice cool house on a hot summer day.
My husband and I along with my stepdaughter and her boyfriend stayed the weekend for a wedding. The house was very tidy, there was coffee and snacks available which was nice, plenty of towels, and it was easy to access. The owner was great about communicating too.
We stayed Fri- Sun visiting family. The beds are comfortable and we were happy they had a coffee maker with pods ready to use. And some snacks in the kitchen as well. We didnât cook there but the kitchen was clean.
The bedrooms still had the window AC units in them (December) so it was chilly at night. We had extra blankets so it was fine.
The owners were very responsive.
Overall a good place to stay. Only problem was if you want the bedrooms to be warm during cold weather you have to leave the doors open because there is only one heating system which is in the living room.
Great house, very comfortable. A/C & heat are great. Cozy little place
We stayed for 5 nights for my son's graduation from NWMSU. Location is perfect. Centrally located, close to everything in town. Beats the hotels by 100%. Nice appliances, charcoal grill. Front porch to relax
The house is old and quirky but nicely updated. Very clean and nicely equipped. Comfy beds and great pillows. Owners are great. They were shoveling the driveway upon arrival even though it was just a dusting of snow.
This property is close to Northwest campus. Was great for a weekend for a prospective student. House is very clean. The coffee pods and snacks were a great extra. Only suggestions would be another mirror in the house since thereâs only the one in the bathroom. Label the switches so the wifi doesnât accidentally get turned off, and maybe a list of recommendations of places to eat, things to do in Maryville. Owners were easy to contact and quick to respond. Would recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay in Maryville.
