Just steps to the beach - Villa 107!

Beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bath oceanfront condo with stunning views of the ocean from the patio and second-floor balcony. This ground-floor entry unit is located in the building closest to Driftwood Beach - one of the world's most photographic beaches! The swimming pool, laundry, fitness center, bike rentals, restaurant, and gift shop are all close by. Pets are welcome too!

PET FRIENDLY. NO SMOKING.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay.
Villas by the Seas has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE - THE POOL AT VILLAS BY THE SEA WILL BE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS BEGINNING MARCH 24, 2026, FOR 2-3 WEEKS.

Great little condo

Condo was as described. Everything we could need as essentials, was provided. Location was great, quiet and with a great view. Could use a touch of updating, but overall was a great stay. Only a short walk to driftwood beach!

Very good location we enjoyed our stay the properties very clean. The Villa was a little dated, but we had everything we needed. My family was very comfortable there.

You just can't beat that view! Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. The condo was quite lovely!

A perfect location and very comfortable condo

This unit could use a few items which we already communicated to the realtor. Some improvement in cleanliness. Would love to book the unit again. Wish they had a smart tv. Direct tv is awful. We love the Villas by the Sea. Convenient part of the Villas with the laundry right by and very close to Driftwood beach. We had a wonderful 2 weeks

Wedding trip

Enjoyed our stay nice condo and beautiful with morning sunrise outside the upstairs balcony and drift wood beach a mere 8 minute walk. We will bring bikes next time and stay longer. cons- bring your own coffee filters I had to go to the gas station to buy some & left some for the next renter. the place could use a good cleaning a lot of dead and live bugs and it could use some upgrades. Otherwise enjoyed our stay and very happy with our choice.

Out of date

The condo is out of date with country blue and mauve from the early 90's. The rocking chair upstairs was on its way to being broke. The beach chairs were rust and a bar that supports broke before we got down the stairs. Also the only bathroom is upstairs. The key cards that clearly say they will charge you $25 a piece of lost didn't work getting into to pool so we had to ask someone to let is in Everytime we went. To do laundry you will have to drive to it and also an ice maker be used the one beside us didn't.

Not as advertised…

We booked a 2 night stay at this property for a quick beach getaway. The first disappointment was that the ad clearly states that this property is steps/15 yards from the beach. There is zero beach access which crushed our plans. We had to drive to a public beach. The photos of this property are very misleading too. There were smears on the walls, the floors were dirty, pillows were ripped, the stovetop and dishes were dirty, roaches and ants,and the list goes on and on. We were also not given the key code for the unit and had to wait 45 minutes for someone to call us with the code, making us late for an event. It wasn’t just one thing it was many!

Great Location but needs love

First, the location is awesome. It's right next to Driftwood Beach, and Driftwood Bistro. However, the condo and the furniture is seriously dated and needs attention. The couch and loveseat were scratchy and uncomfortable, the chairs at the desk and dining room table were grimy, the outlets need replacing, because plugs kept falling out, and there were some small holes in the walls and doors that need patching. The refrigerator handle was also grimy, and the oven does not heat to temperature. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. A king sized bed could fit if it weren't for the unnecessarily big side tables. The bathroom sink faucet in the master bedroom was corroded. The bathtub faucet was very loose as well.

This place is just okay. It has a very run down feel. New furniture would help. The furniture is rough and smells like sweat. The bed is uncomfortable as others have stared and could use a mattress topper softer sheets and even to be a king. I wanted to cancel and rebook somewhere else after reading reviews about roaches after I had booked. Sadly that wasn't an option or I would have lost all my money. We never saw roaches though. Seems most of the complaints that are not cosmetic have been corrected. The villas are on the opposite side of the island from the main street shops and other attractions. Luckily it doesn't take more then 15 min to get anywhere though. I would consider staying in the villas again but not this particular suite as it is run down and needs a lot of TLC.

Would not recommend

There were lots of roaches. They got in my cloths, and in the bed. Found a smashed one when I woke up. And giant roach feel out of the vent in the living room ceiling onto my son. The outlet in the living room sparked when we used it. And the outlet by the balcony in the master was barely holding on in the wall. It looked like the ceiling was going to fall in over the kitchen table. There were barely enough pots and pans. Could not even cook spaghetti for the kids, because there wasn’t enough cookware. The house smelled very musty and all the boys got sick, I don’t know if it was local plant life or if the unit had mold. Either way, I would not recommend this unit. The location was amazing. The lack of upkeep and bugs almost made us end our trip early.

Great location, but filthy

Other reviews were accurate. The place was filthy. Our 10 yr old got a bath the first night and walked around inside for about an hour before going to bed and his feet were black. We checked our feet/socks, but we had been wearing shoes most of the time and we were dirty as well. We could see build-up in crevices and windows upon arrival, but didn't realize how bad it was until seeing that. We chose the unit for the location and view and that is great. It is run down and dated, but we knew that going in so it wasn't a complaint. We wanted to be close to the water and that's what we got. Very relaxing view from the upstairs balcony. The "queen" bed is not a queen, but a very old full with no padding left. If you are hoping to share the bed with anyone, plan to both be rolled into the center and maybe have a limb or two hanging off the edge. Read the listing carefully. There is only 1 bathroom and it is upstairs. We were so excited about the view, we overlooked that fact. In all, if you only care about the location and view, it's great. But it is not a place we will stay again.

Great view but……

This condo has so much potential but is lacking. First off, the view is amazing. We loved the short trail to driftwood beach. Upon arriving we noticed a lot of cobwebs with dead bugs along the ceiling and wall corners. Before leaving the condo to explore, we decided to try the lock to make sure we could get back in. The code given in the email did not work. I called the number provided and they sent someone out who said “ that is not a lock we would use, I’m not sure who put that on there”. Which made me feel very uneasy. We ended up having to use their maintenance code to get in every time. While sitting on the couch later on, I kept getting a urine smell. Not sure if it was the couch or the rug. There was also an infestation of carpenter ants in the main bedroom. There were dirty washcloths left hanging over the shower and trash in the bathroom trash can. This condo is in serious need of repairs and remodeling. The cleanliness is lacking substantially. We did enjoy our time and the view, but were very disappointed in the condition of the condo.

Overall a nice place, could use a bit of fresh paint on the walls. Love the ocean view from the balcony. Check in was very easy, and communication with host was very easy and fast. Definitely would staybin again.

It was okay….

It was okay. Disappointed could not walk out to the water from unit. Driftwood beach was next to us and that was very nice to explore. Think need to work on cleaning more thoroughly and consider additions to the kitchen ( blender, oven mitts).

Oh my aching back!!

I will need chiropractic service for a week to get my neck/back right again. The bed was horrible! The couches were broken down. Great hot water and AC. Great location. Very private. Invest in new bed and couches and it would have been a great stay.
