Our stay was excellent. The home was very clean, everything worked, comfortable beds and living area, and the homeowners are very friendly and communicated regularly to make sure everything was going fine.
We'll will plan to stay there again when we return to the Fort Myers area.
Ed and Hildy's home was one of the top VRBO's we've ever stayed at. The home was in a perfect location, was the cleanest we've ever stayed at, and communication with Ed and Hildy was fantastic. They were extremely helpful and kind. We highly recommend their home and will 100% stay again when we are in town!
Clean and updated house. More updates were being done even as we were leaving. Comfortable beds. Convenient location. We needed a few things during our stay and the hosts were very accommodating. Only complaint was the lack of "extras" - hand towels, wash clothes, dish towels, pillows, blankets, etc. Hilda brought things we asked for but just having extras in the closet would be nice for future guests.
Home was extremely clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and looks like it was recently renovated. Quiet street. Had a couple questions for owners upon arrival and they answered immediately. Can't think of anything too negative. Front windows don't close all the way (1/4" gap). Normally I'm sure this isn't an issue but we were there on probably the coldest day in years (below 50 degrees) so we could feel a draft, but when it warmed up to over 60 and 70, it was fine. Also, only had a limited number of stations available on the TV. We didn't care about that, but FYI if that's important to you.
First I must say that the owners were very attentive and left a surprise gift for my 1 1/2 year old granddaughter. She loved her gift and played with them all week.
The owner also text a couple times to see how things were going and if we needed anything.
The condo was stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods and some of the little things you might forget like shavers, ect.
The house was clean and kitchen was well stocked.
My only negative is that the master bedroom bed is very hard, to the point of not wanting to use it. Plus the sheets were scratchy.
I would recommend staying here for the attention to details and the attentiveness of the owners.
Nice house, good area to stay, close to our needed location. Storm damage very visible and work in progress.
We don't like to eat out, stores close by, kitchen needs to have pot holders, oven baking dish, and cookie sheet. Hard to make dinner with out messing up the oven at times. (Frozen Pizza, had to cook on rack).
Florida bugs (ants and other little ones) arrived a few days into the visit. Manageable and understandable however sealing of the doors and windows may help this issue.
I am sure this will be fixed moving forward after the storm damage is done.
Over all, good visit!
Amazing customer service but house needs some work
First of all let me say the owners were super nice and accommodating on making changes to our stay. The house however needs a little work. Things are just very bare bones and could have used a deeper cleaning. No cable which we weren ât aware of. No extra towels or blankets. Maybe I am spoiled but other homes I have stayed in had at least a back up roll Of tp or paper towels. Could be a really great place it just needs a little tender loving care. Could just be the remains of the hurricane but I think it just needs a little more.
