Visit our newly renovated bungalow near downtown Urbana, University of Illinois campus, hospitals and walking distance to farmer's market. Bus lines on the corner.

The home sits next to a beautiful public park with basketball and tennis courts, pavilions and playground equipment.

The feel of the home is cozy, relaxed and CLEAN! We pride ourselves on clean! The kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked and ready for you (coffee, toaster, all appliances, pots/pans, cooking and eating essentials, towels, shampoo, conditioner. If we don’t have it, we are happy to make every effort to get it to you. You are our guest! We want your stay to be 5 star!

I will be available in person by phone/text/e-mail leading up to, during, and after your stay. This property is .5 miles from downtown Urbana, the Lincoln Square Mall and Farmers Market, Common Ground Food Co-op, a dozen downtown bars and eateries, and 3 miles from the University of Illinois campus. The cottage is located immediately next to public transportation, Champaign-Urbana MTD bus service, uber/lyft are also available. There are 4 parking spots available for guests. This is the second time we have stayed at this house and it was a very good experience again. Perfect for what we need as we come down to the university for activities. Molly has always been very accessible and respond to any questions that come up.I would recommended highly for a overnight stay

Beautiful home in a great location

We spent the weekend at this cute home with our parents and loved it. Very clean and nicely maintained property next to a beautiful park with community gardens. Molly was very accommodating and super prompt and clear in her responses to our questions/requests. We'd definitely stay again when we travel as a family next.

Perfect for our travel baseball tournament

Stayed here with my boyfriend and two teens for an out of town baseball tournament in Rantoul. Super close to downtown, cute college town, and felt like a safe neighborhood. The house was cute and spacious, with excellent bathrooms and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy home in historic neighborhood

I liked it here. The location was great for me.in that it was close to my work, but still in a neighborhood setting. Being next to the park was great. The hime was cozy and cute. I would highly recommend.

Perfect home for U of I visit

This is a cute little home and looks just as in the pictures. We were 2 couples visiting our kids at U of I for parents’ weekend and wanted to stay together. This was the perfect option and so much more affordable compared to the exorbitant prices the hotels charge during visiting weekends. We had cars so being a couple miles from campus was no problem. When we had a question, Molly answered within minutes and was very helpful. We didn’t use the upstairs bedroom, but as described in other reviews, the stairs are very narrow and I wouldn’t recommend using that room for little kids, older people, or anyone with physical impairments. It’s a good option for teenagers and older probably but they still need to be careful! All in all though, I’d stay here again.

Not great old house with old house quirkiness and dangerous obstacles

It was difficult to find at night. You have to pull into an unmarked gravel alley and driveway that is in very bad shape. The outdoor lighting is poor and the deck steps are dangerous and need to be replaced. The sidewalk leading up to the house from the street is badly broken and there is no front yard lighting so getting dropped off by Uber is a potential accident if you don’t know about it. Had several issues with Uber finding the house also. We walked in to a very musty overpowering odor. We had to keep the windows open which made it hard to sleep. None of the bedroom or bathroom doors lock. The beds were very uncomfortable and one bed downstairs was unusually short. My feet hung off the end. The upstairs bedroom is really a converted attic that nobody should attempt to go up to. The stairs were precarious. So steep and unusually short / half the length of a normal stair tread. One of us had to turn around and come down backwards where the stairs turned the corner. We considered leaving early or finding another place but there was nothing available. It was decorated cute. They tried but it could not make up for some real issues

Cute older home

The home was was pleasant and met our needs. The decor was nice. Communication was excellent from the owner. The couch was hard to get up from. Parking was very tight for our one ton truck since it was in a back alleyway.
