Welcome to the Cozy Time Cottage, located in Lake Williams, CT! A cozy space to get away in the charming town of Lebanon, CT.

Enjoy summer lake activities such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing, hiking, biking, & running on the nearby trails. At night, enjoy your time around the large fire pit, the two-person outdoor futon, the gazebo with ceiling fan and lights, or the two comfy rocking chairs on the screened-in porch.

During the winter months, enjoy such activities as ice skating, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and more. 4-season rental w/ a local vineyard in town.

Summer week

Centrally located between Hartford, the ocean and Mystic. We spent alot of time at the lake beach which was a short walk. Plenty of room and games and activities at the house.

Cozy Time Cottage Well Named

It absolutely was a cozy time. The indoor and outdoor space is so inviting, the kitchen well outfitted, and we loved being able to walk to the lake. A bit hit with the adults and kids! We had a wonderful stay.

Perfectly cozy

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for to spend a few days just relaxing and exploring the beauty of CT. Anything you could ever need was available in the cottage and the beds/furniture were very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to questions and easy to work with. Our stay was nothing but pleasant.

Perfect name. Cozy Cottage.

We loved our stay. Home was clean and the outside amenities were great. The owners were very easy to get in contact with and they were very accommodating to our needs. Walmart is about a 20 minute drive. Lots of mom and pop shops to eat.

Peaceful and cozy. Just what we were looking for

As the title says, this cozy and peaceful cottage was just what my wife and I were looking for. We spent a great morning out on the lake with the provided canoe. Came back and ate some wonderful lobster rolls on the back deck (lobster rolls from the fish market in Willimantic about 15 min away). Unfortunately couldn’t use the firepit due to an open flame ban due to how dry it’s been lately, but that is certainly not the property’s fault. Firepit area looked great and we did spend some time sitting in the adirondacks around it anyway. Beds were very comfortable and we overall had a fantastic weekend

Amazing House and Location

Had the best time here, a well-appointed home with all the amenities needed. Close to the water, comfortable beds, warm, and cozy! The hosts were amazing and everything was exactly as expected (honestly it was better than expected). Will definitely stay again, highly recommended. Thank you!

Exactly what we needed

My family and I had an incredible 4 night stay at the cozy cottage. The home was tastefully decorated, sufficiently stocked with amenities/essentials and accurately “cozy”. The lake is what drew us to this rental and it did not disappoint. We spent our family time relaxing and enjoying each other’s company in the ideal setting.

Cozy, Warm, and Great Kitchen

We stayed here for a week while visiting relatives nearby. This house is very clean and has everything you could need - a well stocked kitchen, extra toiletries, 3 TVs, good internet, and multiple sitting areas. The lake has its charms even in winter too. We appreciated the festive decorations which gave an extra special touch for the Christmas holiday. We'd definitely stay again.

Cozy Cottage is Wonderful!

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our time at Cozy Cottage. Everything you could possibly need is provided right down to supplies to make s’mores! Everything is comfortable and cozy and in excellent condition. We felt right at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The pictures are an exact view of the cottage. Everything is lovely.

A True Cozy Cottage

Loved our stay here. We found the cottage to be very welcoming. Everything was very organized with instructions for all the appliances, pellet stove, and tvs easily accessible. The main bedroom was nice and comfortable. The four season room was so inviting. The pellet stove kept the cottage very warm and the fire was so soothing. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances were all new and in great working order. During our stay it rained almost all week so we did not get to use the outdoor area - but we hope to visit again and enjoy the beautiful fire pit area and gazebo. Lovely stay - we would definitely recommend.

Cozy at the Lake

We absolutely loved Cozy Cottage at Lake Williams. This adorable, fully renovated cottage is just a quick walk to beautiful Lake Williams. Cozy Cottage has every amenity you could need and Kerie has gone above and beyond to anticipate the needs of her guests. We feel so at home and so comfortable there. The beds are great, the appliances are new and of good quality. There’s a great grill for cooking out. The washer and dryer comes in handy for wet swimsuits and towels and the bathroom is modern and well-equipped. Nights are peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and we look forward to coming back soon!

Wonderful Spot. Everything you need….

To summarize, my expectations were exceeded! I am VRBO Premier host, so my expectations are high- I wasn’t disappointed. The property is as described with a lot of added delights like a nicely equipped kitchen, brand new appliances, and everything you could think of. Love the comfy beds, proximity to the lake, and coziness of the cottage. It was a wonderful bonus to walk I to air conditioned space on the hot day, then the enjoyment of the cozy electric fireplace when the weather turned cold. Easy communication, clearly laid out instructions, rules, and check out guidelines. Great property!

Wonderfull Weekend

We stayed for a long weekend. Kerie and Paul thought of everything! We cooked for 7 people and nothing was missing. We enjoyed a fire and s'mores one night. Another evening was spent on the deck talking and drinking wine. The kids (ages 5-15) managed to spend some time away from electronics to play yard games. We spent an afternoon at the lake which was an easy walk. Having canoes available was perfect. We had one snafu that the propane was empty. Kerie was immediately responsive and rectified it easily (I picked up propane and she promptly reimbursed me). It was a great weekend away and I highly recommend the house!

Perfect!!!!

This was the perfect getaway for our family!! The house was so cozy and had everything we needed! Kerie & Paul answered my questions before our trip and their "little cabin in the woods" as my kids called it, was just what we needed. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided, including hot chocolate and all the fixings! The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for all 7 of us. The back yard area was fantastic woods for the younger kids to explore and the fire pit and bbq worked out perfect for some relaxing family time. Beautiful neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. We went to 2 aquariums, a zoo, 3 museums and spent tons of money on the kids and when asked, all 5 of them told us that the "little cabin in the woods" was their favorite part of the trip! Really could not have asked for anything better and my 5 Year old has not stopped asking when we will be going back to the cabin in the woods! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and we hope to come back during the warmer months someday to get some use out of the lake!

Very Peaceful Setting

The cottage is comfortable and well stocked inside. The interior style is A+ with cozy areas to sit and unwind. I did wish for a fan for some white noise in the bedroom but made due with my phone. The only downfall was the land of spiders outside. The yard didn’t get its spring cleaning yet so we had lots of spider webs, you had to check every seat twice before sitting. Got bit twice. I recommended a good cleanup and power wash to owner to eleminate as many as possible and to remove the fake plants and dead branches decor and I’m sure they will and the problem will no longer exist for next visitors. Overall nice reset for us moms needing a break. The walk down to beach isn’t too bad either but it isn’t waterfront like expected.

Thank you for considering a stay at Cozy Time Cottage! Paul, Kingston, and I purchased this quaint cottage in 2020 during the pandemic with plans to renovate, enjoy, and rent. Due to the pandemic and material shortages, we spent more time than expected on the renovation, but we are pretty proud of how she came out. Cozy Time Cottage was once a forgotten 3-season cottage that had not been visited for 2-3 years, and now, has become a revitalized and loved 4-season home that all types of renters can enjoy, during any, and all New England seasons.

Growing up with a seasonal cottage in the Berkshires, I wanted to share the lake community lifestyle with Paul and my son Kingston. I am so happy that we were able to make our family goals come true, and that we can share these types of special moments with our guests. Lake life is like no other when it comes to special moments and family time. If you know, you know!

Paul, Kingston, and I reside in the state of Massachusetts but we are only an hour away from our dream destination, which we are happy to share with you all.

We are always happy to hear all of your thoughts on ways to improve the guest experience. We strive on being a super host and we are planning such improvements as an outdoor shower, adding two outdoor bathtubs, a relaxing shallow pond, and adding some backyard games.

Cozy Time Cottage adheres to the VRBO policy on security cameras in which we disclose the information below:
There are four security cameras located on the property (front door, backyard,
driveway, and interior kitchen). All cameras except for the driveway camera, are
disabled at guest check-in (3 PM), and re-armed at check-out (11 AM). While Cozy Time Cottage holds your privacy in utmost concern, we reserve the right to inspect
cameras during your stay, should there be circumstances in which the property,
and/or guests, experience safety issues, break the rules or policies, or acts of
god.
