Charming Rustic Ranch

Nestled between the pine trees on our spacious ranch, you can relax & enjoy! Your suite is the entire top story, with a full kitchen equipt with everything you need, full bathroom, comfy living room including a smart TV, work space and dining area. The spacious bedroom has a king size tempurpedic mattress dressed in luxurious bedding and its own private balcony. ONE BEDROOM- ideal for two people :)
There’s parking right near your private entrance and plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy including an outdoor fireplace & large yard with games and grill.

*because we live in the pines there is only one internet company who services our area. It is the best internet we can get but please know it does run at a slower pace. If you are working from home this might not be the most ideal option for you. For night time movies and shows or basic everyday use it should be just fine :)

Relax in comfort

We had the most amazing time at this peaceful getaway! The host was very helpful and she thought of everything from the phenomenal view, indoor games, outdoor games and outdoor living areas! We will definitely book again!

Perfect place to stay!

The property and space are beautiful! Wildlife was abundant on and around the property which made the space even better. Very quiet and relaxing for our week stay. Everything needed is within a 15-30 minute drive, including Pike's Peak, Palmar Lake, and Castle Rock. Communication was easy, quick, and overall great. We'd recommend this stay to anyone!

Quiet place in the woods but still close to everything. Outdoor grilling area with a wood burning stove, horseshoes, gas fire pit…… and the owner Jeff and host Kaiti were very attentive and helpful. Great place

There for a visit with family

I have to say I was surprised by how the facility was equipped to accommodate all needs. Although if you are looking for a place to work on a WiFi not your place. Quiet Get Away

Very nice and private- a great place to get away from the city and relax. Everything needed to have a great stay is here- from the kitchen with all the necessities to cook to lots of out door games. I will be back some day. Best of all it is dog friendly and has lots of land to roam with your pets

My daughter and I had a great time staying here! There were cows and the cutest dogs! It felt like home! They thought of everything! Kaiti made sure we were well taken care of and had everything that we needed! We were not ready to come home! Amazing place and such nice people!

Cozy Ranch

We felt so comfortable and at home at this property. It was quiet and peaceful and had everything we needed. We visited Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak which were only about 40 minutes away and also took a day trip to Rocky Mountain National Park which was 2 hours away. It was great to come back to a place that felt like home after a long day. We enjoyed the wildlife in the area and loved meeting the dogs and puppies. We would definitely choose this property again.

This property is a gem. It is a very nicely appointed apartment that was built upstairs in a monitor barn. The clean country appeal does not dissappoint. The kitchen is huge, the bedroom spacious and there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy your stay. Outside there are trails that lead you around the property. If you have a dog and he's good off leash, this property is heaven on earth. So much open space for your dog to run, play and explore. If that were not enough, the hosts go over the top to accommodate you. We had Thanksgiving for our family there and when we arrived the entire apartment was professionally decorated for the occasion! The host does not skip on anything. The home is abundantly appointed with just about anything you could need or want. The home is lovely inside and out! Kaiti, Tori and Caleb were great and were always available when we had questions or needed anything but we still felt like we had plenty of privacy. A great place for dogs, did I say that? There is a resident puppy who is a first rate sweetheart. In the future when we travel to Colorado this will be where we stay!

Great Accommodations

This place was great! A two week stay wasn't long enough. The apartment was about 3 miles off a major Interstate Highway and was in a perfect location, nestled in the tall pines between Denver and Colorado Springs. Upon arriving we were greeted by 6 deer. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet and just what we needed after a long trip. We found the accommodations lacking nothing. A lot of thought was put into the amenities from food in the fridge, spices, condiments, coffee, teas, etc., to dog treats (but we didn't have a dog). The caretakers were really sweet and helpful in telling us the best places to go. There is plenty of acreage to walk and enjoy the scenery under the tall pines. Driving distances to things, places, and events was perfect and we saw almost all of it in 2 wks. The place was clean and very comfortable and we hate to give such a good rating because everyone will want to go there, and we want to go back someday and it could be booked up! You can't go wrong by selecting this place! We give it 5 stars.

We love return guests and anytime you are booking a trip let me know- we can help you find dates that work! I traveled between short term rentals for months as I drove from Maryland back to Colorado. I eventually had an entire kitchen bag of spices and oils because so many rentals did not provide these things. I decided then, if I ever had a rental, it would have everything our guests need! Its hard to stay on top of it, but reading this review makes my day. :) Thank you again!

Peaceful Retreat

We were visiting CO to pick up our horses and see our kids shortly after moving from CO to IN. We were traveling with our fur babies also. We all had a wonderful time walking the trails, meeting the cows, playing yard games and spending time together. The apartment was clean and cute with everything we needed for the weekend. The dogs were even gifted some treats. The hosts and caretakers were all very kind and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Inspired by beautiful places and people I always longed for wild adventures and new experiences. After graduating college I finally left the state to explore.
Ive lived in Thailand, Bali, Greece, Norway, Hawaii, and lots of other states. Ive been to Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama. Ive roadtripped across the united states..twice. Needless to say, I did have wild adventures.
Every time I would return home I would fall in love with Colorado a little more. I guess in my younger years I used to think you had to get on a plane for an adventure but now Ive realized, its been in my back yard the whole time. Colorado is a magical state, full of adventures for any person. There are endless hikes, rock climbing and biking. There are beautiful lakes and rivers. There is live music, craft beer, good food. The state is full of friendly people. There is adventure for every one. And if your next adventure is just some space away to relax and unwind, Colorado has that too. The sunsets, the mountains, the rolling pastures, and the trees- there is something about the mountain air that is rejuvenating. If you haven't been to Colorado yet, I hope you get to experience it one day.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Tree Top Ranch is really a dream come true.
I had just returned to the states after a year of traveling when we decided to make an offer on the ranch. I grew up with my family just minutes away- yet going to the ranch for the first time felt like we were somewhere completely new.
The property is in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. You are welcomed by rolling pastures of golden grass. As you continue up the driveway you are sheltered by tall pines reaching for the skies.
The house is built like a typical barn build but was never used as a barn. We bought the property as a working property- something we would invest time and love into and eventually it would be our sanctuary.
We welcome you to be a part of the journey. It is still rustic and there is still much to be done. But what we have created is a little piece of peace and serenity. I moved in right before the pandemic and lived in the rental unit for almost 2 years. I spent time creating a cozy home for my whole family to enjoy.
Inspired by my travels, I put thought into all the details. I had been a guest making dinner at a rental after a day of adventures in a new city when I realize there is no salt... Eventually I began packing a kitchen bag so that no matter where I chose to stay I would always have the essential. haha
What I have created for my guest is a place to relax after a day of adventures- if there is something I haven't provide you with that you need, please let me know.
I hope you admire the peace and beauty of our charming ranch.
