Very relaxing stay in Gilmer County. Doug and Becky laid all ground rules out clear and concise. It made transitioning to the property run smoothly. All things from the grille on the patio to the hot tub all were a plus for myself and my family. Thank you for nice trip away from home.

This is the type of stay you hope for when renting vacation homes! Doug and Becky have gone above and beyond to make their rental not only comfortable, but accommodating for every need. Location is perfect, parking easy, communication fast. Our kids LOVED all the extras, a zipline, ping pong table, games, etc. 100% would recommend, and we’ve stayed in many rentals throughout Ellijay, Cherry Log and Blue Ridge!

Great cozy cabin - well located near Blue Ridge!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The house was clean, spacious for a group of 6, efficiently layout and cozy. Very comfortable beds! The hosts were excellent, professional and very responsive. The place looked exactly like the pictures in the listing and you click tell the owners really take pride of ownership in the cabin with all the small wonderful details. Our 11 year old daughter really enjoyed the zip line in the backyard! And our 2 year old was excited to share the double bunk room with big sis! Very convenient location - part of a gated community but still felt very private! It was only a10 min drive to downtown Blue Ridge so extremely convenient location. Would totally stay here again!

Family of 7 loved it!

Our family of 7 loved this cabin! We have 5 kids, ages 3 to 9, and they all loved the zipline the best! The Zipline is even better than it looks in the photos. It goes fast through the trees, but safe enough that our little kids could do it. There is a great circular path that goes around the property, from the back patio, down to the hot tub, then fire pit with plenty of seating, to the Zipline area, then to the swings on the deck, and back up to the patio, and around to the front porch. There are so many adorable outside decorations! The water feature with 5 baby koi fish was also a highlight for the kids. Sitting in the hot tub under the trees was amazing! The inside of the cabin is very spacious and has lots of beds for us to all spread out. The kitchen is beautiful. The basement is very large and open with a huge TV! They even have a workout room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nicely decorated. We loved all the wood inside. The kids enjoyed eating at the picnic table out back. We loved being out in nature at this cabin. We will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful holiday reunion

We enjoyed staying at this property as a family reuniting for the holidays and birthdays, and to celebrate the new year. We had an excellent time. Everything was just as we expected with plenty to do for the adults and the kids! We will be returning to Cherry log again!

Perfect weekend getaway

This property was exactly as pictured. It was located in a cozy quiet neighborhood with an amazing outdoor space. The hosts were detailed, friendly & always responded quickly. Our kids loved everything about the cabin but the zip line was the biggest hit. It was perfect for our two families with kids. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t extend our stay. Hoping to return again when we can longer!

Lovely Fall Break

Our family stayed at this property during our children's Fall Break. The kids had a great time on the zip line and playing with the various games available in the house. Hot tub was wonderful and the backyard was beautifully landscaped - we appreciated all the multiple outdoor seating areas. Comfy beds for everyone, plenty of towels and linens, and a well-stocked kitchen - overall, an excellent stay.

This is a beautiful home. The outside area is very well designed and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong table. The adults really enjoyed the peace and quiet in a very nice area. Communication with Doug was excellent. We truly enjoyed.

Our 4 day getaway is just what my husband and I needed to celebrate our 6th year anniversary.

The cabin was neat, clean, plenty of space and had everything we needed. The owners are very nice and promptly responded when messaged. It rained our first 3 days; however we enjoyed playing games, watching movies, cooking, and sitting outside on the deck watching the wildlife. We will definitely visit again.

Perfect Sr. Boys getaway with Moms

We loved this place. It was the perfect set up for a group of senior boys and moms. Our last "high school" vacation together for this group! The owners were very responsive to questions - before, during, and as we were leaving. Set up is great, bunk room, and extra room downstairs for the man cave was excellent! We will consider this property again for similar trips! Kudos to these owners for a great place!

Excellent Experience, well appointed home.

Overall a very good stay and experience, owners were very prompt in communication, there was some pet hair and cleaning had not been performed. Otherwise very tastefully appointed and close to Blue Ridge. Very good surroundings with mountain stream and gated community.

My wife and I love to travel and we love to stay off the beaten path. Our favorite travel destinations are Paris and the Big Island of Hawaii. Favorite movies? Hers? "Cool Hand Luke". His? "Twelve Angry Men". Food? We both love Mexican food. The best? Cielito Lindo on Olvera Street in downtown Los Angeles.

We have hosted guests from all over the world for the last 11 years in Gilbert, AZ. We are now excited to launch our second short term vacation rental in beautiful Cherry Log, GA. Our motto is "welcome home". We even have a welcome banner out front to prove it.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose Cherry Log for mainly two reasons. First, it's a vacation paradise and people from all over choose to vacation here. Secondly, My family is one of the original families to settle in this area. Dating back to the 1700s, I was born and raised in the West; and for the first time, I am meeting this side of my family. It means a lot to me. My great-grandparents' home is just down the road from here. To see the places my dad visited as a child, warms my heart. I have the family-history bug and I truly feel like I'm home.

Where do I start. First, you get to stay in a cabin. There's down town Blue Ridge and Ellijay, Mercier Orchards, Toccoa River, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, Long Creek Falls, Aska Trails, Vineyards and wineries, Antique shopping, Ocoee River (white water rafting), mountain biking, Blue Ridge Adventure Park (fun for kids and adults alike), Blue Ridge Lake, Fall Branch Falls, museums, Historic Mineral Bluff Depot, Flat Creed Loop, The Appalachian Trail, Tank Town USA, Toccoa River Cabin, yummy restaurants and more. OR....If you're looking to relax and unwind, the cabin has so much to offer. Relax in the hot tub; lounge on the swinging, two-person hammock; challenge family and friends to a game of ping pong, darts, foosball or corn hole; relax in the sun room, sipping sweet tea and reading your latest book or watch the big game on the outdoor TV; two fire pits means you can either warm by the gas-fire pit on the lower level patio or enjoy the rustic, wood-burning firepit. There's plenty to do in your own private oasis.
