Forget your worries in this spacious and serene sun-filled home with wrap-around deck overlooking the lake. The large back yard extends to the Laurel path and lake. Inside you'll delight in high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout this newer home. The kitchen offers lake views and includes both an eating and sitting area. Tall stone fireplaces grace the living room and sunny reading room. This perfect location is a leisurely stroll or quick bike ride to the beach, Field of Dreams, Sweet Shop or Village shopping.

Roomy and restful

Perfect location for a family getaway. Plenty of space to spread out and an easy walk to the Eagles Mere Book Store, Country Store and Sweet Shop. We had a lovely long weekend by the lake.

Celebrated 50th wedding anniversary

We celebrated my parents’ wedding anniversary in one of the quietest and most relaxing places I’ve ever been, Eagles Mere. The house was perfect for our rather large group. I’d love to go back again.

Nice house - great location

8 of us stayed in the house for 3 nights...plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The kitchen is loaded with everything you could possibly need, and the wood-burning fireplaces came in handy on some rainy nights. The area was very quiet, and the path below and behind the house goes around the entire lake for a beautiful one-hour walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Dream vacation

The home was clean, bright and perfect. Large kitchen and adjacent large breakfast room. The bedroom and bath on the ground floor were perfect for our senior grandma with mobility issues! We enjoyed watching the deer and blue jays as we relaxed on the porch. Location to the beach and sweet shop was perfect!

Wonderful wedding weekend

We rented Kingscote to have some of our extended family stay during our wedding weekend. Our family was so pleased with the beautiful home. Everyone had their own room and bathroom as well as being able to have the comforts of a large kitchen and seating area. It was one of those Eagles Mere weekends where the temperatures were all over the place, but there were fans ready in every room and extra blankets if it got too cold. Overall it was an excellent stay. We were even able to extend our stay as the host was super communicative with us. I would have family stay here again for sure!

We were not happy this time with this property.

We checked in from June 2 to June 5 2022 but we were extremely disappointed. Kitchen area :- All utensils were very dirty, Utensils in dishwasher was dirty and smell so bad. All back door was not locked properly as safety. In one of badroom bathroom smell very bad We can not stand. Overall house was not properly clean or maintain. Raman Patel

Great house!

We loved our family vacation at Kingscote in Eagles Mere! The house is lovely. Lots of space for our family of 12 to spread out. Lots of interesting furnishings, photos & books. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach, boat shed & the little town. We spent a lot of time on the covered porch which was a nice surprise as it wasn’t noted in the listing. There is also a public dock that appears to be fairly new about a 5 minute walk from the house on the Laurel Path. If you head to the right on the path you’ll find it. We spent a lot of time there. The house itself was well stocked and comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We fell in love with the peacefulness of Eagles Mere & will definitely visit again!

Eagles Mere vacation

We have multiple stays at this property. As always, it was exceptionally clean and it is such a roomy and beautiful place for our whole family of 9, including our two grandchildren. Such a beautiful location as well, right on the lake and close to the beach. Would recommend this propoerty to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun experience in the mountains of Sullivan County, PA.

Better than advertized!

Seven of us (aged 19-61) stayed Sep 30 - Oct 2, 2022 for our annual 'guys only' weekend. A chance for brothers, sons, cousins, nephews, and brothers-in-law to get together and do some hiking, and basically hang-out. The property was awesome, and actually better than the pictures show. The location was great, and I hope to get back there with my wife and children.

Great house

Spacious home with many rooms so never felt crowded. Perfect spot between lake and sweet shop both can be easily walked to. Deer grazing in back yard. Very clean very comfortable. Loved it!

This place was perfect and the lake is really nice. We had a group of 3 couples but this place could easily accommodate several others. Despite the cold and rainy May weekend, we had a great time.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Eagles Mere is on the National Register of Historic Places. Please visit and discover the wonders of “The Last Unspoiled Resort” and “The Endless Mountains”. There are beautiful hikes around the lake, a beach, sailing and kayaking rentals in-season. Some trails near the lake are available for mountain biking and the roads offer scenic views while for road biking. World's End State Park has scenic overlooks, famous sunsets and gravel biking. Nearby on the Loyalsock river is excellent fishing and tubing. Ricketts Glenn offers beautiful waterfalls to hike around.

Wonderful for the whole family. In-season the Eagles Mere Athletic Association offers tennis and soccer for the whole family, and for the kids kick-ball and fun games on the "Field of Dreams". Once here, leave your car behind, you can walk everywhere - to the Sweet Shop, or the Beach shop for lunch and ice-cream, to the beach for swimming, kayaking or sailing.
