The golf cart wasn’t usable because the front two wheels are off balance. It is very dangerous to use… we contacted about getting it fixed which they sent a guy out but nothing was done to it. We were unable to use it for our stay and we picked this house because there was a golf cart. We contacted about refund for the cart but have still not heard back. No beach towels are provided. Bed isn’t very comfy. Will not be using Panhandle Getaways for future bookings.

Loved it!

The townhouse was lovely. Nice size and location. Had no trouble at all reserving bikes. Golf cart and bikes are a great plus.

I loved the location of this property and the fact that it was dog friendly. It was right by the pool, dog park area, and a walkable or quick golf cart ride to the big chill. I did get confused finding it because the garage doors are a different color than the picture. My cons are the golf cart steering was off and the AC broke one day and we had to sleep without AC. The team did respond promptly and sent a technician at 1am. However it could not be repaired until the next day. We had a baby that couldn’t sleep in the heat so it made for an extra long night. Overall I would definitely rent this place again!

Clean, convenient, great communication

Stayed for spring break with my kids 7,4 &1 and my parents who are 70+ plus our dog. We had plenty of room and to spread out and enjoyed the golf cart and proximity to the pool and the Big Chill across the street.

Everything was great about unit except we didn’t have cable or internet our entire stay. They claimed someone was coming out but never did. Manager or PM company called after I checked out and left a voicemail. I tried texting and calling her twice with no call back. Horrible customer service by them.

Great Stay

Property was perfect for our family of four and pups. Great location next to the pool. There is a grassy dog walk two house down. Weather did not cooperate but the rental was great. The only thing I would suggest is not taking the golf cart more than 3 miles one way. It loses power very quickly. Even at 70% battery you could tell it was struggling. The beach accessories were great and the bikes were perfect.

Senior Trip

Panhandle Getaways we’re top notch on communication and getting our every need taken care of. The townhouse was spotless, the golf cart helped getting to the beach. Book your bike rentals before your trip, and you’ll enjoy sightseeing on your bike. The only problem was limited internet, and the room temperature is very freezing cold. (and you cannot adjust the temp) Overall, it was a amazing stay and I would book again Prominence again. Thanks you!

It was fine, not amazing

The house and amenities were great. Check-in was difficult because we couldn’t find our unit in the sea of identical, poorly labeled/numbered townhomes and it didn’t help that they have two streets with the same name so our GPS was useless. The listing promised four free bikes with the house which I incorrectly assumed would be there when we arrived. What the listing does not say or clearly explain AT ANY POINT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE is that the bikes come from a third party vendor that you have to call at least 48 hrs before you arrive or else you risk not having bikes available for your stay. This happened to us and was very disappointing as the bikes were a key factor in choosing Prominence for our vacation. Beach access was more of a struggle than I expected. I knew it wasn’t beachfront and was willing to travel but the closest entrance to us was closed for renovation and the traffic on 30A turned what should have been an easy Plan B into quite the ordeal. Overall a fine stay but likely won’t be going back to Prominence - especially during Spring Break.

This was a brand new offer through our concierge partners at the time of your stay. There have since been several updates, including more visible instructions and program specifics in our guest materials, and the ordering process has been made easier.
