Located in downtown Spearfish, two blocks from Main Street, we`ve lovingly transformed our 24 x 20 sq ft hobby garage into a cherished home, adjacent to the original homestead.
*Dog-friendly with approval first. * Pet fee is $75 per trip, up to 2 dogs allowed, you are responsible for all cleanup and damages. Not allowed on beds and furniture. Must be crated if left inside while gone from the property. NO CATS. PLEASE MESSAGE ME FOR DETAILS.*
The bed is a Queen bed. The couch is also quite comfortable if needed for sleeping (let us know and we can provide bedding for the couch as well).
If you are planning on doing a lot of cooking during your stay and need to know what kitchen supplies we have, just message me and I can send photos of cabinet contents.
Hulu, Disney, ESPN, and Roku channels and subscription is provided.
This property is dog-friendly! If you plan to bring your dog, you must get pre-approval and pay the pet fee before check-in. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. City law requires dogs to be on a leash while outside and because there are other cottages on the property and potentially other dogs visiting with their owners, it is extra important that dogs be on a leash when outside. Dog waste must be disposed of and any damages or additional cleaning may incur additional fees. We cannot currently accept cats, birds, etc at this property.
We have a strict no smokers policy (no smoking inside OR outside) as I am asthmatic and can have episodes with even second-hand smoke.
We want you to know that there is no laundry on location but the laundry mat is about 5 blocks away.
The parking for this property is free 24-hour street parking.
Important note for showers: The water heater is a tiny-home water tank so there`s about 15min of hot water at a time (it takes about 1 hr to fully reheat).

We are located less than 1 mile from award winning Dough Trader Pizza, a few blocks from Spearfish Creek, a mile from Lookout Mt Hike, and half a mile from stunning Spearfish Canyon and the beautiful City Park.
HOUSE RULES
As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our home while keeping the property safe and in good condition for the next guest.
SMOKING
No smoking or aerosolized substances of any kind are allowed on the property. If a guest violates this rule within 50` of the structure, a minimum of $250 fine will be charged and the guest will be liable for the total smoke mitigation charges that a professional smoke remediation company charges.
PETS
This house is dog-friendly with a one-time pet fee. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. Additional pet fees will be incurred if there is damage or extra cleaning due to the pet. Dog waste must be disposed of or fees will apply. Also, although furry feline friends are lovely, we cannot accept cats at this property.
HOT TUB
The following persons should NOT enter a hot tub for safety reasons: pregnant women, babies or infants, young children, persons with Diabetes, Heart Disease, High/Low Blood Pressure, Infections (Viral/Fungal/ Bacterial), or anyone with an open cut or wound. Do not use a hot tub while under the influence of alcohol or narcotics. Use caution when entering/exiting. Children must be supervised at all times. Exit the tub should you become dizzy, faint, or nauseous. Breakable objects, pets, soaps, bathing oils, bubbles, and other liquids are prohibited. Remove/replace the hot tub cover carefully - never sit or stand on the hot tub cover. Misuse will result in a replacement fee minimum of $550.00. Keep the hot tub cover on and locked (strapped down) when not in use for safety and to maintain an appropriate temperature.
QUIET HOURS
Please respect the neighborhood and keep noise levels down after 10pm and before 8am.
GENERAL DAMAGES
Please let us know if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during a guest`s stay will need to be paid for by the guest before departure. Our cleaning team checks for damages and missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.
FIRE PREVENTION AND SAFETY
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, fans, hair tools and portable device chargers.
MAXIMUM GUESTS
The number of guests in this home should not exceed the maximum number of guests specified in the listing. Additional charges apply if exceeded. No parties allowed as this provides a strain on the home and neighborhood. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission guests will be responsible for any extra cleaning charges and guests will be asked to vacate immediately.
CONSUMABLES
We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.
CRIME AND DRUGS
If guests are suspected of breaking laws or storing/selling/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and guests will be asked to leave immediately.
CLEANING FEES
The basic cleaning fee covers the cost to disinfect the property between guests, laundry wash/dry/placement, staging the property as it was, cleaning bathrooms, floors, hard surfaces, etc. It does NOT cover cleaning items such as coloring on walls, pet accidents, damaged linens, damage to structure, furniture, gouges in flooring, broken items, or other extraneous items.
