Beautiful Cottage nestled on the WI shore of Lake Michigan. We have the best view of the water from inside the house and out! The deck is perfect for relaxing, enjoying a meal or morning coffee to the sound of the waves. A bedroom, living room and full bath on each level make it convenient when traveling with another couple or family.
Stairs lead to the shore and into the water! Bring your water toys and a swim suit to enjoy swimming and playing in Lake Michigan!
Winter stay? No Problem! Cozy up next to the fire and enjoy the view out the enormous Living room windows. You will not be disappointed when you stay at SurfDaze!

We had such a quiet relaxing time. Watching the lake change colors and the sound of the waves, so relaxing. Surfdaze is pet friendly . We hope to return sometime.

Great vacation

We had a great time at this cottage. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Loved the view of the lake and had lots of fun swimming in it! Cassie makes everything about the process easy, and she's very responsive.

This place was as advertised, the host was quick to answer any questions and provide recommendations. We plan on coming back when the weather is nicer to enjoy the outdoor spaces and the lake

Lake Michigan gem in Wisconsin

Stunning lakefront views from this charming cottage that is close to beautiful parks, great museums and wonderful restaurant. Our second time staying here and hope to return.

Amazing location with gorgeous and expansive view of Lake Michigan!!

Very clean house with everything we needed for a comfy and cozy stay. Even on the colder days we enjoyed the view of the lake from the amazing picture windows. Wonderful location and quiet neighborhood! Hope to return some time soon!!

This is a beautiful property.

It was a very quiet and beautiful property. The only noise was the coming from the rolling waves. Very clean and neat. We had a great time.

Quiet and peaceful

We stayed for 2 weeks and we're more than pleased with SurfDaze. The house was clean, it was nice to have plenty of consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) only thing that could have made it better was a dishwasher, but that's me being picky and lazy. The lake was gorgeous and changed from calm to lots of waves during our stay and was fun to watch.

As Advertised

Great two bedroom two bath beachfront views and walking. The second bedroom lounge on the lower level would be better decorated to the quality of the master bedroom unit, but is as advertised.

Fabulous Cottage

This is a cozy cottage with fabulous views in a wonderful location. A conveniently located getaway. The nearby towns of a Oostburg and Sheboygan offer everything you could want for a wonderful vacation. Great food, great hiking, kind and generous people. This cottage offers the best views of beautiful Lake Michigan. Lots of great nearby hiking. Cassie is super easy to work with. A very carefree cottage and wonderful place to escape to.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at SurfDaze! The house was incredibly clean and the kitchen was well stocked! Such a great set up for our family of four. Beautiful view overlooking Lake Michigan in a peaceful neighborhood. Nice area for walks in the surrounding nature. Oostburg is such a cute town so close by, made grocery shopping very convenient. We already booked our return stay! (We also stayed in BeachDaze next door for a couple of nights to extend our trip and it was equally wonderful)!

Amazing Views

I booked this stay because this cute little house was a dream of mine to own. Renting was the next best thing :). The panoramic lake view from the main living area is unbeatable! The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed bonfires at night and beautiful morning sunrises. The wi-fi worked great and the host is very responsive. It was a nice little “staycation” for me and my family.

Right on the big lake

We enjoyed being so close to the water, having a fire overlooking the lake, and lounging on the deck. There is an incredible walking beach about a mile north. The only drawbacks were no shampoo or conditioner in the shower, and very few basic cooking supplies. Almost no salt and pepper, no cooking oil, no coffee or even a good coffee making set-up.

The view of Lake Michigan at this house is spectacular... definitely 5 stars for the views and beach access! Cassie was great to work with and very quick to respond to any questions we had. A couple of minor upgrades and we'd consider this to be a 5- star property. The deck is fantastic, but is not gated to keep children and pets secure. Installing gates would give parents/pawrents peace of mind and make relaxing on the deck much easier. Additionally, we'd recommend installing treads on the deck stairs leading into the house. I only have vision in one eye and found it difficult to discern one step from the next because the stairs and deck visually seem to all blend together. I fell a couple of times and my husband who is not sight challenged, also nearly fell a couple of times. Otherwise, a nice home with fantastic views, incredibly peaceful, close to great restaurants and activities in Sheboygan. Thank you Cassie for hosting us !!

perfect! perfect!

This is an amazing place to be immersed in the Lake. Wonderful little cottage, comfortable and cozy, heavenly bed...and the view of the Lake envelopes the upstairs. The deck is fabulous, spent much time reading, having picnics, drinking champagne and playing in the water in front of the cottage. It was great to be able to open the windows when it wasnt' too hot to bring in the heavenly sound of the surf. Cassie is a spectacular host, very responsive to any need or question. Could not imagine a better experience on Lake Michigan. Extremely happy. Thank you so, so much Cassie!

Excellent Lake Michigan Views!

Echoing many of the reviews already shared, the closeup view of Lake Michigan is impressive whether you're inside the home or lounging outside on the great wraparound deck. Depending on the weather, you can get beautiful bright blue calm water to raging waves crashing on the shoreline frontage. Fortunately, our 3-day stay was very nice with great sunny weather and mostly calm water that made our overall visit so much more enjoyable. The inside/outside home amenities & accommodations were good including the accessibility of very good restaurant options and shopping in the Sheboygan & Kohler area only 10-15 minutes away. If you're traveling through the Oostburg area and want to stay somewhere quiet in the woods with Lake Michigan at your fingertips, the photos in the property listing tell the story.

Winter getaway

Cassie couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. An incorrect booking I made was taken care of and totally refunded within an hour. Cassie was most helpful accommodating any requests or concerns. When we had trouble with the fireplace, it was taken care of immediately, by the owners and at our convenience. Including driving some distance to get a part on a Saturday night!! We enjoyed the fireplace the rest of our stay. Cassie was kind, made things easy and was excellent to work with!

Perfect Family Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Surdaze last week! Cassie was a very kind and responsive host. Very clean and cozy home with all the accomodations you would need. This was our first time visiting this area. Most days spent at Kohler-Andrea walking the beautiful trails and relaxing on the beach! Sheboygan riverwalk restaurants and pier were fun spots at night. Blast icecream was a favorite for us! We spent one afternoon at Sheboygan Quarry Adventure Park. Our older kids had so much fun on the water inflatables! We were spoiled with beautiful weather all week and enjoyed a lot of time outside on the deck and using the firepit at night. Watching how the lake would turn new shades of blue throughout the day and the moon reflecting over the lake at night..we couldnt decide which view we loved more! It was truly breathtaking and the perfect week away with our family to reset and relax! Thank you again for sharing your home with us. We look forward to returning again!

A beautiful place to stay. We watched waves every day which grew from 1 to 7 feet. The sunrises were beautiful. We drove through State Parks to see beautiful Fall colors. The house was perfectly clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was comfy. The fireplace was warm and toasty with a great ambiance. Just a great place to get away and relax. The biting flies were a bit much during the warmth of the sun, but that is nothing compared to that view! This place eceeded my expectations, and would recommend Sunny Daze to anyone.

The VIEW is Amazing! You can see for miles and miles down the lake shore. Sunrises are spectacular and sunsets are filled with pastel beauty! You will not regret staying!
