Beautiful property and host couldn't have been better. You will like this place. It was appointed with everything you could possibly need. Two primary suites, nice kitchen and a great patio to sit and watch the wildlife. We were very happy to stay here.

This was our second stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is immaculate and comfortable. The host is lovely and left us cookies. I appreciate all of the small touches that have gone into making this a wonderful place to stay! This year, we saw turkeys and deer near the property, which was really cool. Thank you!!

This was the BEST place! Everything about it. It was very unique, clean, private, with wildlife coming through the property daily. Everything you can think of is in the house. The owner was amazing to us. The homemade cookies that were left for us were incredible.

Retreat in the woods

The property is very private with an amazing outdoor seating area that is completely covered and surrounded by trees! Coffee in the morning was magical. The home is clean, warm and inviting with a bougie western vibe. The host was attentive and replied to questions/requests quickly. We loved it! I would definitely stay again.

From the time we stepped into this property we felt the thoughtfulness that went into making our stay a memorable one! This is a beautiful cabin set in a very peaceful location. All the amenities you could ever need with the most wonderful host!

Great place to stay while visiting Silverwood

What a fantastic place to stay. I have never stayed at a vacation rental where the owners put so much effort into making sure everything we could possibly need was stocked. It was like being at home. We would definitely stay there again. This is a very clean, private, spacious, and beautiful place. Thank you for sharing your home!

Peaceful

The guest house is nestled in the woods. Whitetail, turkey, qual, all with their babies, grazing across the property. House was incredibly clean, comfortable and had more than you’d need. Shelly, the host, was great. She left us snacks and drinks and even brought us fresh cookies one morning. Can’t say enough good about this place.

Best stay ever

The hosts were communicative and accommodating. They spoiled it for all other vrbo stays in the future. This home was so comfortable. Every detail was perfectly thought out. The house felt like we were home, but better. Fully stocked. Lake view. Protected parking. Relaxing!!!

I doubt you will ever see a nicer more well built vrbo/airbn. Inside and out

Showers and Beds are excellent. Most comfortable I have ever slept in away from home. No short cuts when building this space out. Wether or not you favor the natural wood theme, you would have to be blind to not see and appreciate the craftsmanship, care and attention to detail that went into putting this place together. It is as described in the listing, wouldnt hesitate to return.

Even better than the pictures.

This is the perfect place for to couples to relax for the weekend. There were no details left out for our care and comfort. Two master bedrooms and baths work great everyone to have their own space when they need it. Wonderfully stocked by a host who goes the extra mile. Oh….Thank you for the kind words. Side note……every piece of wood in our guest house was circle sawed for us, sent to a mill to kiln dry, brought to the barn where I sanded and finished it for the contractor to install including all the cabinetry and doors!! It was a years labor of love! I would love to have you back and am so happy you enjoyed yourself.

My family and I had THE best time at this property and it’s all thanks to the owner Michele. She was so accommodating, caring, thoughtful, and professional. She stocked up the guest house with anything you could ever need and more (snacks, drinks, towels etc). You can tell she puts so much care, not only into her guest house, but into the people who stay there. She goes above and beyond, and is only a phone call/text away if you are in need of anything, she’s also very prompt. I would absolutely recommend you stay here if you just want a peaceful quiet get away. The home was beautiful, the decor is so perfect, and the craftsmanship is stunning. You will feel right at home, and like you’ve known Michele your whole life. Thank you for the stay, we will be staying again.

2-night/3-day getaway from Couer d'Alene

This vacation home is so amazing. It is rustic, yet modern and luxurious and completely comfortable, cozy, enchanting and charming, as well as super spacious. It is only 15 minutes from Sandpoint, but much better than actually staying in Sandpoint, because it is in the forested hills by Cocolalla Lake, close to Round Lake State Park and Sandpoint, as well as a short drive to Schweitzer Mountain ski resort. The home is beautifully decorated, with all the modern conveniences and spectacular views from the covered back patio and the upstairs balconies. We enjoyed the white christmas vibe and saw deer and rabbits frolicking in the woods around the house. The house was also stocked with tasty snacks and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The stay went absolutely perfectly and we would definitely want to stay there again, whether at Christmas time again, or in the Spring, Summer or Fall as well.

Friends Wedding

My son was in a wedding at Firebrand which was right around the corner from the house so it was perfect! This house is one of a kind! The love and care given to the house is evident in all the extra details. The woodwork is gorgeous, all done with local wood. There are some very neat antiques around the house. The beds are very comfortable, one of them is even a sleep number, adjustable bed! The house is fully stocked with just about anything you need, from toiletries to the kitchen! Shelly even had snacks and drinks available for us when we arrived! She dropped off homemade cookies one morning! Shelly definitely has the gift of hospitality! The location is nice and quiet. There is a great restaurant only a few minutes away, The View, we highly recommend! Sandpoint is a nice town to walk around in also, not too far. Overall this is an exceptional home and if you're in the area stay here!!

Super Great Hostess!!!

Beautiful place inside and out. Shelly was an awesome hostess!! She was in contact with me a week before our stay. She asked what we liked to drink and what we liked for a snack so she would have it ready for our arrival. She offered to make up garbage bags full of ice when she knew we were struggling to get ice to my daughter’s wedding venue nearby. She not only provided ice but loaned us ice chests to get it to the site. Who does that for no charge? Shelly the owner does!! She had all kinds of drinks, condiments and candy to snack on. We felt so at home. The king bed was so soft. Spacious place and decorated so beautiful. The surrounding a trees and wildlife was so relaxing. Close to Firebrand wedding venue, Lake Cocolalla, Sandpoint and Coeur d Alene. Shelly went above and beyond. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place!!!
