An exceptional experience from start to finish. Wonderful hosts that communicated before and after our stay. The house was as stated ..old meets new. Very charming, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed nights sitting in the rockers on the porch talking. Would absolutely recommend this beautiful farmhouse.

Host was excellent at communication. The house was absolutely stunning and so clean. Everything was easy to find within the house and the property was so peaceful. I wished we could have stayed longer, but will hopefully be back. Check in/out was made easy with all instructions sent prior to arrival. Thank you for the amazing stay.

We visit extended Canton area here and there, and we were really pleased to have chosen to stay at the Farmhouse. Great location in relation to local towns and areas we wanted to visit during our stay. Close to Canton for Pro Football Hall of Fame. We ate at local hibachi restaurants, went to local grille’s and also a brewery nearby. Being across the street from a playground also helped with the kids. Area was great. The Farmhouse itself we thought was amazing. 3 large bedrooms, two full baths upstairs, a quarter bath downstairs for convenience. Excellent kitchen that opens up to the family living room, made hosting dinners super easy. Place was super clean as well. I was impressed! You’re getting an updated Farmhouse in the country nearby larger towns like Canton, really can’t beat it for the price tag. Perfect for a family of 4-5. Thanks for having us!!!

Nicely located quaint Farmhouse

Had a nice visit with family and friends in the Akron/Massillon and surrounding areas. The Farmhouse was perfect for our stay, with easy access to roads in every direction.....The home was well-equipped and very clean and comfortable.....We would love to come back another time and do a little exploring in the spring/summertime...

Perfect for family of 4 adults

The perfect spot for my family of 4 (parents and 2 adult children) to stay while exploring Canton. The house was updated incredibly, all while maintaining the charm of an old farm house. The bedrooms were laid out so nicely, the extra pillows and blankets in each were great, and was nice to have tvs in each room. Extra touches like the nightlights in the bathrooms were much appreciated! We did not use the kitchen but it seemed stocked with everything one might want. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch and walking the property. Great location to get in and out of Canton, and close to the delicious Tasti Creme!

This house needs work. One night a window broke and kept us awake. The next night the spouting banged against the house for hours. Some of the doors and door knobs don’t work properly. The host clearly knew the lock box wasn’t working, but hadn’t fixed it or told us before we arrived. We had to wait about a half hour before the issue was resolved. The stairs and floors are uneven; they are not safe for young kids or anyone with mobility problems. Lighting for the stairs is minimal. The washer and dryer are in the basement. Very little is provided. No sugar or creamer for coffee, no tissues or napkins, and the kitchen only has what previous guests left behind. We only got one towel per person for a multi night stay. The toaster was broken.The beds are not all good. The bedrooms have no dressers. There are closets. Two rooms had zero hangers. The other had a few hangers, but no clip hangers for pants.The living room furniture is stylish but uncomfortable.Lastly, this property has a Navarre address, but it isn’t very close to Navarre, Massillon, or Canton. No restaurants are nearby. The house is close to the road and train tracks. I won’t stay here again or at any of this host’s properties. In addition to these problems, communication was poor and the host was rude.

Beautiful farmhouse stay

We enjoyed our stay and the farmhouse has been well taken care of and tastefully and neutrally decorated. Beds were very comfortable. A couple things would help for future possible stays. The porch lights would have been nice. It was pitch dark when we arrived and our mother wasn't comfortable with the lack of welcome and feeling of safety. There are no lamps in the main living room or most bedrooms. No reading lamps and the living room needs warmed up with a floor and table lamp. The windows were all unlocked which added to the creepy feel when we came in. Overall, the place is lovely and simple.

Perfect for a Wedding at the Farms

We loved this house it accommodated 6 adults, 1 teenager and 1 tween. We were able to check in early, relax and chat before getting ready for our nieces wedding. It was comfortable and nicely decorated! Thank you for a lovely stay at your beautiful home!

Great location to visit the Amish area as well as Canton and Akron. Easy check in and out. The house is ideal for 2 to 3 couples.

Farmhouse Rocks!

The Farmhouse in Navarre Ohio is a charming, clean and nicely updated - yet still with many of the original features from so long ago. Spacious kitchen, dining and living space with large and well appointed three bedrooms on second floor - all with king beds which is hard to find. We highly encourage folks to stay when in northeast Ohio. Thank you for a great stay!

Charming and updated nicely!

A very nicely remodeled and large open home. Everything was great. It isn't the most quiet location wiith the nearby train tracks, but I only heard it go by a couple of times in 4 days. We will be back when we are in the area again.

Charming Farmhouse Getaway

We had a lovely time during our weekend at The 1885 Farmhouse! The online description was completely accurate. The property was clean, comfortable, cozy and included everything we needed and more! The owners were very welcoming and attentive to any questions we had during our stay. Our family gives our visit two big thumbs up!!
