Welcome to the Golden Girls Palace, the most nostalgic retreat in SWFL. Our lovely 3br/2ba pool/jacuzzi home is where Old Florida charm meets Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia for a slice of late night cheesecake. This charming house, nestled in the quiet New York section of Port Charlotte, is located near many of Florida’s most sought after beaches, dining, fishing, golfing and shopping. Our space comfortably sleeps 6 and boasts all of the amenities from home that you would expect while traveling to the Sunshine State. Located only minutes from the Charlotte Harbor and a short drive to most of Florida’s sought after landmarks, you will not be disappointed in your choice to stay with us.



Spend your afternoon lounging by the pool sipping on a much needed cocktail. Need to relax after a long day of golf? Take your tired and achy muscles into the hot tub for a little rest and relaxation. Make lasting memories playing yard games and grilling up a delicious meal for the whole family to enjoy.

Had a comfortable stay. Plenty of room, clean and tranquil setting with pool and hot tub. Didn’t use family features but plenty of things to keep kids busy

Wonderful

Returned last night from an absolutely lovely stay here. My wife and I were joined by dear old friends and we enjoyed every minute. The layout of the house was perfect for our group - each couple having their own wing. The thoughtfulness of the hosts was the best we've encountered: from communication to instruction videos to everything being very well supplied. Everything was easy, everything worked, everything was just right for us. And the yard, patio, pool, and spa were just outstanding. For the middle of a long winter break we relished the time outdoors - good for body and soul in all respects. Seriously, we've not a thing bad to say. What you see on the listing is what you get and much more. Oh, and we were joined by a pooch as well. She would say she loved it too, particularly with her owners being in such good and generous moods the whole time!

Golden Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this property that was just as described in the listing. The back yard is an amazing setup with a great pool and hot tub, nice covered patio, and game area. House had a nice layout and was clean, in a safe neighborhood, and the hosts were always responsive and helpful. Lots of extras like games, puzzles, and even beach chairs and equipment for families to enjoy. Very convenient to groceries and restaurants. We could get to several nice beaches like Englewood and Ft Myers within an hour. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect House

The house was everything you can imagine and more. The pool being at 84 degree is a must during your stay at this beautifull VRBO and the spa was the cherry on top. The house was clean and perfect. Fenced backyard, so it was perfect for the dogs. Very safe neighborhood. I hope we can do this again next year.

It’s like you are at home

What a nice home!!!! From the moment we opened the doors it was clean and fresh. The back lanai was very nice, comfortable furniture and a great breeze. The kitchen appliances where all updated, and plenty of pans to do your own cooking. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable ( I tried all the beds because I could 😊), and plenty of closet space. The owners were very easy to get a hold of and very nice to deal with. The location of home is actually 1.5 miles from Route41, so it was perfect to get anywhere, NorthPort one direction, Punta Gorda another, Tampa another., beaches within 30 minutes or the Harbor in 8-10 minutes. Ohhhh and a town golf course one street away. We had a great time and look forward to coming back. Thank you Jamie & Kristie for everything!!!!!

Perfect house and great neighborhood pet friendly overall great stay

Stayed at the house for 8 weeks everything was perfect. Stayed in contact with the host about any small things we needed. Neighborhood was great for walking the dog, location to shopping was perfect, everything close to the house. Overall it was a great experience and we will not hesitate to rent this house again. Can’t say enough good things about the house, the host, and the neighborhood

I am from Palm Beach, Florida and my partner is from Northern Canada. We love hosting people in the lovely state of Florida since there is so much to see and do! Our beaches are incomparable to other locations across the country. We are close to the shark tooth capital of the world! Our dream was to have a pool home in SWFL to share with others that are passionate about having a relaxing tropical vacation year round. We enjoy traveling all over the globe and the U.S. and seeing different cultures and way of life.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We live in the best little neighborhood (NY district) of Port Charlotte, Fl. It is close to everything and our neighborhood is very safe with great neighbors! It is quiet and relaxing but a short drive to Punta Gorda and all SWFL has to offer. It is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in the Port Charlotte area.

Our custom outdoor space was created with relaxation in mind. We built a custom saltwater pool/spa, creating the ultimate tranquil vacation destination. The privacy of our backyard is hard to compete with as it provides a luxurious feel to this quaint Florida home.
