MINI MANSION WHOLE LEFT WING, TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT AVAILABLE AT A (LOW RATE)
This mini mansion has a total of six apartments. I am using one of the two bedroom apartments as a short term rental. Each room has it's own unique style and characteristics, definitely one of a kind. Room one has high ceilings, Victorian crown moldings, a large window seat and a double winding princes windows and Two stain glass windows. Large round walk in closet, with a unique round door and hardwood floors. Room two has it own unique style, as well. Hardwood floors, three large windows, two closet, one large, one small and a lovely French glass panel door, that leads to a front balcony, with a view of other mansion in the area. A large eat in kitchen/siting area, with a futon. One large bathroom, with vanity sink mirror and a tub shower combo.
Les points faibles : Communication, emplacement, exactitude de lâannonce

My Wife was quite upset upon our arrival, which contributed to an unpleasant & stressful stay.
We came in late and left early, we were on tour and booked it as a place to clean up and sleep then get back on the road. The photos aren't inaccurate, but it's kind of rough. The photos should speak for themselves; for example the sign talks about homelessness, hanging on the porch, doing drugs, etc, all saying that you will be ejected immediately for violating the rules and if you are offended, "deal with it." While I take no issue with not allowing homelessness, loitering (though I assume the porch is part of the rental, meaning it should be permitted), or doing drugs, the sign felt both very condecending and tacky and summarized the feel of the property. There is also a sign saying the property is protected by a handgun and god. If rental property has to specify it isn't a homeless shelter that property may not be a place to rent to traveling guests for a profit. Because VRBO doesn't offer guests a way to upload photos, which harms the ability to show what the unit looks like. In short, grungier and less maintained, particularly outside the unit in the hallway and stairs.
The shower handle came off in my hand when I turned it, I didn't take a photo because I was in the shower and such. There's pretty limited cookware, and check the photos to see why I threw out the instant coffee once I saw the available teabags. We were there less than eight hours. May be the least comfortable mattress I have ever been on. The street is pretty noisy when cars come by.
We booked this overnight stay during my daughters basketball camp. It was a 3 day camp, and although we are about an 1 1/2hr drive it was a lot to do that 3 days in a row. Just really needed clean , safe place to spend a night. I knew from pictures it wouldn't be fancy, but that was fine not what we needed this time. We arrived around 4pm. We drove into the neighborhood and were not comfortable or happy with the area we were in. The prop owner called the street " mini mansion row" so you would think the area would look clean and safe. We almost didn't get out of the car my friend and my daughter had to be coaxed. The house looked rundown, the lawn not taken care of. The front gate was broke, the porch wasn't tidy the steps had broken glass all over them. The front door was open our instructions told us to obtain keys from lockbox but never gave us lockbox combo,so we had to call for help which took almost 30min. We were told we were on the 2nd floor. The steps looked like they might cave in. There were numerous signs to "tread carefully steps were in middle of being fixed" the ballusters were tied with twine. The main door to our unit was open? Though each bedroom was locked. The bed sheets had hairs, lint etc on them. The place was filthy. Leftover food in containers in fridge. Actual entire fish body in a takeout container! The bathroom was falling apart besides being dirty. We felt mostly unsafe! and too disgusted to even touch the furniture let alone sleep on it.
I purchased this property about ten years ago. I've been working on it ever since. I am fortunate enough to have a property manager / handy man who lives on site, maintains the house and to help my guest when needed.
