The home was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious for our family. The location was great as we could easily walk to any restaurants or shops in the town.
We were so happy with our stay here. The house is an adorable old/new home-the details in the design that incorporate history were so fun to see. The details to make our stay comfortable were so nice! Everything was clean and organized.
We loved this place! Warm, clean, and all the amenities you would need. Great location and price. Check in was super smooth with local details at our fingertips through the use of the Lauren's digital check pad near the entryway. Lauren was also superb with communication. We would stay here again!
Beautiful and cozy with upscale amenities. We were especially impressed that the owner chose a temperpedic mattress!!
Thank you, thereâs nothing better than a comfortable good nights sleep.
Great base camp for skiing at Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass. The home is perfect for a family of four with comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very interesting, tasteful decor. We took a snowy walk to explore Wallace and enjoyed the downtown.
The Hiawatha trail is 18 miles from the house, the town has many good restaurants and novelty shops. The house has great internet connections, keyless entry, internet panel check in. Beds are comfortable, and good size. The house is comfortable and in a perfect location. I would stay here again.

A lovely kitchen
Big table
Would be wonderful place for a few nights while exploring the bike trails and hiking/ rivers in the area
Thank you!
Comfortable home. Interior has been updated, but still keeps some of the old style charm. Everything worked well for us and host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. we biked The Coeur Dâalene Trail from Plummer, stayed one night, and then biked the trail back. Location was great! Very close to grocery store, convenience, stores, and restaurants. Just a very short bike ride from there Coeur dâAlene bike trail. Would stay again.
We came here for a cycling trip, it was a great home base. Really well equipped. Only improvement that I think is needed is a washer and dryer. I missed that these were not on site and we had to ride in dirty bibs and jerseys as we had bike packed and I mistakenly thought a washer and dryer was available. Other than that, great spot!
My family and I loved the time we spent in this home! It is updated nicely and is a great base for outdoor adventures in the area or exploring the shops in Wallace.
The living room is a great area for everyone to gather together, and the kitchen and dining area are excellent for meals at the house. The rooms and bathroom are nicely appointed as well. Lauren was prompt to respond to my questions, and she left a book (made by her) with restaurant and shop recommendations. My toddler affectionately calls it the "red house on the mountain," and we are already considering a return trip this summer.
My husband and I came to Wallace to ride our bikes on the great trails in the area. This house is adorable and super comfy. The owner was available to answer questions in a timely manner prior to our arrival and during our stay. We travel a lot and by far this is the most attentive owner Iâve come across. The extra details at this home were so thoughtful- snacks, coffee pods, etc. and made us feel welcomed. The electronic board was easy to use for checking in/out and finding places to dine.
The town itself is fun to explore - shops, dining and a Silver Mine Tour with a trolley ride - helped make our time in Wallace memorable and fun. We would return to a house named Wallace for sure!
We really enjoyed our stay here. I love the remodel, she really thought of everything. The beds were very comfortable, matter of fact I had to take pictures of the bedding maker because it was so soft and cozy I have to get some for our home. There wasnât a single thing the house didnât have which Iâm finding a lot of places skimp on those âhomeâ touches nowadays. But not here! The town is so cute, and the people very welcoming. I would highly suggest the mine and trolly tour when you first get there to learn all about the town. We couldnât believe how yummy every restaurant was too! The fall colors were so beautiful shining through the cute front door. Great location, amenities, communication, and comfort! Thanks for sharing your adorable home with us!
The home was charming, quiet street, just what we would want in a VRBO. Wallace is a fun small town, with nearly everything within walking distance. Community free pool out the front door, grocery store, shops, and trendy restaurants everywhere. I recommend the Pulaski hike. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.
My family and I escaped the city life for some time in the woods, and we canât say enough wonderful things about this home! So lovely, comfortable and clean! Well stocked and set-up is an understatement! Beds are so comfortable! Kitchen is so fun to cook in! We just loved it so much and look forward to another stay!
We enjoyed our stay in Wallace. The renovation was nicely done and we appreciated the character of the home. Would stay again at The House Called Wallace.
I've stayed in many VRBO properties and this was by far, the nicest!!! The place is absolutely beautiful!!! From the wonderful beds to the nice touches of personal shampoos etc, if you need them. Absolutely gorgeous remodel!!! Close to town....absolutely the best place I've stayed!!!!
