Perfect family reunion home

This house is absolutely gorgeous! We had seven couples and 20 children. The setting is just spectacular! Nicest neighborhood at Bear Lake. Having access to the reserve beach topped off the whole reunion, making it perfect!

What a great place! We loved that the property was at the top of The Reserve and on a cul-de-sac. Highlights - lots of space between the main house and the little house, lots of seating areas, beautiful master suite, two separate laundry areas in the main house and another in the little house, great driveway for cars and fun. Jim was helpful with my many questions. Beautiful home in a beautiful area!

Incredible beautiful home

Amazing trip with family. Loved Bear Lake and staying at the reserve was a bonus! Jim was a great host and very welcoming! The house is awesome and our family had a great time.

Great Bear Lake Home!

We had a great time at this property for our family getaway! The home was very well stocked and was in great shape. There were so many games and activities at the home for all age groups.

Fabulous weekend getaway

Our large family loved staying at this home. It accommodated all of us beautifully. It's at the top of the Reserve, so the view in every direction was wonderful. Not only were there enough bedrooms, there were several common areas and the main house kitchen and common area was great for us to gather. The garage playroom was fantastic for kids and adults. We loved staying here!

Family Reunion

We had a great time. It helped that the property was so clean and had so many things for the kids to keep them busy. The area was so beautiful we were able to have our family pictures taken without having to drive to Garden City or up Logan Canyon. Would highly recommend.

Family reunion

We loved this house. It had something for everyone. It also is wheelchair friendly which is a must for us because of my dad. We were able to bring a portable ramp and he could get right inside the house. There are gathering places to play games, a pickle ball area and basketball hoop. We loved it!

Best Reunion Venue Ever!

The pictures of the location and description didn’t do justice! The Summit is totally beautiful and amazing. We used both the main and casita for our large family reunion. The rooms were large and spacious with so much space and activities to do. We were never on top of each other. The large kitchen and great room provided space for all in our group to enjoy dinner together. There was even a high chair! We used the Pickle Ball courts to do a family tournament and others were able to watch it while laying out at the pool. When I had questions, Jim responded quickly and was extremely kind and attentive. I can’t express how wonderful this VRBO was!

Excellent Property

Our family of 26; adult children and grandchildren had an exceptional stay. The house is well cared for, clean and nicely appointed. The views are stunning. Each year for 22 years we have rented a large home to gather our family together. This is clearly in the top 2 rentals. The children especially enjoyed the garage-turned into a game arcade, swimming pool, and fire pit for roasting s’mores. We alternate geographical locations each year, but when it is time to return to Bear Lake, we will definitely rent this home again. Thank you Alvey’s.

We loved the place.

It was easy. You were very good to communicate with me on all my questions. The only reason I put a lower rating on the property manager is because I don’t think I ever talk to him unless you are the property manager also. I also need to ask you did I leave a gray skirt somewhere in the house. I don’t want it sent back this way I won’t keep looking for it if I left it there. Thank you so much for having such a nice place. And letting us enjoy it

An amazing property!

This property has a large main house with 7 bedrooms and 5 baths. A second, smaller home had three bedrooms and two baths. They share a huge driveway that accommodated our 9 cars and a truck and large horse trailer. (We didn’t have horses, just lots of lake toys). The driveway had a basketball court, and the owner allowed us to put down white Gaff Tape to create a regulation pickleball court. We brought our own net and equipment. The main house had a spacious kitchen, great room where all 27 of us could eat at the dining table and adjoining sunroom and deck tables. All of the bedrooms had televisions, and some of them had couches and games like shuffleboard or air hockey. The two car garage had been turned into an arcade room with all kinds of games, ping pong, air hockey, and a television with couches. Our grandkids loved this to play in when we had some free time. The beds and linens were extra comfy. The views were stunning! The kitchen was extremely well-equipped with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and serving dishes. Our only suggestion would be that the housekeeping clear out the pantry shelves, as there were a lot of accumulated food items from previous guests so that our space was diminished for our food. We didn’t have the heart to throw it out, but didn’t want to use it, not knowing how old it was, etc. The owner was very accommodating and accessible for questions. We will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful property

We had our 29 person extended family stay here for four nights. It is spacious enough for large groups - with places for people with all interests to go and have fun. There is A LOT going on with this property - and I didn't rate it perfectly because it wasn't perfect. It was good enough - but several of the games in the game room didn't work. Several areas that were not main traffic areas weren't clean. The listing doesn't exactly match the actual property. The host DID give us a floorplan upon request which helped us allocate spaces - but even this is not exact. Important to know ahead of time is that the cubby (room with clouds on walls) is entered through a ladder and a 3-4 foot square cupboard door. The listing says checkout is at 11:00 and the instructions in the house say 10:00. It really is a beautiful property and we all had fun. Jim was very responsive to our questions and concerns which we really appreciated. We had some pest problems that they are actively trying to take care of - but it wasn't totally resolved during our time there. I wish VRBO would have two separate classifications for pool and hot tub - on property and access to one. The pool and hot tub are at the clubhouse a 5-6 minute drive from the house. The private beach was not really usable due to high water - so that could change - but it wasn't useful for our trip. In short, we had a great time, but we did have to overlook some things.

Fantastic Spot for Reunions

My family and 4 other families stayed here for a friends reunion, and wow, what an amazing location and home! The house is large, no one ever felt crowded. The garage game room or guest house play room was often where we found our children playing. The adults either gathered around the fire pit for late night conversations or on their large sectional couch in the main house. The house has a few things they are renovating, but nothing was unfinished that was a hazard or effected daily living. I would certainly stay here again.

Great getaway!!!

This property was so beautiful. The views spectacular. The house(s) are in immaculate condition, new. We had our family, 28-strong. Accommodations were excellent. We all had excellent sleeping conditions. The kitchen was well-stocked. The kids loved the basketball, game room, and arcade. No bored kids! The back lawn accommodated outdoor games for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped.. Easy to rent, access to a private beach, spacious, beautiful rooms and large gathering spaces. We will definitely recommend this vacation spot to our friends. We will return!
