The ample space makes for a great location for gatherings. Amenities include WIFI, SmartTV's, Jacuzzi Tub, Patios for outdoor entertaining and more. Conveniently located near McConnell AFB, Spirit and Beechcraft, and a short drive to shopping and dining.
The space
This listing is 1 option of a 3 booking options for this home which can be booked separately or as a whole. Depending on what you book there may be other guests on the property at the same time but they will not have access to your space. Additionally there is a guest house ("Hidden Gem") in the back corner property but it shares no amenities with the main house or apartment. We want you to enjoy stay with us so feel free to contact us with questions or for details.
Guest access
Parking is available in the circle drive or on the right side of the driveway. The left side is reserved for the Garage Apartment guests.
Other things to note
The King Suite is referred to as the Main House and largest portion of the King Estate (which is available on Airbnb "King Estate with Mid-Century Loft"). The King Estate includes the Main House and a self-contained Garage Apartment (available on Airbnb "Comfortable Apartment & Kitchen") that can be accessed through an adjoining interior door or through a private exterior entrance. Depending on what you book (King Estate, King Suite, or the apartment) you will enjoy that entire space. NOTE: If the King Suite is booked, there may be other guests in the apartment but they will not have any access to the Main House or its amenities.

Large Roomy House

We were in town visiting family. It was a great place to stay and gave us all a little get away from the bigger group activities in town. Loved the Asian market next door.

Amazing venue and hosts!!!

This was an overall incredible experience for my my friends and me for a get together. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed all the amenities. The hosts were fantastic and excellent with communication. I would highly recommend!

We meet up with a group a friends and their kids just to relax and hang out (6 adults and 8 kids). We had the best time and the place was perfect! We would definitely book again!

Very lovely and spacious!

There were seven of us staying here and everyone was very comfortable. All of the rooms were spacious and we really enjoyed ourselves. Marjorie was awesome to work with! We will definitely rebook if the opportunity comes again.

Massive house at great price

This house has a great layout with plenty of room for everyone. There was plenty of space and lots of nice rooms for folks to gather. Towels were a little sparse and we ran out of garbage bags but there was a nice community pantry and a fully loaded kitchen.

Recent Stay

The property is older but well taken care of and has nice furnishings. The host is extremely thoughtful, had snack and jello pudding packs for kids, q tips and cotton balls in the bath, cereal dispenser, coffee brew pods etc. Host gave phone numbers and responded to any questions.

Lots of space

We very much enjoyed staying at this home. We appreciated the plentiful space and the personal touches from the hosts. They were great to work with. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, spices and coffee. They have made it very easy to move in and have a functional space to call home. Would happily stay here again.

Lots of Space

The home has lots of space for a large group of people. Plenty of bedrooms that are separate from each other so people can spread out. The courtyard and deck are nice gathering areas as well as the living room. I do wish there were more chairs in the dining room and ice in the freezer.

We were in town for graduation. The house was large enough to host a graduation dinner with friends and family. Plenty of seating and space for everyone to spread out. The owners was very responsive and accommodating.

Family Reunion

Property was large enough for our whole family which was great it was nice to have everyone under one roof. Very disappointed in the state of the yard. Very unappealing to sit outside. We made the most of it and had a great time.

Fantastic House For Our Team

I found this home to house our team for a local ice hockey tournament. It was perfect for all of us. We were all able to have a bed and the layout worked great for us. The house was very unique and the owners were a pleasure to work with. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We plan to use it again next year!

Daughter’s wedding

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and all of her family and bridesmaids were from another state so we needed a large place for all of us. This house was perfect! With the many different gathering spaces in the house it never felt crowded. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. Would recommend this house for your large group!

Spacious

The owners were very responsive and the home had all the space we needed for our family and visitors as we gathered nearby for our wedding. The location is convenient to main needs. The only complaint family had were the floors left feet dirty and not enough cleaning supplies, example the sponge was vary worn out.

Bridal Festivities

This house was PERFECT for our out of town family and friends to come together and celebrate my brother and soon to be SIL! The inside was extremely cute and the perfect backdrop for pictures and hosting, plenty of beds for the whole family to stay, and the backyard offered a great space for us all to fit and hangout!i Definitely recommend and will be back when visiting Wichita! It was my first experience using Vrbo and we happened to be the first reservation for this property via Vrbo, so it was a new experience for both me and property owner. A few hiccups along the way, but excellent communication back and forth got us through it perfectly. Jerry & Marjorie were totally great.

Fun fun

We felt the house was very spacious and clean we were very well accommodated. There was issues in the kitchen/dinning room the back door let a lot of cold air in (drafy) the metal plate on the lower north wall for the radio system does not fit flush with the wall therefore letting a lot of cold air into the house this made it too cold to sit in the dining area. There was some complaints about the towels being very thin and leaving lint all over the body. Other than that everyone was so pleased with our stay.

Wedding

Spacious. Clean. Workout room. Stocked coffee bar, snacks, portable fans, condiments in the fridge, laundry soap, 2 washing machines, 2 dryers, comfortable beds. Great communication with owners. We didn’t want to leave. Rented for myself, my parents and other family who flew in for our wedding. It was perfect where everyone had their own space but an opportunity to be together. Would definitely recommend. Neighborhood is not the best but once inside you’d never know it. 10!

Great place for a larger family gathering

We were in town for our son's wedding and had family from several different states coming in. This house was perfect for our needs with 9 adults and 1 child. It is split level so it was a little challenging for our older family members who don't do well with stairs. Lots of space to spread out.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The space was clean, spacious and well equipped for a large family gathering (pictures don’t do it justice). Our hosts were so amazing and flexible. They were beyond hospitable and absolutely made our stay in Wichita better than any other place we’ve been before. I look forward to booking with them again!

We are a culturally diverse family doing our best to live the American dream. My husband Jerry is a retired Marine and we have two teenagers Jaden and Sherro that are the center of our lives. We have always wanted to have a vacation rental so when Jerry retired in 2020 we began looking and eventually found the one.
