Enjoy rest and relaxation in our charming beach condo!
Recent 2021 renovation following hurricane Sally with new paint, new furniture, etc!
Designated parking space in front of steps [ you will find a parking pass in the unit.]
Two bedroom, two bath, spacious condo. This condo is perfect for couples, families, or girls get away.
Washer/Laundry on site.
Located near the Gulf restaurant, The Florabama, etc!

Other things to note
Throughout 2023 construction work is taking place on the south end of our property. Direct beach access will be blocked during that time. Beach access is a close 4 min. drive east to Gulf State Park - Alabama Point East (they also have public restrooms and a parking pass is required). Another nearby public beach is Cotton Bayou, just a few minutes East of our condo.

Fun stay

Overall was a good experience. Floors are pretty nasty though . You can’t walk barefoot without black feet very quickly . I understand the moisture from the water but the furniture always feels wet . Great location . Good beach access.

Ben was great. New property being build next door made direct access from condo to beach a little harder but for the price a short drive was easy.

The property was nicely updated and a short walk to the beach! It was a convenient location to local restaurants. There was quite a bit of noise from the busy road beside the condo, and it was very easy to hear guests moving around in the condo above us. The condo seemed clean overall, but we did find chewed up food under furniture a few times, and a piece of glass in one of the beds under the sheets.

The house was dirty. The baseboards were nasty. Food on wall. So much dirt under couch.

We had 3 vehicles with us, one was in 43. Had one next to us guest. We'll we had a note telling us to move that car because it was in way of garbage truck. But it was in guest parking. The condo drunk. Smells offal in bottom cabinets. The curtain on shower is nasty. Needs a washer machine. Through carpets are nasty. Under the couch is nasty. I do not think glass tables see windex, more like wet rag. It needs walls, curtains, cabinets, furniture, bathrooms cleaned really good. So dirty and smelly. Stunk in kitchen. Neighborhood is great. Location is good. But cleanliness is bad. You need to have it professionally done or get rid of house keeper. You want good reviews, not bad ones.

Jimmy, I just read your review and I am shocked! Why did you not tell us about any issues during your stay? I'm sure we could have found a way to make your stay better! P.s. there is only one assigned parking spot for this unit & the spot next to it is indeed not for parking so that the trash truck can access the dumpster...

Definition of Beach Front and pool access

The place was nice and comfortable. It is not on the beach but is a good hike to the water. The pool was loaded with sand and dirty water. It is surrounded by high rise condos and rarely gets sun. Not usable during our stay. I guess I expected to walk out the door onto the beach and that is not how these units are set up. The place needs some maintenance. The bath fan did not work . The tub/shower needs update, and the faucet was coming off the wall. The outside hose was turned off or non functional. The patio sliding door took 2 of us to open so I cleaned the tracks and lubed it. Not sure if the dishwasher cleaned anything. Unit does have the advantage of a shady patio and the traffic noise drowns out the pesky sounds of the surf. Ha ha We had a great time but will do much more research before booking anything like this again.

Everything was as stated. I go down 2 to 3 times a year for fishing and dining. This is a good place and I've actually stayed in this unit twice now.

Not my place of choice

the yard was a mess and the driveway was awful, (Big holes and uneven) and it was by know means an ocean view. the place needed deep cleaning and the rooms were uneven also. Go up a slight hill to the master bathroom and in the kitchen and dining area it's up and down flooring. We were told that we would get a refund for cleaning the place and we have not received it yet almost a month later. The place is way over priced. Did not realize what was going on.

Thank you for your detailed review. I want to address a few things here: This place is MUCH cheaper in 2022 than nearby properties because of nearby construction, which is clearly addressed in the listing. I urge everyone to read the entire listing before booking. No guest of ours (we have several condos here) has ever complained about cleanliness - but Richard said the cupboard cabinets and glassware was not clean enough so he cleaned it & requested a refund. Of course we obliged and sent a $250 refund right away. Unfortunately, we found we could never meet Richard's expectations - but be assured, there is no "slight hill" to go up, just an uneven floorboard. We had approved the discount so quickly, VRBO never even sent us the full booking amount, but netted the discount against it (totally fine with us). Yet Richard has followed up numerous times about their discount - which is either still being processed by VRBO or the tenant may have never been charged the full amount. Overall this stay was challenging for us as the landlord. I believe Richard may not have hully embraced the concept of renting a vacation place "from owner" (i.e. when they asked about a check in desk etc). If you consider booking a stay at our condo - please read the other reviews as well or send me a direct message so we can answer any of your questions. Thank you!
