We loved our stay

We loved our stay in fact we bought dinners from Wal-Mart and stayed in the villa most of our time there. The nights were calm we will definitely be back

Won’t make a return visit or recommend to others

We were told it would be ready early, and she would call and never did. DW was leaking upon arrival, was taken care of but delayed checked in. Bath towel was used by the workers and left on the counter. Floors were dirty throughout, microwave was dirty inside, hook/screw on bathroom wall was loose and hanging out, coffee maker didn’t work, no kitchen towels or dishrags, window ledges were filthy, lint filter on dryer was completely packed - fire hazard, Parking was unclearly marked and very inconvenient. Hardly any dishes or utensils for cooking and eating. Lawn chairs would be nice on main deck. Deck adjacent to the villa is very unsafe. Condition of the Villa clearly did not match up to our expectations based on description and photos on VRBO. Had we known, we would not have rented to begin with.

Cute place strange view

The good: The property was very clean. Very cute and a decent place to stay for a few days. There was a pool and restaurant on premise. The unexpected. The photo on the listing looked like we were getting the blue house that was next door. It had a wider porch than the one we got and with 2 kids I felt a bit anxious that someone was going to fall in. The view wasn’t shown in the photos, but it is in an industrial area. So not what I was expecting. There wasn’t too much to do other than the pool. I was a little confused because usually there are check out instructions and I didn’t really know what to do with the towels and bedding. We just washed the dishes and cleaned up the trash. I’m used to a list somewhere. So all in all it was a good experience..

Misleading

The property is a nice RV grounds. The Bar is comfortable and the food was delicious. Staff were helpful. However the Floating Villas are outdated. Our Villa for the daily price had warped floor boards in the kitchen, utensils were missing, cooking utensils were very cheap, pots and pans were old and beat up, the toliet in the master bedroom had issues every evening and ended up flooding the bathroom and section of room to spare bedroom. A dishwasher was there but not given any dish detergent, a washer and dryer in unit but no washing powder. I will say though the manager was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of. Would I return.... yes with our RV I would be glad to return as it truly is more for the RVers.

We loved the floating villa! We had one snafoo when the septic started to back up, but the rectified it immediately. Fred the alligator was so cute!

Would not stay again

The first night the front commode backed up the kitchen sink backed up and it was hard to go to sleep for the smell of sewage all night long. There was a roach in the kitchen sink one morning. The cabin is not the one I thought we were getting it was not clear on my reservation. There was not enough towels for a four day stay. We paid for Wi-Fi but there was no Internet access so the Wi-Fi did not work. It was a rocker and an ottoman in the living area and when you would put your feet on the Ottoman the screws would just fall out of the bottom of it. While cooking supper one night I’ll drop something on the kitchen floor and when I was cleaning it up the floor was black, so the floors had not been cleaned well. My child found someone else’s night mask under one of the couches.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The following are noted for helping to improve the property: In the second bedroom: -Ceiling Fan is not working -One of the light bulbs in the smaller bathroom is out in master bedroom -Light in ceiling not working -Master toilet does not flush well Other -Upstairs windows unlocked -Door lock broke and we were not able to use our key cards on Monday evening (so it was good the windows up top were unlocked so we could easy push a window open and climb in. This is a security risk though, so I locked one window and kept the other as found - unlocked) -in general the place was dirty, the carpet, the fridge (so sticky had to clean one of the shelves in the sink with hot water), & the floors (large items on floor under edges of counters and beds). Thank you for the kind support staff.

Floating Villa

So happy to have found this place. It was great to sit out with the cool breeze in the evening. We slept so well. We will definitely stay here again the next time down this way. It is great to be able to have this relaxing place to head to after the being in the French Quarter.

Loved it!!

It was amazing. The home was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on top of the house under the stars having dinner. If we go back, I’d stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay was a good first experience on a house on water sleeps 4 adult comfortably I would not recommend 6 adults unless you bring a air mattress as the sofa bed is real uncomfortable Close to attractions Parking was close not far at all
