The pictures on website may have been old. Please donât waste your time renting this unit. It was so bad that I couldnât stay. Too many problems with unit to list.
We were pretty pleased with our stay. Location is great. The size of the house was perfect for our group of 6. Rooms were nice and beds were comfy. We had an issue with the AC when we first arrived, and communication with the host was easy and he had it taken care of promptly. The only thing missing were any extra linens. We each had 1 small towel for our 5 day stay. No washcloths, hand towels, bath mats, kitchen towels,, paper towels, or extra toilet paper. Overall, we had a very nice stay.
Wonderful home! Renovated inside and very roomy. My friends and I were extremely satisfied with our stay. Communication with the host was great and easy! I would definitely book here again.
There were no hand towels or wash cloths. Water and ice on refrigerator door not working. We had no air conditioning the first day but it was rectified on the second day.
The listing was misleading. There were only 4 usable beds instead of the listed 5, which caused issues for our group. The daybed lacked sheets, no twin or futon, and the room had no privacy. Some rooms had no AC or fans, and others had remotes with no batteries. The yard and firepit were overgrownânothing like the photos. The home was also not cleanâdirty bathrooms, stained sheets, and an unusable kitchen. We had to buy supplies just to feel somewhat comfortable.
Damian was very accommodating with our check in and check out process. The neighborhood was a little rough but there were no disturbances and we had a good time overall!
This was a quick stop before leaving on a cruise to check out Tampa, so we wanted to stay by the city. Unfortunately, the house had some issues that we could not overlook. The main one was that I was looking for a house to sleep 10 adults. The one bedroom had a twin trundle bed and not a twin double futon. I am not sure if the bed underneath was considered the other twin bed, but itâs part of the trundle bed. I did not see a futon anywhere in the house. We had to pull the bottom bed out from the trundle and put it in another room for one person, and the other slept on the couch. FYI: my adult children are all under 6 feet and not overweight. The flooring is falling apart in the main area, and the backyard was pretty much unusable. There was a nice updated kitchen, and it was close to downtown Tampa and Ybor. The host was nice, but we were there for about 36 hours. It wasnât worth the time to see about taking care of these issues. I know the host has no control but the neighbor has a floodlight on all night that conveniently shines in several of the bedroom windows.
This home was totally perfect for us. Accommodated 8 people comfortably. We did have 6 teen girls and they travel with pillows and blankets which was helpful. But plenty of space and pillows. The home was clean and welcoming. Newly upgraded with some cool things. We went to Bush Garbdens which was about 15 mins away so all in all it was a quick stay in a great cool place. Thanks Damian.
Booking and check in was simple. Physical appearance of home was appealing but the surrounding neighborhood not so much. Music was blaring a few houses away. My biggest complaint (no fault of host) was the black pesty cat. Iâm allergic and terrified of them. It made me late to my event because it wouldnât leave the door step đ€Šđœââïž. The inside of the home was clean and host provides some toiletries. Bathroom door latch is broken. The actual area had sketchy people out late at night and people laying around at bus stops. This particular street wasnât so bad and next door neighbor was nice but donât plan on going for a walk/jog.
We stayed here for my wedding weekend in Tampa, and it was a great central location for everything we had plannedâeasy access to downtown, SoHo, and Ybor. The inside of the house was very clean upon arrival, and there were plenty of beds and couches to accommodate our group of bridesmaids. However, there were a few downsides worth noting. We ran out of toilet paper on our last morning and found there were no extra paper goods or trash bags provided, which was inconvenient. The towels available were limited and not great quality, and several fan remotes were missing batteries. We also noticed stains on some of the mattress pad covers, and the backyard was in pretty poor condition. Additionally, the keyless entry lock didnât work properly with the code, so we had to rely on the keys in the lockbox every time.Overall, the stay was manageable and served our purposes well, but a few improvements would really elevate the experience.
Beautiful property that was amazing on the inside. Cozy but spacious at the same time. Really enjoyed our stay and thankful for the opportunity to stay at a beautiful home.
This home is literally a piece of history. We have restored the home to its former glory. We have attempted to keep its character as well as add a flare of the modern and chic. We have a 4 beautiful bedrooms with 2 fully renovated bathrooms. There are 3 massive TV's, a real life pinball machine and an xbox with games. We are also in the middle of everything. Downtown, ybor, restaurants, nightlife, channelside, busch gardens and beaches to name a few are only minutes away.
