The Zen Den is a bright and open, fully renovated private suite with a Scandi design and boho accents. This suite works wonderful as home base, regardless of what brings you to town.

Located between West Hamilton, Dundas, and Ancaster, the suite offers easy access to Downtown, McMaster University + Medical Centre, St Joes, Ham General, Mohawk, and the West Mountain.
Several of Hamilton’s top trails, waterfalls, and local breweries are nearby. Toronto and Niagara Falls are both ~1 hour drive.

Living Space:

The open-concept living area features bright white walls, wood accents, and comfortable furnishings. A mounted flat-screen TV with Roku is positioned across from the sleeper sofa. The space is perfectly optimized for working remotely, powered by ultra-fast, business-grade 563 Mbps Wi-Fi—perfect for seamless Zoom calls, streaming, and heavy data uploads. The space is well suited for relaxing or working remotely.

Sleeping Accommodations:

The suite sleeps up to four guests (best suited for up to three adults).
- Bedroom: Queen-size bed with side tables and reading lights
- Living Room: Sleeper sofa with upgraded memory foam mattress (double/full size)

Kitchen and Dining Space:

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, dishes, cookware, and basic condiments. A large island with seating for four provides plenty of space for meals, takeout, or casual dining. A small dining table with seating for two to three is located between the kitchen and living area.

Bathroom:

The suite includes a private three-piece bathroom with a large tiled stand-up shower. Full-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion are provided.

There is a full-sized, in-unit washer and dryer—fully complimentary for our long-term and monthly guests.

Outdoor Space:

A small side yard near the private entrance offers seating and fresh air. An enclosed outdoor seating area is planned for a future update.

Guest access
Electronic smart locks will allow you the convenience of contactless keyless check-in. Your unique code and the guest manual will be provided on the night before your reservation.

Details to help your stay run smoothly:

This is a lower-level suite. Despite regular cleaning, occasional insects may be present.

Bedding for the sleeper sofa is provided automatically for reservations with 3+ guests. For 1–2 guest bookings requiring extra bedding for the sleeper sofa, please notify us in advance so we can ensure the linens are ready for your arrival. Do not use the sleeper sofa without proper bedding.

Maximum occupancy is 4 guests, including children. The suite is not childproof. The sleeper sofa has a full-size mattress.

No unapproved guests or parties. This is strictly enforced and may result in removal from the property.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to cleaning schedules.

To ensure your ideal indoor climate, the suite features dedicated tower heaters so you can completely customize the temperature to your personal liking during your stay. Instructions will be included in the guest manual.

For security, the property has exterior cameras, noise monitoring, and signal detection.

We do love welcoming your furry family members, but pets must not be left unattended unless well-behaved, kept off furniture, and not prone to barking or noise. Cats must not scratch furniture or climb things. Guests are responsible for any damage.

The Zen Den is one of two units within a quiet shared property. I am available and responsive if any issues arise.
