Welcome to Historical Washington Park in Winston Salem! This home is minutes from the Baptist hospital, shopping, restaurants and Washington Parks other charming characteristics! This makes it perfect for a traveling nurse, family vacation, or anyone wanting to stay in a historic Bungalow! Located in a quiet neighborhood, this home features memory foam mattresses, goose down alternative comforters, a peaceful patio with fenced in back yard, and wonderful breakfast nook for those lazy weekends!

The Space:
This home is close to several coffee shops, Baptist Hospital, and some great restaurants! Shopping is also not far!

We designed this historic Bungalow with a modern appeal! This creates an incredibly comfortable and cozy environment that just works!

Guest Access:
Guests can access the backyard, washer and dryer, street parking, and the entire rest of the home!

The Neighborhood:
This home is located on a quiet street just outside of the hustle and bussle of the city! Close to everything yet far enough away to stay out of crazy traffic and keep your commute enjoyable!

Getting Around:
Car is the best form of transportation in this area and Uber is very accessible when going downtown if you do not have your own personal vehicle

Other Things to Note:
This home is the perfect mixture of character and coziness. From the minute you walk in, the soft colors and decor will be sure to relax you and make sure you have a wonderful stay!

Interaction with Guests:
I am available by phone call 9am-5pm and text message 24hrs a day. I live about 15 mins from this home so am nearby to help with any problems or concerns our guests may have!

Good value for the money but needs some work. Bath tub doesn't drain properly and exterior needs some cleaning, especially the back screened porch. The pillows on the chairs were filthy. Also the trash can out front was full upon our arrival.

Great Location

The location was very convenient to activities in the downtown area. Also, the home was very comfortable and in a nice area. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would consider this home again in the future.

Adorable Old Home

This house is super cute with a great old house feeling. We were very comfortable and there was ample room for our family of four. We even played board games one night that were on site. A decent distance from downtown, and a nice safe neighborhood.

Just what we needed

The house was a good size, very pretty and welcoming. It was very clean. The mattresses were a bit hard, but that might just be a personal preference 😊. It had all the amenities we needed, kitchen supplies, plenty of bath towels, pillows and toilet paper. It is a quiet neighborhood very close to downtown. It suited our needs perfectly.

Best place in Winston Salem!

We adored this house - probably the most comfortable rental we’ve ever stayed in. Very spacious (other rentals we’ve stayed at in this area were much, much smaller). All of the furniture was so comfortable, the beds and the couches were great. We travel with our two dogs and rarely find a house with a secure (not chained link) fully fenced in yard, but this house did. The stairs from the patio to the yard were too steep for our older, less agile dog, but thankfully there are also stairs inside going to the basement which are a little less steep and so she used those instead. We will definitely stay again!

Not what we expected

In the area for a soccer tournament we arrived at night. It looked like someone had just left or was still there with beds a mess and the other main areas looking messy/disheveled. We were a bit creeped out tbh and ended up checking the entire property to make sure it was empty. The attic was creepy but the basement was worse - stuff in the washer, a dead mouse in a trap and a car with keys. So I contacted the owner and ended up having to wash the bedding from the beds and tidy/clean up, found some bedding for the kids that was clean and we had brought blankets (the washer adjusts itself so it takes ages - we were up until after 2am). The owner repeatedly offered to have the house cleaned when we were out and it just felt like they weren’t getting the issue until I had to be blunt and say that that would be intrusive since our belongings were there and also futile since I had already cleaned and asking why I had paid such a high cleaning fee (they refunded the cleaning fee but still not really the point). The area is great and we want to return but the stay was not the break I had hoped for and the whole stay just felt off. We’ve rented in many states through other platforms and this is the worst experience yet. We rented the next weekend of the break and it was a whole different experience with everything clean and well thought out and a direct number for the owner. I wasn’t sure about reviewing negatively but it feels untruthful not to.

Great location, it made for a wonderful weekend. We went to Old Salem, enjoyed many of the local eateries, all while throwing strikes at a bowling. Tournament this weekend haha

I will start with the positives because that is what attracted me to this place. The neighborhood is lovely, the home is nicely decorated and spacious, and the location is convenient to people that we were visiting. We stayed here once before, earlier in the year, and had problems with cleanliness and standard home supplies. I gave them a good rating, trusting their assurances that the problems were not their usual standards and would be addressed for future guests. Now I am one of those future guest and I found cleanliness and preparedness to be even worse this time. For the SECOND TIME, barely a few squares of toilet tissue were on site, hair was in the master bed, ants and hair were in the tub, and black mold was in the bathroom and stairwell. Management arranged for toilet paper and hand soap to be delivered the following morning. However, this did not adequately address the recurrence of the issue. I was assured that the mold would be properly removed after we left (earlier than planned) but these assurances are dubious.

Super cute bungalowin a quiet neighborhood with a great park!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was lovely and the location was really nice! The streets are very walkable and everyone seemed friendly. We were only in town for a few days for a wedding but we even managed to make it to the Cobblestone Farmers Market on Saturday morning. We took several walks through the park and had fun exploring along the creek! I would definitely recommend this location for a rental to just about anyone!

Lovely stay

We had a marvelous week in this comfortable home. Its in a quaint and quiet neighborhood conveniently located for access to many attractions and sites and just up the street from the beautiful Washington Park. We hope to have another chance to stay.

Safe Neighborhood

This is a small, older home, located on a quiet street in a safe neighborhood. Convenient to the Convention Center, which is why we rented. The home was big enough for our party of 6, although 1 bathroom was challenging. Living room furniture was white fabric and dirty. Not the best option for a rental. Ants. Some bedding was stained and dirty pillowcase on bed. Outlets wld not hold plugs. Children’s toys thru out house….on outdoor porch, in drawers and under beds. Advertisement photos did not show all steps and ended up being difficult for my elderly mother to climb. Communication was good and check in process was easy.

Historical Bungalow

This is the second year we have stayed at this location and it’s always pleasant. Minutes from downtown and other attractions! The house is clean, beds are comfortable, Wi-Fi is fast, and everything works!! I would highly recommend this location to anyone!
