La pêche à la mouche de la truite sur la rivière Elk n'est qu'à quelques minutes !!! La crique sur la propriété se jette dans la Big Spring Fork qui forme la rivière Elk.

3 km de l'entrée de Snowshoe's à la base et du parcours de golf .. Belle maison en rondins sur 9 acres à louer par le propriétaire. Creek avec cascade sur la propriété. 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains. HOT TUB privé! DSL Wi-Fi!
Très facile d'accès contrairement à certaines maisons de la région.

Peut accueillir 6 adultes et 2 à 4 enfants sur des lits superposés et un lit de repos (plus de 8 personnes perdront votre réservation). Téléviseur à écran plat 50 pouces avec système de cinéma maison. Apportez votre iPod ou votre lecteur MP3 car il existe un système de haut-parleurs pour écouter vos morceaux préférés. Grand style Cheminée Lodge. Enroulez autour des ponts et du porche couvert. Très privé et confortable. Pour ceux qui ne peuvent tout simplement pas s’échapper, nous avons le DSL WIFI ... dans l’espoir de passer à la fibre optique à haut débit cette année.

Pas de vérifier est nécessaire parce que leur est une boîte de serrure à clé et vous garer juste devant. Les draps sont inclus dans toutes les locations.

Sites / Activités sont Golf, VTT, randonnée, pêche à la mouche. Kayak, NRAO, chemin de fer panoramique de Cass, rochers de Seneca, bouton en épinette, Blackwater Falls et bien sûr en raquette! Senecas Rocks et Blackwater Falls sont une bonne route, mais en valent la peine.

Chains Facile d'accès, mais 4 roues motrices ou de neige sont fortement recommandés pendant l'hiver dans le cas d'une grosse tempête de neige .. Court 10-15 minutes en voiture des pistes.

This was our second time at the Moose Lodge. Very clean and the view is wonderful. The Snowshoe region is our favorite area in WV, the hikes on the Scenic Hwy are beautiful. We had perfect weather all week. Jim is an ecellent host, always responds quickly. We highly recommend a stay at this cabin.

AMAZING! Hot tub was awesome, location is quiet and beautiful, the deck was lovely, kitchen had all we needed. It was great - highly recommend! The only issue - which is not the host’s fault - there is no cell service anywhere around there so print out driving directions! Your cell’s gps wont work for about a 30-minute radius of the home.

Can't beat the hot tub with the views!

This was by far the best airbnb we've stayed at. Very accommodating and clean. Jim was very quick to answer any questions we had.We were a group of 6. 4 adults, 2 kids & 2 dogs. There was plenty of space for all of us. Dont forget to check out the little waterfall on the property. Its not a far hike at all. The trail can be easily missed if you dont know its there.If you walk down from the firepit toward the hot tub & turn left theres a partially mowed path. Keep following the path to the forest. Youll hear the water. The views were spectacular! The sun sets over the mountains in the backyard which was pretty to see.Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Great place. Would have gave 6 stars but we had issue with WiFi. If that’s resolved we definitely be going back. With an area with zero service we got have WiFi for our jobs. Loved it

Memorial Day at Snowshoe

Another family getaway up the mountain for Memorial weekend 2025. The cabin was well appointed and located just the right distance away from the activities our family enjoys most. Hot tub has an amazing view of sunset. Owner very responsive. No complaints or concerns; thanks for a great visit!

Great location and fully stocked

Nice and clean. Plenty of trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper which is always nice. Good easy distance to Snowshoe. If they get snow before/during your trip I would recommend 4WD. Great stay thank you!

Fantastic stay

This adorable cabin is picturesque and a fantastic hub for your snowshoe adventures. Easily view wildlife like deer as you drive or walk the area and sip some coffee as the sun comes up over the mountain. The kids loved the bunks and being dog friendly means our boys were comfy there too. The host was lovely and tried to prep us for everything we needed for the stay.

Mountain area

The cabin had everything we needed to cook and sleep . We came late in October so a lot of restaurants weren’t open n snowshoe . The drive to cass was beautiful and train ride was awesome . Would do this again but when places are open to try local food.

Charming Cabin

A groups of college friend and I booked this charming cabin for a long weekend getaway and we loved it! Very comfortable beds, very clean and modern kitchen, wrapround deck with gorgeous view. The wood burning fireplace and enormous stack of firewood were most welcome during the chilly nights and mornings. The waterfalls weren’t running much due to the drought and I would love to see them when they are full flow. The privacy of the property was much appreciated….it felt like we were deep in the country although there are neighbors down the road. I would book this charmer again….I wish Pocahontas County were closer for me but we picked as a central location for all of us traveling from several states away. I’m imagining the place in other seasons, particularly in winter when there is snow on the ground. Snowshoe is just down the road!

Great Cabin

We loved the cabin and the neighborhood. The view is beautiful and the property was a lot of fun to explore. We visit WV every spring and fall and we'll be looking up this cabin again for future stays.

Family Vacation

Nice place to stay. Very quiet and secluded. No view, like the photos show, because of tree growth on the property. That was disappointing. The trail to the falls had a tree down right at the entry so could not walk to the falls. And, the other access had grass grown up so preferred not to walk it. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels and washcloths. Mattresses old on queen and double beds but tolerable. It is 30 minutes from Cass RR. And about an hour and a half to 2 hrs from a major town like Elkins and Lewisburg. We would stay there again.

Vacation in WV

We had a very nice stay at the cabin. We stayed 3 nights. The cabin was furnished very nicely and so quiet. We were only about 11 miles from the Cass railroad and some great hiking at Snowshoe a few miles away. The cabin was relatively easy to find but hidden away enough to have very private surroundings. The host Jim provides a very nice package of information about the cabin and the surrounding area that is very helpful. We look forward to visiting again. Perfect get-away

If you are looking for a quiet place in the mountains to unwind and unplug, this place is for you. The view is spectacular, cabin was clean with fully stocked kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Beautiful area, bring snow chains for driveway if ice and snow are expected

We enjoyed our stay in the property. The king size bed is on a loft that has no door, it is in the same room as the bunk beds (no privacy). There are no curtains on the windows so you’ll be up with the sun. The cabin is in a beautiful area with wonderful views. It was little more rustic that we expected, there are lots of water stains on walls logs and beams, but it was dry and well heated. There was a lot of snow while we were there and the driveway is steep. I have a 4 wheel drive SUV and got stuck at the bottom of the driveway. I had to shovel the driveway and break up a lot of ice to get out, it took a couple of hours. After that experience we parked at the top of the driveway. The beds were comfortable, the linens were nice, towels were good quality and plentiful. The hearth is in need of repair and the fireplace could use some updating. It was functional but made the house smell like a campfire. The WiFi was fast and reliable, water pressure was good and water was hot. Jacuzzi w worked well. Water from the tap was a little cloudy, we stuck to bottled water for drinking. Some of the drawers in the kitchen need repairs. It met the needs of our family of 6 and was reasonably priced compared to the top of the mountain resort options. If staying in the winter months I definitely recommend snow tires, 4 wheel drive or chains. The neighborhood approach and driveway would be a problem for regular cars and trucks.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I love Snowshoe for it's beautiful mountains and lots of snow! It's the best resort in the Mid-Atlantic. It's worth the drive! Our cabin is located in a very private subdivision that is only 2 miles to the entrance and 10 minutes from the top of the mountain.

Creek with Waterfall on property. Awesome view of a the mountains and a pasture. You can go sledding in the back yard in the winter and exploring/hiking during the summer.
