Why waste time? Stay close to American Fork Canyon with awesome rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking just 5 minutes away. Visiting family? Why bunk with your nephew when you can rent your own place and escape the drama! The bunk room used to be two bedrooms and the living space is generous, so even if you have a few people you are not crowded. This unit is the entire upstairs with no shared spaces. A quiet family lives downstairs and just had a baby so please plan to respect the quiet hours between 10 PM and 6 AM. The mountain views from the back yard are fantastic, and the location is perfect if you need to be close to Alpine, Highland or Cedar Hills.
This is what you rent when you want to be close to family...
... and want to have personal space. It's a great house, very conveniently located next to the highway and close to my family. It's clean and we had no problems with anything.
We booked the property for 3 nights but needed to extend our stay. The host was very accommodating and gracious. The home is very clean, comfortable and well kept. It was well supplied with everything we need for our stay. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dog. She loved exploring. We wouldnât hesitate staying here again.
We enjoyed our stay at this was a great little vacation rental! It had everything we needed for our vacation. I especially loved that I could have all the kids in one room. While there were a few hiccups with checking in, our host was quick to resolve the issues. We would stay here again!
The house was beautiful and everything was well appointed. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels and toilet paper for our party of 6 adults. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through Salt Lake City.
We really enjoyed this property. The backyard is huge and our dogs loved running around. The house was clean and we felt safe and secure during our stay. The view out back is of mountains. We contacted the host once with a question and he promptly responded. I would rent this property again!
I had an amazing stay here. I spent several days hiking different trails along the Alpine loop, and I appreciated how close it was. The large, enclosed backyard was also wonderful for my dog.
We enjoyed the opportunity to stay at this property. It was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do and just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. We got to see deer in the back yard, take a quick drive up the canyon and spend quality time together as family. The house was set up very well and met all our needs.
The bunk bed room was so much fun for our kids. We had everything we needed and they were so accommodating for us when we ran into booking troubles through the site. Thank you!
The house is nicely decorated and has all the necessities. It would be a perfect location for a family to stay.
Perfect instructions and excellent communication with the host.
We stayed here for a 7 nights. We really enjoyed our time here as it was close to everything we need/wanted to do. Great location, sufficient amount of space, nice yard, clean house, nice neighbors below. The only thing I'd suggest is to provide steak knives and paper towels.
The location, layout of the house, and amenities were perfect for what we needed. Itâs very cozy and we loved the addition of the games provided. The bunk room was huge and fun for our group of all ages. Thank you!
We took our Phoenix, AZ family on a family vacation up to see some real snow in Utah and we were not disappointed. The house was just as described and the view out the back door was breath taking. The kids loved playing in the snow in the large front yard. The location was great for accessing the other location we intended on visiting on our stay.
It was great and had everything we needed. Comfortable and cozy. It's close to shopping, main roads, and plenty of great Utah things to do, even if you never make it to SLC, including Thanksgiving Point, American Fork Canyon, Traverse Mountain Outlets, etc.
Our stay was good. We arrived on Christmas Day very late so when we needed to find groceries the next morning it wasnât too hard. There was plenty of cozy blankets and room for my family. Itâs close to the canyon for exploring. Parking was easy and the location was not hard to find. The view from the back window was beautiful as the sun was rising.
It was a great little spot with a comfortable layout and great view. My favorite room had to be the back room with all the bunk beds. I didnât stay in there personally but I always found myself gravitating towards it and hanging out with my friends. Highly recommend this location!
I hate to start with the one and only negative but I want to make sure that the reader knows. There's a downstairs tenant and strict quiet hours! My group was a group of 8 moms looking for a local get away and we had a blast! The place was beautiful and clean. It was close to food places, snowshoeing in the mountains and a spa retreat. (All activities we had a great time doing while we were there!) The owner was very kind and quick to respond to a repair to the garbage disposal. The beds we comfy and the kitchen was well stocked!! We had zero complaints except that the downstairs tenants came upstairs at 9:45pm and told us to be quiet because they had a sleeping baby. (We were playing Pit, a loud game). The reason we wanted a house instead of a hotel is because we wanted to stay up late talking, laughing and having a great time with out worrying about disturbing anyone around us. This house was not the house for that. That should have been written more prominently in the listing. I went back to see if it ever even said that there was a basement tenant and it's hidden at the end of the listing. In my opinion, when you have a tenant that has a little baby you need to disclose that in the introduction summary. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
I'm sorry to the owner and the tenant. I know we were a loud group.
We had a great stay! The house made for a comfy base camp for 4 adults and a dog, and the fenced in back yard was great for sitting outside in the sun while the pup stretched her legs.
We love living in Highland and everything about this great corner of Utah County. Whether you like the city, the mountains or if you are just visiting family, this house is the perfect basecamp for your adventures. We live very nearby and will do everything we can to make your stay perfect.
