Right on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Yachtsman Resort is an oceanfront treat that won't break the budget! You'll be in the heart of everything--restaurants, amusement parks, and bars are all at your doorstep.

The space: This is an efficiency suite / studio apartment with 1 queen bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. There is one full bathroom with a whirlpool tub, a full kitchen and dining area. Please note, there is NO BALCONY, though the photos give the illusion of a balcony. Parking and Wi-Fi are included.

Guest Areas: Enjoy the beautiful patio with heated outdoor pools, hot tubs, a children's pool, shuffleboard, and a picnic area with BBQ grills. If it's raining, take advantage of the indoor pool. The activities desk offers access to discounted tee times and tickets to area shows and attractions.

Other things to note:
Please note: the Yachtsman requires a $200 Refundable Security Deposit upon check-in. The security deposit is refundable after an inspection of the room is completed, after check-out.

Great view

Location was amazing views of the ocean and beach. Location was great close to everything some noise associated with the boardwalk and street but tolerable. Check in was difficult due to number of people checking in at same time but was a very busy Labor Day weekend.

Studio on the Beach

Great - Great Views and nice location. Property was a bit dated. Especially the elevators, however we loved everything else. Was me and my husband which had plenty of room!

Great little place

Overall a great little place to stay! Air conditioning wasn’t working on day one but a quick trip to the front desk and they had someone at the room before I even got back to the room for the quick fix. Only flaw was the bathroom vent fan wasn’t working. Great location and actually plenty of parking (3 lots) right across the street. Walking distance to anything your heart can desire.

The location was great the hotel staff was great like any other seasonable property could use a lot of update the location is great and the staff was excellent audio. It needs some updates on the inside and outside. If they just put a little money into it to be a very nice place they got the right staff.

JUST VERY DATED..THE FRIDGE HAS RUST IN IT AND THE PLACE WAS DIRTY..THE ONLY THING WE LIKED IT WAS OCAN FRONT..WE WILL NOT EVER REBOOK AT THE YACHTSMAN..THIS WAS NEVER DISCLOSED IN THE ADD OR WE WOULD HAVE NEVER BOOK THERE..IT USED TOO BE ONE OF THE BEST BUT THAT WAS 30 YEARS AGO..NEVER AGAIN

There was so much dirt on ceiling fan we didn’t turn it on for fear of it going all over room. Blanket in closet stunk like it was never washed. Carpet dirty, furniture with rips and stains.

Great ocean view, but room was shabby. Tub jets in room didn't work. Toaster didn't work. Room was cold and only 1 extra blanket, but staff was quick to get heat turned on. Lots of smokers on premises, in corridors and by elevators.

The ocean view was beautiful. The room was ok but could be better. There was much room but then the bed was small and in a tight spot that made it hard to get in and out of. I appreciate everything but was not impressed and will not stay here again

The property was very dated. The stove and refrigerator had rust in various places. There was an odor near the refrigerator which was near the door to the unit. The bathroom was ok, but rust around the bathroom door and the bathroom door did not close properly. The ceiling had peeling paint in several spots throughout the unit, including bathroom and around the sliding glass door. Outside the unit the entry area was shabby looking and around the elevator was not very clean. The property could use a makeover. The parking was a block over in a shared parking garage but at least it was not an additional fee. The location was great though, on the pier at the ocean. So much to do around the property and everything within walking distance.

Very loud every night since right next to karaoke bar. Also tv did not work the entire time. However, room was clean and had a very nice view of the ocean.

Weekend getaway

We spent a long weekend in the condo and it was perfect! Has everything you need and right on the strip. We walked every night and were in the middle of all the action.

Great Location

Location was great. Walking distance from multiple “to-dos”. A park and walk location. We did have an issue with the door lock that made us have to switch rooms on the last night. Staff was friendly and treated the situation with a sense of urgency, but was still inconvenient. For the price, great value and I would stay again.
