Welcome to Deer Ridge! Dog Friendly, 2 Bedroom and 2 Bath - sleeps 6.

Union County STR License # 032204. Beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom cabin which sleeps 6 comfortably and has a fenced in yard.. Deer Ridge has a Wood burning fireplace for those chilly evenings and a gorgeous Mountain View.
Free WiFi and Smart TV’s in the living room and all sleeping areas for your enjoyment and a large selection of DVD’s, board games and cards for fun family time. Enjoy our fire pit for making s’mores or sipping a glass of wine after a day out or relax in the Master bath jacuzzi.
Deer Ridge is filled with lots of special touches to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.
Full kitchen with coffee bar, microwave, full size fridge and stove/range. Seating for 8 at the dining table and a comfy reclining sofa and loveseat in front of the wood burning fireplace. The main floor bedroom is a queen with adjacent bathroom that has a combination tub/shower. Washer and dryer are also on the Main Level. Upstairs master has a king bed with en-suite bath including jacuzzi tub. Lower level has a comfy sleeper- sofa and a set of bunk beds with a trundle for sleeping. The “Doggie Den” is located downstairs which is two built in kennels for your Pup’s comfortable stay when you are out of the house. (Bowls for feeding and water are available as well).
Minutes from downtown Blairsville but convenient to Murphy, NC, Helen, Hiawasswe, Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Nestled between the Chattahoochee National Forest and the Nantahala National Forest there are lots of choices for outdoor activities including hiking, horseback riding, tubing and biking. Deer Ridge is located near Lake Nottely for kayaking -and boating as well. With several golf courses within a short drive - bring your clubs! If you enjoy visiting the wineries - there are so many to choose from nearby! And did we mention spas? Yes, several amazing spas nearby.

The frequent deer visits were quite a treat! The home is lovely and well decorated with great amenities. The staircase to the Master bedroom was a bit challenging for older folks, but the accommodations were comfortable. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us.

The Cabin was well equipped top to bottom. Didn't need anything. Location is excellent as well as very safe and quiet. The hosts were quick to communicate and helpful. I highly recommend this property. Pet score is a 10!

We loved the location and area and was so easy to get to town. Very peaceful area and this home was well stocked until one could get to the grocery store. Loved sitting on the screen porch and watching the many deer go by. The kennels in the basement was a great addition as well as the fenced in area.

Terry is a phenomenal host! My family and I throughly enjoyed the house and we would definitely be repeat customers. The house was also in a great location that made it very easy to navigate the area. Great place!

BEst TIme! Great place!

This cabin was wonderful! Every thing was thought of...extra razor, extra q-tips, prepackaged laundry pod & dryer sheet, spices, even prepackaged smores!! Host had great communication, definitely went above and beyond!!! Will be back, next time with our aussie (dog) because the dog amenities here are incredible too!,, Dog blanket basket, extra bowls, kennels, etc...

Family getaway

The property was clean, neatly organized, and as advertised in the description. The host had a notebook with all the required information and even an escape plan in case of emergency. The host was responsive and friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Location

The compliments are numerous. The location is quiet and secluded, yet close to downtown Blairsville. Extremely clean and homey. We will definitely be back with family. The large home is excellently decorated with all the amenities you could need. We have rented numerous cabins all over Georgia and this property is now on the top of our list. The owners are to be complimented on their beautiful home, reasonable price, timely communication and fantastic location.

Blairsville bliss

Clean and family friendly. Our beagle loved the fenced in yard & kennels. We loved the dog friendly hosts. Kids, parents & grandparents appreciated the special amenities & treats. Host communication was thoughtful & kind as we visited on the coldest weekend of the year. Host provided weather updates before we arrived to help us pack accordingly. Lovely cabin & great stay! This is a great place for a family vacation

The cabin with EVERYTHING!

We absolutely loved this cabin. The hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful. The cabin was super clean with little surprises left around for the guests. The kitchen was well stocked and the coffee bar was a nice surprise since we drink alot of coffee. They had a coffee pot and Keurig with a great starter variety of coffees, creamer, sugar etc. We had our 2 miniature Schnauzers and they had dog bowls, dog blankets and 2 LARGE kennels on bottom floor if needed. The fenced backyard was perfect and safe to let them run around and do their business. The master suite was huge with a large shower and bathroom and very large walk in closet. It was cold and rainy most of this Thanksgiving week which was perfect for us. We cozied up on the reclining sofas with our "people" blankets, the dogs with their "puppy" blankets (both were provided) and watched movies and football or read next to the fire. Perfect! The neighborhood was super quiet and the houses far away enough for privacy. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this holiday getaway! Will go again!

Awesome place to stay

We had such a lovely stay! The cabin was a lot bigger than we were expecting from pictures and everyone had a great time. We loved all the screened in porches and the gated area for our dogs!

Perfect for our dogs

The house was exactly as described, conveniently located to everything. We visit this area often and this was the first time we had brought our dogs, and the house was set up perfectly for them. We had a minor issue while we were there, but the host took care of it quickly. The master bedroom and bath were very nice and the mattress very comfortable. We were very impressed with how stocked the kitchen was. Normally, when we vacation we have to buy most of the basics but they had EVERYTHING!

The PERFECT getaway!

This was our first experience with non-hotel lodging. This cabin did not disappoint. Everything about it is perfect: location, decor, amenities
just everything! It’s close enough to so many different places to explore, but remote enough that you truly feel all alone. The hosts have gone above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. Even if you bring pets (we didn’t this time), they have ‘pet blankets’ and ‘people blankets’. Only a true animal lover would do that. We didn’t get to enjoy everything about the cabin since the rest of our family couldn’t make the trip, but there will be a next time for all of us. Thanks so much for providing such an amazing experience for us!

We had a wonderful visit. The place was perfect for us and our two dogs. The location was beautiful and convenient to visiting Blairsville and Murphy NC. We hope to enjoy it again sometime!

Perfect place for us

We have such a hard time deciding if we should bring our dogs with us places or leave them home. But this place was amazing. The two crates made our travel so much easier. Less stuff to carry. The bed was comfy it was an overall great experience. We will definitely recommend and come back. Oh and just be mindful, it’s a bit of a hill to get up the driveway. Other than that, it’s great!
