Lovely and very spacious home with convenient location. Walking distance to town as well as carnival grounds. Back deck, big eat-in kitchen and 5 bedrooms. House will sleep 12. Linens and Towels Provided .New for 2023 Outside shower with hot and cold running water . 7 Night Minimum. LINENS AND TOWELS PROVIDED . Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid. If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We so enjoyed staying at this home. It has great space and allowed our entire family of 11 to stay in the same home. The long dining table was a huge hit. We had all meals together and played many games over our 7 days. The location made walks to downtown very easy. The quiet neighborhood was pretty awesome as well. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Limited quantities of larger rentals for large groups make this one a standout.

Annual Family Reunion

Another great week at Chincoteaque. A family event that started in 1883 with three people has grown to a family of 12. It is hard to find a 5 bedroom house on the island.Great house,great time.

Not what we expected

This property is managed by an island rental company, so we were expecting high attention to detail. This house could be great as it sleeps 12 and has a private hot tub which is hard to find in a house rental in Chincoteague. Here are the issues we found... 1. The hot tub was broken. No one informed us at check in. I called the morning after check in to report that it wasn't getting hot and was told "you should have been informed at check in that it's not working. We are waiting for a part". This was super disappointing as we were all looking forward to the hot tub and it was the main reason we chose this rental. 2. We had to bring our own linens and towels...this seems to be a trend on Chincoteague Island that I find no where else. I've stayed in a LOT of Vrbo rentals over the past 20+ years and this is the ONLY area where we have to drag along sheets, blankets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, dish towels, and dishcloths. This property upped the antenna by requiring us to bring our own pillows blaming covid yet had numerous throw pillows throughout the house that I'm sure are never washed. 3. The property was dirty. One king bed was missing a mattress cover (they did have someone bring a cover and drop it off after I called and told them the following morning). My issue wasn't so much no cover but the fact that the mattress was covered in multiple urine, blood and who knows what else stains. Just disgusting to see when taking off the comforter to make the bed on arrival (with my own sheets btw). I didn't even want to put my sheets on it but had no choice 4. Continuing with the dirty theme, there was 2 inches of dust on every blade of the ceiling fans. What was clearly a booger stuck on a bedroom door, something brown on the wall of one of the bathrooms across from the toilet, cobwebs in corners and light fixtures, dust bunnies in every floor corner, the list goes on. The fridge /freezer reeked of seafood so bad it made all open food and ice taste horrible They have written instructions stating that all floors must be swept before departure or there is a risk of losing security deposit yet the place wasn't clean on arrival. To add insult to injury, the only thing to sweep with was a swiffer thing (no broom) and the dustpan was cracked so very hard to get dirt swept into it and keep it there until dumping in the trash. The house was an overall disappointment and we won't be staying with Harbour Rentals again when visiting the island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year in a row we stayed in Accomac Apple. We love that for our group of 11 we were all able to sit down to a meal together. The weather was more conducive to hanging outside in the evenings, so the adults enjoyed sitting around the fire at night while the kids watched movies. We did still battle ants a bit, but not much. Overall, we had a lovely time.

Nice space, great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in a great location. We really liked the yard and outdoor space even though the hot tub isn’t there anymore. Loved that all 11 of us could eat together in the dining room. Living room was comfortable and spacious. However, ants and ant traps were all over the kitchen, dining room, and front hallway. Appreciated working at insect control, but not thrilled to deal with ants throughout our vacation. Only other complaint is that the bed we slept on (only queen mattress) was extremely uncomfortable. Overall, we liked the home and would stay again, especially if they get better mattresses.

Reviewer Comments: Had some issues with this house, when I booked it said it had a hot tub but it did not and this was one of the reasons I booked this house. the outside shower only had scalding hot water no cold at all. The shower never did get fixed even though I went to the office on Monday morning. still was not working on the last day.the house was very clean and there is a ton of room.

Only drawback area are the stairs everywhere), in case you have young or old that dont fair well with multiple levels. Didnt get to utilize outdoor features besides the shower due to the state bird mosquitos. Traffic is light thanks to only a few houses on the street (dead end). Close proximity to downtown area. Loved our stay and cant wait to come back to Accomac Apple.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect. For our girl's trips we rent from VRBO all the time, and this was the best house hands down. There are so many little thoughtful things in the house to make the stay that much sweeter. Clean, decorated, plenty of room, whimsical, perfect, quiet location within walking distance to everything. We had a slight problem with the hot tub, the management company (Bonnie) was amazing, she handled everything immediately and with professionalism and grace. This is now our must stay place for our annual pilgrimage.

Spacious and so comfortable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everybody who walked into the house said something like "Wow, it's so big! There's so much room!" We loved the long dining room table where our group of ten could all sit for dinner, and we could set up board games. Everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was equipped for any cooking we wanted to do. We were in easy walking distance of the attractions in town, and the beach was just a short drive away. We definitely want to come back.
