Pelican 305 @ Destin West Bayside is a 2 bedroom plus bunkroom condo that sleeps 10 and is newly updated and back on the rental market. Be the first to stay in this condo that has always been a popular condo that books quickly.

Condo details:
--Master bedroom has King bed and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and jetted tub. Large walk in master closet . There is also a fold out sleeper chair (twin sized).
--Living room has walk-out to the balcony with amazing views of the lazy river and garden area and sleeper sofa.
--Guest room has Queen bed
--Bunk room has twin over full bunk bed.
--Every bedroom has it's own mounted TV with DVD player.

Kitchen is complete with everything needed to make meals for your family. Complete with cookware, baking dishes, dinnerware, silverware, Keurig and a regular coffee pot, crockpot as well as several other small appliances.

Washer and Dryer in condo.
Wifi included.
All linens and bath/kitchen towels provided.
No contact check in.
Parking included.
Charcoal grills in picnic area.

Enjoyed our stay. Convenient to elevator, parking, lazy river and across bridge to beach. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had pots n pans n tools to use for meals. There is a wagon n some beach items for kids to use.

We love Destin West! The unit was perfectly adequate for us. We were bummed that we can't use the onsite fitness room anymore, and it would have been nice to know that upfront. The beach wagon and toys and chairs was a nice plus.

Good location, excellent pools

The location was great and the pools were very nice and well maintained. The condo itself was a good size and had good appliances and newer furniture. There were a few elements that were not so ideal: 1) the floor was absolutely filthy 2) the outer door to the balcony was very hard to open and didn’t lock 3)they provided limited paper products and trash bags

Place was in decent shape. Had an issue with some doors and was able to get fixed next day. 1 level up from pool. Kind of a process to get to the beach from this building- down elevator, go to diff building and up elevator, bridge to cross street, down another elevator to walk to beach, but the room had a wagon and 2 chairs, so that was convenient. We had a good time, and the condo was a good size for our 5

Perfect stay

The condo is exactly as pictured. Plenty of space for 10. The resort is perfect with everything you need and more. Location is 5 mins from Destin, 5 min walk to the pier, and you can rent pontoons next door at Ricks for a day out at crab island.

Wonderful Vacation

The condo was okay however, the dryer takes hours to dry any clothing. The outdoor amenities are worth the stay. We love Destin West and will return.

Condo unit 305 is very clean, undated furnishings, comfortable beds, the kitchen is well stocked and the appliances all worked properly. We had a great time here and would stay again!

The pool & lazy river are the selling points

Overall we enjoyed our time. A few things to note: the unit could definitely have been cleaner. Our kids feet were completely black within 10min of walking barefoot when we first arrived. The curtain rods are questionable so be careful when opening and closing the curtains. There wasn’t a lock on the patio door leading out from the primary bedroom and the lock to the patio in the living room didn’t work. The condo needs towel hooks or over the door hangers as there was no where to hang towels. we went and bought one because with 8 people (6 adults, 5yr old, 18mo old) showering and going to the pool/beach it was absolutely needed. Be sure to bring or buy basic seasonings like salt/pepper if you plan to cook. Beware of the large step over from the living room to balcony; lots of stubbed toes and stumbles for our little ones. I’d say anymore than 6 or 7 adults would def not fit in this condo bc it was pretty tight quarters. The pool are however was absolutely amazing!! We loved the amount of chairs to choose from and spent lots of time in the lazy river. Walls are super thin so noise will absolutely be heard until at least 10:30-11pm. Not sure we will ever return to this resort but overall we have always loved Okaloosa for our family vacays so we will be back.

Great Get Away!

Friendly and helpful staff! Loved the lazy river and the pool after a day at the beach! Loved the beds - so comfy! The bathroom was large enough for 3 teens to ready in! Great closet - I loved the laundry basket! Bring towels with you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
