This location is perfect to relax with boutique shopping and eating on Ram Cat Alley in downtown Seneca only 2 blocks away, zip over to Clemson University (10 minute drive to the stadium) and catch a game, or drop your boat in Lake Keowee or Lake Hartwell and float to your heart's desire. This quaint, historic house has been updated for comfort keeping the original charm in its peaceful location just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet but close enough to reach any number of shops.
Everything was lovely. We had a very nice stay. The owners were excellent with communication in the midst of the aftermath of the hurricane. Grateful for a safe and nice place to stay.
This was a great, reasonable place to stay for our Parents weekend trip to Clemson. Nearby. Town of Seneca is old but nice. Can walk to Ram Cat Alley for Brewery, coffee, bakery and a few shops/restaurants. Overall, it's a dated little house, but fit our needs well (it's like a small grandma house). It could use some modernization, but not enough that its any problem. However, the bathroom is pretty small. Tree-lined yard gave good privacy on two sides. Freight train nearby does run with some frequency and a loud whistle. It is not a destination house/location, but a great alternate choice compared to Clemson hotels.
We came to this lovely home for a Clemson football game. The 2 bedrooms were nice and clean & the house was always comfortable. We enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table while watching football on the tv!
Attention Clemson parents! So much better than a hotel! Precious house, no loud football fans coming in at 2am! Close to Clemson but without the bottleneck. Cute, clean, local art on walls, will rent again.
