Beautiful property with a beautiful view of mountains and lake right out the front door. Very comfortable accommodations - large master bedroom with large kitchen. We would definitely stay here again! The freeway is across the lake but we could not hear it at all in the house. Beautiful front porch to sit out on!
Such a lovely place with many amenities including an espresso machine which started our day in a wonderful way! Incredible views with home set in front of a lake and huge mountains surrounding the home! Hosts were accommodating in every way - would definitely visit again
Amazing lake house cabin in a picturesque mountain town thatâs easy driving between Grayâs/Torreys Peaks and Red Rocks. Owner is very friendly and responsive. We will be back. Owner does live in the unit above and the house is framed so you will hear some noise.
We enjoyed this cabin so much. It was both a relaxing, serene vacation stay as well as rich with local amenities such as hiking, white water rafting, restaurants and close to Denver for a city vibe. The place was clean and outfitted with what we needed but the BEST part was the lake and the morning/evening views from the porch!
Beautiful space, well appointed, gorgeous location. The entire first floor of the property is included, with a walkout front porch opening to Georgetown Lake. The owners were very sweet and attentive!
We stayed here the first week of May. There was still snow on the trails near the house, so pack accordingly. The property was clean and all of the appliances worked. The neighboring brewery was the perfect place to stop after a day of adventures. We were about 40 minutes from the Coor brewery & red rocks and 30th minutes from Frisco & Breck! The Mountain Views and the lake were beautiful but I70 is right there. Overall, we loved the space and location!
The home was as advertised. Very comfortable, easy to access, easy to check in and check out. The kitchen was beautiful, well stocked and very functional. So many comforts included in addition. Thank you to the owners. This was a perfect place for two nights as we passed through the area and explored historic Georgetown. We would definitely stay again!
This property and the host are both amazing! I would caution people considering staying here that the bed in the master bedroom is probably the hardest we've ever slept on because of it being a memory foam mattress with little to no give. Also, keep in mind this is located on the first floor of two-story cabin and the fulltime residents are upstairs so it can be noisy at times. Other than that great location and very nice space.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. We planned to come up with another couple but it was only the two of us. The listing was a bit different than we expected as it said that we should park in front of the guesthouse. The guesthouse is actually a finished basement walkout in the main house. The owners live above the unit and quiet time was at 10pm. If we had come with friends, we most likely wouldâve played cards and stayed up late. As it was, we were worried about even having the television turned up after 10pm. The term âguesthouseâ for us has always suggested a separate, stand-alone unit. This was our expectation. That is literally the only bit of construction suggestion we would offer the owners. The place was lovely, quiet (couldnât hear the highway at all), clean and just a couple minutes from town. We would visit again knowing the limitations of the space if traveling with other friends.
We loved staying here. Katya gave us a great experience and went above and beyond to ensure our group was comfortable. Beyond accommodating and thoughtful with all the amenities provided! Gorgeous location by the lake as well.
Colorado was my home for the last 16 years. Both my husband and I have traveled the world and think small mountain towns in the Rockies are real treasure.
Relax on the front porch facing the lake with your first cup of coffee or BBQ after a day of hiking, biking, fishing or skiing. It is hard to belief you are only 40 min away from Denver. Inside you will find two comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, great kitchen with high-end appliances and open space living room with dining area.
The lakefront property is just a few steps from several trails. Start your hike or bike from the doorsteps. In the winter ski Loveland is 15 min away. You are close to all Georgetown restaurants but in a very private setting on a lake. Denver is 40 min away. Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Winter Park are 30-50 min away.
