IU campus is a short 10 minute drive away.

Home is in secluded portion of neighborhood next to park with playground, large creek, and the Bloomington paved trail system.

Extras include: kids play room with toys, office with two monitors, playhouse in woods, dining area looking out over the park, large patio space, and wifi.

The home has a tankless hot water heater, so you will never run out of hot water.

Pets may be approved to stay for an additional fee. Please message me to discuss the details. Unapproved pets will result in an additional charge.

Home has a number of stairs to get into the home. Split level home with stairs.

We have a doorbell camera located on the front door that points towards the street. This camera records audio and video 24/7 when motion is detected and is for the safety of our guests and property.

Comfortable and Nice Location

The house was comfortable and well stocked. I especially appreciated the location, with the living room looking out towards the park and a warm centrally located fireplace.

Nice spot for parents visiting IU students

The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owner communicated well. Just a short drive from campus, the location works well for visiting IU. The only challenge was a single shower, but that's only a minor inconvenience.

Family visiting daughter at IU

Beautiful and open home. Retro style which was enjoyable and fun. Gorgeous lot which was close to walking trails. Easy Uber access to downtown. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home, Perfect for a Family Weekend

This house is exactly as the pictures seem, beautiful, well-stocked, convenient, and in a gorgeous location. Bruce was incredibly helpful and accommodating and he made our Homecoming weekend in Bloomington absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area.

Great place for IU events

We really enjoyed our time here. We xame to see our sons who go to IU and for a basketball game. A short car ride to campis and a freat place to hang out.

Beautiful Birthday Surprise

It was a gorgeous house tucked back in a peaceful spot. We loved the location of the house and all the wildlife that would visit. It was easy to communicate with the owner as well. We would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place around here.

Quick Getaway

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay in Bruce’s place. It looked great online but we didn’t realize it would be perfect for us! The location cannot be beat with things to do. The house was clean and my kids loved the toys and kids bedroom. Bruce was so generous in anything I asked. I would recommend this stay 100%.

Bruce was great to work with. Easy to check in with the automatic keypad. Just touch the black box will light up. Nice comfortable beds.

Wonderful Place To Stay

Bruce was a wonderful host and very communicative. The house was clean and ready for our arrival. He provided many extras including water bottles, play toys for the children and snacks as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The house is next to a municipal park, which was great for the 2 children in our group. Highly recommended, especially for families.

As good in person as the pics

When I see pictures that are this well lit on VRBO I am pretty skeptical about filters and editing. However the place looked just as good in person. The natural light was wonderful, we enjoyed watching squirrels and birds on the deck, and we even got to see a few deer. If you are going to Bloomington to go to the bars this isn't a great location. We weren't doing that so we loved it. For all other purposes this is a wonderful house and the host was responsive whenever we needed him.

Lovely Home on a Beautiful Property

This was one of our best experiences as a family, staying on a VRBO property. I highly recommend this lovely house especially in the winter to make use of the fireplace! Bruce has some very beautiful birds visiting his property as a result of his carefully placed and fully stocked bird feeders. We were visited by some deer as well! Just down the road is a delightful walking trail along a creek and if you like playing tennis, the tennis courts near by are well maintained and open to the public. I highly recommend this property!

Making the College Drop Off Easier

We were delighted by this property, it's location next to a beautiful park with walking trails, tennis and more, the cleanliness of the house, the large windows providing lots of natural light and more. We were 3 families dropping our freshman boys at Indiana University and the pleasurable stay made it easier with a comfortable home base from which to launch them. Our host, Bruce, couldn't have been more accommodating. He never nickel and dimed us - as some hosts in the area have - when it came to things like an early check- in or an air mattress. Needless to say - I highly recommend this property and host!

We'd love to come back

Stayed on property for a funeral weekend. Home is well appointed with high end appliances, every conceivable kitchen tool/gadget/dishes/glassware. Toys for kiddo's, work space for "work at home" types, and great location. Peaceful and quiet but close to everything. Would love to come back for a football weekend and something fun and use the fireplace! We didn't have enough time on property to burn this visit. Thanks for all you did to make a challenging weekend go smoothly!

Peaceful

We were in town for an IU football game. This location is about 10 min from the stadium. 2 adults and 3 teens. The layout is exactly as described. There is a very cool 360 degree fireplace in the middle of the living room. Bruce had dry wood and starters stacked and ready for us. Views of the park are great during the day. There is bike and walking paths 100 yards from the front door. Tennis and hoop courts and a decent sized play lot. Bruce was great to deal With. The property is great for a family. Might be tough for couples as only 1 shower bath but it’s clean and while We didn’t use there is a great outside deck and grill also over looking the park and preserve.

Bird lovers' paradise

This is a lovely property in a wonderful location. We enjoyed watching the wide variety of birds that frequented the feeders on the deck and the family of deer that strolled by most days. The house is well stocked. I brought several items "just in case
