We absolutely loved our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and this property was one of the cleanest we have stayed at. Great location with easy access to the pool and Purgatory activities. There were plenty of towels and beds were very comfortable. We will be back!

We go to Purgatory every summer to enjoy the weather and the summer activities on the property such as the inferno roller coaster and alpine slide and scenic chair lift. However this year all the activities were shut down including the family room at the resort and all the restaurants on site. It was basically a ghost town and the host failed to notify us of the closures. This is terrible when you bring kids along and everything is shut down!

We do want to clarify for future guests that Purgatory Resort’s summer operations do not begin until Father’s Day weekend (around June 20th), when their seasonal activities, restaurants, and amenities officially open. We understand how disappointing it must have been to arrive expecting those offerings to be available, and we sincerely regret any confusion or inconvenience this caused during your stay. Your feedback is important, and we will continue working to ensure guests have the most accurate and up-to-date seasonal information before arrival. We appreciate you staying with us and hope we have the opportunity to host you again during the resort’s fully open summer season so you can enjoy everything it has to offer.

Durango Ski/Snowboard Fun

Great summer vacay!

There are fun activities on property and the weather is amazing-about 10 degrees cooler than Durango. Durango activities are an easy 10-30 minutes away from property. Kids enjoyed the alpine slide, mountain rollercoaster, and lake activities.

Great time

Came here for the fourth year in a row and stayed at this place for the first time. Love the location and the convenience to all the amenities in the village. Access to the restaurant, bar, and breakfast was awesome. Family and friends had a great time together.

Ski in ski out Spectacular!

Fabulous condo with plenty of room! Gorgeous views and so very comfortable and cozy. All the extras that made it the best condo we have ever rented for skiing. Very convenient and literally right at the bottom of the main lift!

Location, location, location

Staying in the main lodge was great - take elevator down to private locker and exit to lifts. In the evening children came out to ride sleds. Heated pool and hot tub. Slope views from all windows - great family lodging and vacation.
