The Building is the early Milltown post office. It is fully renovated and every surface brand new. Just 1 block from Cave Country Canoes and steps away from the beautiful Blue River. All one level, 2 private bedrooms and baths. Large open Kitchen and living, sleeps 6 with the sofa beds. The Building has a vintage vibe and brand new comfort. it is features art and furnishings from the river area and is a paddlers dream. Nice outdoor Patio. Down town but quiet and private. Great location for fishing, walks and riding bikes.
This place is perfect! Was close to marengo cave and walking distance to cave county canoes. The people are extremely nice and welcoming. The history of the bungalow was interesting too.
Nice unique, cozy property. Very comfy bed, nice fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Great outdoor sitting area with a grill and fire pit. It was very relaxing.
Loved the two bathrooms and walking distance to Cave Country Canoes. Convenient parking right next to the building. Really nice to have the washer and dryer after coming back from being on the river. The patio had a little fire pit and cute sitting area. Milltown is a very small and quite town. There is a little market but we preferred to pick up things in another town. Wished it had a dish washer, but overall highly recommend and we would stay again.
Blue bungalow is a great place to get away and really rest in a quiet town. We enjoyed our stay and sweet treats from the local coffee shop. The bungalow is very clean, has charming decor and history, and is well supplied for just about anything you need. We will definitely return and stay again sometime!
This quaint bungalow is a hidden gem! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay! And the outdoor patio is perfect for spending evening time together. We enjoyed the Indiana Caverns and Wilstem safari during our weekend getaway. I will definitely stay with Sherri again, if I am in the area. You wonât regret booking this place.
This was a great location to stay while exploring the caves, Corydon and O'Bannon Woods State Park. From the adorable outdoorsy decor to the included kitchen amenities, the bungalow did not disappoint. Easy communication with the owner who was even amenable to an early arrival. The canoeing place was closed during our stay, but we can't wait to come back to do a canoeing trip and stay here again.
Property is well maintained --comfortable --We were visiting relatives - so we did not get into the area. I imagine this must be a fun place when the canoes are operating. For us - it was quiet and peaceful - Just what we needed! I would rent again!!!
Itâs perfectly snuggled in an area with lots of outdoor activities to do. We checked out the caves on a rainy day. We wanted to kayak, but weather wouldnât let us. No biggie- plenty of other things to do. Louisville is not a far drive at all, went to a music festival and checked out an abandoned insane asylum.Highly recommend this place! Super adorable and perfect.
We visited the caves of southern Indiana. This place was just a short drive away. Home was just as described. Cute, clean and in a quaint town. River just down the street. Only negative (which wasnât an issue) was that it is located next to an abandoned building that was boarded up and seemed scetchy at first sight and a liquor store next to that. But we did not have any issues and enjoyed our stay. Homeowner was very responsive!
Had short notice of my grand daughter's baby shower. Needed a room in a part of Indiana that has sparse locations for an overnight stay on short notice. Went great. Plenty of room, clean. Unique.
Iâve been wanting to stay here for awhile and glad we did! It is so nice to see an old building saved and turned into such a well detailed retreat. It was clean and well decorated with just about anything that you would need. I really enjoyed the photo album of the remodel and the historic documents.
The property was so unique and well appointed
I had a difficult time leaving. I felt so comfortable here.
Derek and Sherri have partnered with great friends Emily and Tony to renovate the once abandoned building located downtown Milltown. The four of us love to travel and do all things outdoors. We are often involved in activities around Blue River
This property is just steps away from Cave Country Canoes and the Beautiful Blue River. Milltown has a rich history and laid back life style. The property is very close to Hwy 64 but off the grid and very quiet unless it is canoe season. Then the Bungalow is just a short distance to the public access, Cave Country Canoes and all of the summer activities they offer.
Out door activities close, Central air and comfy beds, not camping! Milltown is very walkable and a great place to ride bikes. you can walk to Maxine's grocery, Blue River liquors, Cave Country Canoes and the river.
