Beautiful condo and property

Very clean condo, beautiful place. Only issue we had was not to donwith the condo itself that we rented rather with the other condo owners. There were some comments made and questions asked that made us feel unwelcome I would not rent here again because of this/them. I rarely used the pool and bbq area as is, but would habe used more if I didn't feel uncomfortable. Thank you to my unit owner for renting to us. You have a beautiful condo and great location. Quiet with short walks to many restaurants and bars.

Condo Nice-Management of condo Extremely Lacking

Very nice condo, unfortunately prior to arrival we had difficulty with Vallarta Rentals specifically Sara Garcia getting information. Sara waited to our TRAVEL day to send important Check In codes of which one of our party did not have a phone or international use. A normal VRBO you would receive written check in info in an email at minimum the day prior. Our flights were delayed by weather so arrival was late, without having the code to the outer door one of our group was lucky to make it in. Also lucky that the door was left unlocked to the condo to get in and the keys were left on the counter inside, no one from management was there. The WI-FI code luckily was given to us the next day by the maid! There was a problem with the hot water and was eventually taken care of 2 days later-I had 2 cold showers there. I could go on and on about the issues in communication with Vallarta Rentals. Here are tips-bring hangers only about 6 per guest, pool is NOT heated to 85 degrees more like 80 so expect it to be cold, only 2 sets of keys given to guests-make sure you get “working key” for pool/ground level, we had to ask for it as it wasn’t left for us one worked one didn’t. So many issues with poor management.

Very expensive but nice location

This unit, on the ground floor of the building, had positives and negatives. On the plus side, location right on the beach was superb. Short walk to shops, restaurants and everything great that Bucerias has to offer. Ground floor made access to the unit quick and easy from the rear entrance of the building. Negatives included a periodic smell emanating from the sewer system in the unit. Not uncommon on the ground floor of buildings in this region. Also, aside from the internet access codes, there were no instructions for use of various things in the unit, including the power shades on the patio windows. We went 3 weeks before someone from Vallarta Rentals came to show us how they worked. Seems insignificant, but with the sun streaming in the windows each afternoon, the living room was not very liveable. The daily maid service included in the rental rate was too much. I don't expect to have an outsider in my apartment for 3+ hours each day. It is intrusive and detracted from our use of the apartment. I felt we had to leave each day. No doubt this was part of the reason for the really high rental rate for the unit. The pool was out of commission twice -- the first time for over a week and the second time 3 days at the end of our stay. It may still be out of order -- who knows? This detracted from our enjoyment of the property and Vallarta Rentals would not consider a rebate for this inconvenience. In speaking with a number of the owners of units in the building they were shocked at the rates charged for our stay. We will not be rebooking.

The property was high quality; in an excellent location; breathtaking view of the ocean. My only concern was that the pool was not usable for about 4-5 days (pump broken) upon arrival and then when the pump worked, it took time for the murky water to clear up and it never did get to warm water to be considered a 'heated pool' - this was to be the highlight of our stay! Understandable that these things happen, BUT for the high price of the unit, it was VERY disappointing for us.
