We’re a family from Jefferson City, Missouri, and the Lake of the Ozarks has been our favorite place to relax and reconnect for many years. We especially enjoy time at the lake with our kids and grandkids, making memories swimming off the dock, kayaking around the cove, or tubing and wakeboarding on the smooth water at this end of the lake.

Our perfect lake day starts with coffee on the porch watching the sunrise, includes fishing or boating during the day, and ends with grilling out and enjoying a beautiful sunset on the deck.

We love being hosts because we enjoy sharing the peace, fun, and natural beauty of the lake with others. Whether you’re looking for a quiet fishing retreat, family adventure, or simply a relaxing getaway, we hope you feel at home here. We’re happy to offer local tips on great places to eat, scenic boating routes, or where the fish are biting!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our favorite thing about this part of the lake is how peaceful it is. Tucked away on the upper end of Lake of the Ozarks, the water stays calm and quiet—perfect for kayaking in the morning or an easy boat ride in the evening. It feels like a hidden gem, far away from the heavy boat traffic of the busier parts of the lake.

We love sitting on the front porch early in the morning with a cup of coffee, watching the water come to life with birds (especially the eagles!) and the occasional jumping fish and turtles. Afternoons are for swimming off the dock, fishing, or heading out for a boat ride to explore nearby coves. In the evening, there’s nothing better than grilling dinner on the deck and watching the sun set right over the water, often with the sky lighting up in beautiful colors.

It’s quiet, relaxing, and full of simple pleasures—exactly the kind of place where you can unplug, slow down, and make lasting family memories.

The cabin offers plenty of ways to relax together—with a spacious private dock, a wide deck for outdoor meals, and a cozy loft where kids love to unwind after a fun day in the water.

One of our favorite features is the grilling station right off the front porch—perfect for cooking up family favorites while enjoying the view and conversation. You can go straight from a day on the water to grilling dinner and gathering around the table together, sharing stories and laughs as the sun sets over the lake.

Evenings here are special: spectacular sunset views, quiet moments by the water, and the sound of family nearby. This isn’t just a rental—it’s a place where you can create memories your family will cherish for years to come.
