Villa 430E is located in a perfect position on the North Finger of Jolly Harbor on the southwest coast of Antigua. Jolly Harbor offers one of the best yachting marinas in the Caribbean as well as a very safe gated residential village.
This is the ideal location if you want to simply enjoy the outside life with access to the quiet and beautiful North Beach within a few minutes' stroll.
The property is laid out with the master and guest bedrooms with two en suite bathrooms on the upper level and kitchen, living/dining guest 1/2 bathroom on the lower level. A balcony leads off the Master Bedroom, with views overlooking the water channel and sunset.
There is a covered patio on the lower level , with an awning.
The property is a short drive to all the amenities of Jolly Harbor, including a large supermarket, golf course, swimming pool, pharmacy, numerous restaurants, bars and gift shops, and a full service marina.
The villa is equipped with all that you need for a perfect holiday in paradise. Anything extra just ask. Don't ignore click now and book! We can offer golf cart or car rental optional as well as a boat rental.
The villa was clean. Good location, nice and quiet. Close to the beach. The kitchen was not well stocked. There was nothing to cook with in the oven and we were advised to but disposable ones from the local grocery store.
It was clean and quiet with comfortable beds - a great place to spend nights in between activities. We enjoyed siting on the porch and eating breakfast - serene with a good view of the canal, sky, and boats. The landlord was thankfully at the property when we arrived to help us enter and to work on the water supply. While the water didnât work when we arrived, he had it running again within 24 hours. We appreciated the air conditioning, coffee pot, tea kettle, toaster, transformers, and washing machine! It was a trek to the property over numerous speed bumps. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Spending time with family was the best, however the villa was not as up to par as we'd like.
We ran into a couple of snap foods as the villa did not have enough cooking and eating utensils for a 10-day stay. There was many issues with the golf cart rental as they continue to break down on us about four times over. The villa said that it sleeps six, however, that is very inaccurate. It sleeps four comfortably. Antigua is a beautiful island and we enjoyed ourselves immensely because we were with family and we went on many excursions. Glad we only utilized the villa for sleeping purposes. The amenities could have been a little more accommodating.
Perfect size for two adults and two children. Bedrooms lovely size, nice furniture and air conditioning worked well. Fantastic to have breakfast on the terrace each morning with the peace and tranquillity of the water.
Very good location for the north beach - less than five minutes walk. Quite a long way from the pool/ supermarket etc but a 5 min drive.
Not much cooking equipment but we didnât need anything other than things for breakfast and to make lunch to take out so it was perfect for us.
Paul very easy to get in touch with. Useful to have a washing machine.
Plumbing a little bit hit and miss but no different to the rest of jolly harbour/ antigua in general outside the big resorts.
We would stay again and would recommend. We had a one year old with us and you do need to be aware of the stairs and balconyâs etc but they are fairly secure!
We enjoyed our stay at this villa over the Christmas holidays (Dec 2022). The villa was very clean and well looked after.
We had two concerns while staying there:
1-there were water issues, and we had to contact the property manager regarding the pump and coordinating with a water truck. Had it been visitors that didn't know about the pump/cistern/water system there would have been major issues. With the cost of the rental overall, I feel as soon as a call was made someone should have come by to make sure everything was ok and to ensure there was adequate water for the remainder of our stay.
2. The second issue was the supplies in the kitchen. While the villa was rented for 6 people, there were not enough plates, mugs, cutlery etc. for 6 people. We ended up using disposable items and pans since there were no trays for the oven and we were cooking Christmas dinner.
the photo of the front door in this review is not rhat of the villa we stayed in. The owner's instructions said to use the handrails on the stairs, but there none fitted.
But overall a very enjoyable stay, tgnx.
Our stay at this beautiful villa was unforgetable. For a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, it was spacious for a 2 bed and very comfortable. It had all the amenities we wished for. There was a small leak in the downstairs bathroom and Paul came and straight away arranged for a plumber to fix it. We will certainly come back and stay again. Already missing the sweet sound of the crickets in the evening.
Cost to stay was reasonable. Clean. Provided necessary amenities. The issues we ran in with our stay is that one of the AC units in the bedrooms stopped working and the washer was super loud. They were able to send technicians over quickly to fix the issues, but it shaved off hours of time we could've spend touring the island. Power went out 3x while we were there. It wasn't the fault of the villa owner, but was still inconvenient, especially when we were cooking dinner.
Iâll start off with the fact that it was truly a home away from home. While the house had most of the amenities needed, I found myself wishing that I had other things that I needed as well. Things like storage containers for left overs. And maybe a lounge couch so I could curl up on some nights. However, with that said, the pictures posted does the place no justice. It was actually cozier than I expected and I made due with what we had because we didnât come to stay in the villa but explore the area and the island.
We had an issue with plumbing and Paul sent someone to fix it fairly quickly. So, that showed that he was attentive and quick to respond. Definitely a plus.
Also, we walked to Epicurean supermarket a few timesâŠfor exercise. So, it can be done BUT, I HIGHLY suggest renting a golf cart for quicker travels to the area restaurants, south beach, as well as the gym, tennis court, etc. Ask for Randy, he also available for taxi service to other parts of the island. Fast! Reliable! Reasonably priced!
Overall, Iâd stay again with some tweaks and have already recommended this unit to loved ones.
My ONE biggest concern is that itâs secluded on the NorthsideâŠbut thatâs not a bad thing if thatâs what youâre looking for; itâs perfect. I hope that you all enjoy this gem as my family and I did. Happy Traveling! Enjoy Antigua! Thank you again Paul!
This villa is on the north finger of Jolly Harbor is a 5 minute drive from the entrance of the resort where there is a supermarket, pool and tennis courts. The villa is on the marina dock and a 3-4 minute walk to a secluded beach. The landlord was very attentive to any requests we needed. We even rented the boat on dock, which was very convenient. The place is clean and the location is peaceful. You will need a car or golf cart to get around the resort. Great stay.
The condos in this area are all the same, differentiated by how well they are maintained and furnished. This unit is very nice and well appointed and was quite clean when we arrived. For us the drawback is that it is far from the boatyard, where we had to go each day, so we needed to rent a golf cart.
