Beautifullly updated home so close to campus you can hear the crowds roar and the cowbells ring. Park your golf cart in the oversize carport and ride it to the games. Cook a steak for dinner on the oversized deck. The kitchen is fully loaded in this 1600-1700 sq.ft. home. Fenced backyard.
This house was perfect for our family during our sonâs graduation from MSU! The kitchen and large outdoor deck had everything we needed to host a family cookout. Jo Ellen was awesome at communicating with us. She even helped us find a baker to make a cake for our son. Would not hesitate to stay here again!
We had a great stay here for MSU Spring graduation. Beautiful house in a great location with a well-stocked kitchen. The host was excellent, even adjusting our reservation a few times back and forth as the dates changed -- incredibly helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Location, property, cleanliness, listing accuracy and amenities were great. Were thankful for the coffee station (oddly, the coffee maker stopped working during second morning). Host was very communicative.
Our family group of 7 people had a great stay in this updated, comfortable home! The 3 bedrooms with queen beds was great but one of the bedrooms also has a daybed with a trundle underneath, so it was perfect for children or teenagers. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to stay in to cook before the game. A nice deck with both a charcoal and gas grill and backyard for tossing around a football. Private neighborhood and great location! Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Will for sure be staying here again!
We've affectionately renamed this house the Grad House because it was the perfect spot to celebrate our grad! JoEllen was AMAZING! SO accommodating! We had family friends in and out for 2 days and it was plenty of space. We enjoyed the large deck and private backyard too. If you need a spot for any State sports activity or celebration book this house. Bonus.... Super close to everything!
Stayed for the week to celebrate Thanksgiving with our daughter and her friend and attend the Egg Bowl with our tailgate group.
The house was perfect!!
Check in was a breeze. The kitchen was amazing for cooking Thanksgiving (twice)! Well equipped and big enough to have a few cooks at work! With a nice dining table and living room, we had plenty of "hang out" space. The back deck and yard were also nice, although we did not take full advantage.
Location was perfect for quick access to the district and the stadium.
10 out of 10 - would recommend!
Large family group- mom, dad, son
Plus grandparents plus aunt and uncle
We loved the clean, super super (yes super) well equipped LARGE kitchen.
The den worked well- I thought it may be too small and it wasnât. The back deck was wonderful- my mother in law loved getting up early and having her coffee on the deck. It was a short drive to campus. We could hear things from campus if on the front lawn⊠once inside, canât hear campus parties. We felt safe! The place was decorated so lovely with some legitimate antiques and pictures telling about the history of the home renovation. The owners were chill and so easy to communicate with - just felt perfect! Oh I slept great!! Yes, definitely recommend this one
This house was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for MSU football. Itâs a short walk, or even shorter drive, to the stadium and to University Avenue. The house is nicely decorated, has a well-equipped kitchen, fenced yard and comfortable beds. Everything we needed.
Wonderful houseâŠvery clean and cozy. Will definitely stay again. We had an issue with travel timing due to a Hurricane on the East coast, and the host was very accommodating.
Perfect game day house. Clean, decorated cute and close to Campus. Great back porch. Comfortable beds. Great towels. Plenty of dishes. Comfortable. Will be back for sure.
Our family enjoyed a great stay together to celebrate our daughters MS State graduation. The pictures didn't show highly enough the really nice home and everybody was excited to enjoy the deck and kitchen while we cooked and celebrated together! We were only 5 minutes from MSU and the cotton district so it was perfect for us!
The property was as described. It was clean, well-cared for, and well-stocked. We didn't have the chance to, but it would have been a great place to entertain before or after a football or baseball game. It was the perfect place for a baseball weekend in Starkville. We will definitely stay there again!
This house was perfect for my family trip to Starkville! The 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths were the perfect amount of space. They did an excellent job the remodel. Canât say enough great things about this place!
My brother and I were born and raised in Starkville from a "blue collar" family. Our dad was a policeman and was appointed Chief of Police and our mom worked for the telephone company. Needless to say we knew just about everyone in town and have many friends still living in Starkville. We are both retired now living in the Jackson metro area. My brother, a successful business owner. I was a successful real estate agent. With both parents having passed away we wanted a place to come back home to. We bought this home a couple of years ago and completed gutted it except for 2 bedrooms. Like most building projects this one took longer than expected and we ran into problems that took us completely by surpise. But we are so happy with the results.
Besides being close to campus it is a comfortable older updated home with large living spaces. The kitchen is more than spacious and furnished with all the cooking and baking equipment needed to prepare and serve any meal. The large deck allows for spillover gathering or a sit down meal.
