Beautifully renovated 1928 stucco home in the heart of Midtown. Large rooms with high ceilings updated with industrial fixtures and a kitchen featuring granite countertops, farmhouse sink and stainless steel appliances.
We will definitely come back if we ever are in Augusta. Beds are firm but very comfortable. Everything's very spacious. And the shower has great pressure. Highly recommend the place.
When we arrived we were a little unnerved with the neighborhood. Really old unkept houses around. The yard of this property was very unkept and the yard and bushes had not been touched this year. Once we got inside, things were clean and organized. You could tell it had been recently updated. The beds slept great. Our third night, we woke up to 2 people arguing at each other on the other side of the bedroom wall. We thought this was a single family home, but to our surprise there was a room that must of been rented out that was attached to the back of the house. There was no visible entry to the street. Homeowner should have warned us.John, the owner was very nice and accommodating to our needs and requests. My wife thought there should be better lighting in the bathroom.Other than a few surprises our stay was great.
The property is nice and comfortable. Its an older southern home which has been updated and done well. The beds were comfy and the place overall felt very clean. The kitchen was nice and had a few at home amenities that were nice to have but not expected. The description on the site is very accurate and true. The host was very responsive to all questions and concerns both prior to booking and during the stay. The one thing I would say that would make this place even better than it already is would be the parking situation. Parking is on a very quite side street, but it seems that is the norm for the city as most homes in the area I noticed parking was on the street. If you are uneasy about street parking this might be something you consider. The street parking isn't bad as the traffic if any is very minimal. Overall I'd recommend this place as a quite safe place to stay in the Augusta area.
