Renovated, modern Chatham beach house with lots of cozy charm

This charming beach house has just been gut renovated and decorated with a modern but cozy, beachy feel. The house is located a short .25 miles from Pleasant Beach. A short walk or bike ride away. Pleasant is one of the few free beaches in Chatham so no permit needed and no daily charge. The neighboring Forrest Beach is also a free beach. Also a short bike or car ride from Red River Beach, which is a large, beautiful beach with life guards, concessions and bathrooms. The house is also within walking distance to two restaurants. Pisces is one of the best restaurants in Chatham, as well as Drifters which is a great, casual family option. 10 minutes to Chatham village and 5 minutes to downtown Harwichport village. The house features four bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are ensuite with their own bathrooms and the other guest bedroom and loft bedroom share the other large bathroom. The house features a very large living, bright living room, dining room and beautiful new kitchen with high end appliances. There is also a lovely screened in porch with a dining table and living furniture for relaxing, as well as outdoor patio area with a dining table & grill.

Perfect location that was conveniently located for my son’s wedding that took place in the area. The house was well maintained, modern style w plenty of space for a family to spread out.

We were 4 female college friends in our 70s. We found the house well-designed to suit our needs, which included sightseeing by day and playing cards at night. The kitchen was adequate for the little bit of cooking we did. The queen beds were very comfortable, but the twin and king were a bit soft. The bathrooms were great! We wanted to enjoy the sun porch more, but as the weather became cooler, the permanent screen panels made that difficult. The location of the house was perfect - pretty and quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach.

The charming home was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze! We didn't spend a lot of time there since we were out exploring. The house was good for 6 adults; if there were more of us it would have felt very cozy. While the aesthetic of the home was lovely, the couches weren't super comfy due to the low backs. That didn't stop us from watching amovie and football, though. We loved eating in the screened in porch for breakfast. Overall, nice stay!Tips for travelers: bring your shower toiletries.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and check in was simple. We were provided with thorough instructions re how to operate things in the house. The house was well situated with a 15 minute walk to the beach, and great resaturants near by. It was a great base for touring around Cape Cod and to be honest we were sorry we did not have as much time as we would have liked to enjoy being in the house, and on the property. The ouside space was big, well proportioned and well kept. Easy quick communication with the owner. Suggest adding the side street as a marker to find the house if coming in after dark as not a lot of street lights. We all were very pleased with the property and the location.

Fabulous. The best rental we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need to actually make meals. Location is perfect. Owner was very responsive. We will return!!

The house is clean and neat. The renovations show nicely. My young adult kids, 3, enjoyed their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen and supplied cookery/utensils are good if you eat in a lot, which we did. Parking g for three vehicles works. We enjoyed a relaxing week with walks to the beach and shopping in Chatham. Very nice overall!

Perfect Vacation

Nice home in a great neighborhood. The house could have been stocked better with things like kitchen towels, baking sheets, kitchen utensils, etc. It was nice to have a few beach chairs and beach towels available. Thank you for a great stay!

Fall getaway

A lovely area of the cape and the house is nice and impeccably clean. However, the kitchen was not very well stocked. It lacked some basic cooking supplies and very few spices including no salt or sugar. There were no tissues and no backup toilet paper or paper towels. The master bathroom has almost no lighting. All in all, we did have a great time and enjoyed the sunporch.

Family Fall Trip

The host Mark was amazing to communicate with. The house is very charming and decorated so nice. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and essentials for cooking. It was a perfect for our family if 6. We would Definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect Long Weekend

We were looking for a place to stay in Chatham for a family birthday celebration, and we found the perfect place! The house is comfortable, spacious and close to town. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom! We will definitely be booking this home again.

Chatham Stay

The house was in a great location. Short walk to the beach and a nice restaurant Drifters. The house was nicely decorated and fully equipped. We had a few days of bad weather so we had no problem staying in and relaxing.

Simply Fantabulous

We had a fantabulous time staying at this property. It was my first time arranging a vrbo and I initially felt a bit apprehensive. But the owner Mark was communicative and responsive and it turned out to be quite an easy and straight forward process to check in and out. When we arrived, we immediately noticed that the place was very clean and pleasant and the property was accurately photographed and described on the website. The 6 of us were very comfortable. Nearly all the rooms (except one bedroom) were on a single level, which was great for my very elderly dad who uses a cane, and the layout was such that everyone had space to do some work away from the office, read a book or simply appreciate a bit of solo rest and relaxation. We also appreciated the spacious living room to socialize, chat or watch a movie and the long dining table to enjoy a nice supper together. There were comfy beds, plenty of towels, all the basics to clean/do laundry, and a well-stocked kitchen that included trays, pans and even pot holders! There was even a collection of board games and books. In short, the property had everything you could want or need for a great vacation.
