Perfect getaway stay for our birthday party on the river.
The Cookseyâs were kind enough to allow us to host a birthday party at their beautiful home on the Santa Fe river. The house was far more spacious than we anticipated. We kayaked, swam, star-gazed, caught fireflies, watched dozens of fish jumping out of the water, and even had a seafood boil. Mrs. Cookseyâs was also very responsive to any questions we had about the property. We couldnât have asked for a lovier stay and hope to book it again soon. Thank you!
Beautiful, clean house! WiFi doesnât work well but great location to visit many local springs. Owner was very communicative. Perfect end of summer trip.
We stayed at the property for a girlsâ weekend and a small baby shower/BBQ. The property was perfect, and we had a wonderful time swimming in the river, playing corn hike on the bank, and sitting around the fire pit. Weâll come again and bring our paddle boards for a weekend of paddling next time!
This was an outstanding property we loved every minute of it ,the beautiful river views the decks and fire pits the house was spotless and had all the essential things you need it was amazing we will be back soon .The property owner was was great .
amazing experience making memories with loved ones. this place is awesome, spacious, big yard. boat ramp access. couldnt have enjoyed our stay any more.
It was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place on the river. If you wanted to, you could float from Ginnie Springs to the backyard. A great place for star gazing.
We spent a short weekend in the area for a wedding. This property was excellent for getting the rest I needed to keep up with the celebration. The kids enjoyed getting in the river. Would like to stay again sometime to enjoy the river and yard more.

Beautiful home in a quiet rural area on the river. I cannot say enough positive things. Everyone in the family loved it. Definitely will stay again.
Thanks for having us.
Wonderful property on a beautiful river! The house was fantastic for my wife and two kids. The best part was waking up and taking a walk with the many deer out front. Very quiet and away from any traffic or city noise!
We fell in love with this property. It was so much more than we expected.
Cool river to swim or just float in. Wildlife (deer) was seen almost every evening
Bruce and I have vacationed with our family for over 14 years and had always said, "we would buy a house here one day" Once Bruce retired from the City after 37 years we decided to start looking. We absolutely love coming to the river as often as possible and we have made so many memories with our 2 sons and countless friends and family that have joined us over the years while vacationing in the area. the first home we ever rented is located about 2 miles south of our home and goes to show you, dreams so come true.
We fell in love with the single story as we have elderly parents and the floors, when you get here you will see why. The craftmanship in this home is unbelievable.
This home was built in 1972 and it was completely renovated in 2012 when all that was kept was the fireplace. It is made with rocks from the area and is absolutely stunning. The wildlife in the area is a sight to be seen. They are able to live in their own environment and always remember they were here first. The fishing in this part of the river is the best in north Florida.
