Three buddies and I just stayed at this house and had a great time! House was very clean, in a nice neighborhood and welcoming. Convenient drive over to Whistling Straits golf course. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Nathan!
We all enjoyed our stay from the youngest to the oldest! We loved the close proximity to the beach on Lake Michigan, the uniqueness and details of the renovated home, the wonderful yard games and space, and walking in the peaceful neighborhood. The owners thought of everything including local recommendations, well-stocked kitchen, and quality toiletries.
Huge spotless fully renovated Victorian!! Furniture is very comfortable (including beds). Showers were great! We loved the large living room & large dining table! Kitchen was fully equipped. The backyard is beautiful and owners invite you to enjoy the home grown tomatoes and home roasted coffee! It is in a great neighborhood. Walking distance to beach. Lovely downtown area and close to the Kohler golf courses. We would definitely stay again! Don't miss this one!
Don't miss this one
We were in town for an event on Saturday that we helped to plan. I received clear instructions from Nate about how to access the house and we appreciated the cool drinks in the fridge. The house has been beautifully and tastefully remodeled with a kitchen that was well supplied with new appliances and plenty of cookware, utensils, etc. We enjoyed sitting outside iin the beautiful backyard for our meals and the fire pit was perfect for playing guitar and singiing one evening. Nate and Paul were very flexible and helped us to feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again.
Overall a very nice place, location, spacious.
The sleeping areas upstairs were difficult to get cool. The humid weather did not allow us to open windows and use fans or enjoy a "cooler by the lake" breeze.
The can opener is dull so we had trouble opening a few things.
Had trouble regulating the refrigerator temps and some veggies got frosted.
The oven seemed to cook slowly/uneven.
This was the 17th annual "SisterWeekend" for my sister and I. The house gave us lots of space to relax, drink champagne and talk, as well as being close to Lake Michigan for lots of walks.
It had obviously been carefully renovated, the kitchen was well-stocked, the linens were lovely.
I might issue a slight warning to anyone with mobility problems that the stairs might be a bit challenging - but even though we're both in our 70s, it was not a problem.
This house is large and well maintained. We had Friends from Germany with us and they were very impressed with this property.
The location was a good for our attendance at EAA, the beach on Lake Michigan and a trip into Milwaukee. We would definitely return to this property, should need to be in the area again.
Hosting: Primary Host for a gorgeous 1890s Victorian in the heart of Sheboygan. My wife and I teamed up with our dear friends Paul & Kristine, and Pete & Sandra, to purchase and restore this wonderful home. It now includes updated amenities while still retaining its Victorian charm. We now host it as a perfect space for families and friends to enjoy all that Sheboygan has to offer.
Renter: Engineer and Construction Company Executive. Married, no kids. We travel as much as possible. We enjoy hiking and kayaking and generally exploring and adventuring as much as possible. But are also very good at sitting on the porch and watching the waves. Like to rent bikes or walk everywhere when exploring cities. Always take public transportation if itâs available. Feel the need to be by the water.
