While situated in a quiet, mature neighborhood close to the university, shopping, dining, downtown hideaways, and great tourist attractions; it's also in walking distance of the seasonal Mardi Gras parade. The house comfortably sleeps 6 (2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a queen-size sofa-sleeper.) The intimate backyard features a pergola for relaxing and entertaining. A washer, dryer and other household amenities are provided.

Thanksgiving

Our 2nd stay at this house in 2023. Sadly disappointed in cleanliness throughout the place. Very dusty!!! plus we couldn’t even use the laundry as the washing machine had considerable amount of mold in it!!! It’s not a good fit for anyone, especially when allergies & copd are present

Close to Everything

This rental is right in the heart of Thibodaux and convenient to everything. It was a great escape to the hot Louisiana days. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Great location.

House was very clean. Neighbors were quiet & friendly. On a scale of 1 -10, I'd give this location a very strong 9! Will likely request stays here in the future when in the area.

The perfect rental

If you need to visit the town of Thibodaux and you are looking at hotels, please stop. You will not find anything locally that can top this rental home. It was insanely clean, incredibly conveniently located, amazingly quiet and private, and best of all, an absolute bargain. Excellent rental. Excellent owner. Could not have been happier.

Super clean 2/2 nestled in Thibodaux, LA. Well equipped, very comfortable, slept 4 of us with room left over and perfect for our NSU graduation celebration of 16 people. Highly recommend!

House itself great, cleanliness was a major issue

We came down from Tennessee to spend time with family. Their house is still under construction from 2021 Hurricanes, so we chose this house because of the space. The layout and square footage were wonderful!!! My brother in law and sister in law ended up staying the 2 nights in the extra room. Our first issues were with the door lock. Our code was not working and we kept setting off the alarm, however the owners were quick to respond and help us out. They also were able to accommodate us for a checkin at 12pm. Upon entering the home and exploring, we found that the back yard (fence or lackof) was misleading from the pictures, but not a big deal for us. After further exploring, we found that much of the floor had not been swept, all along the walls, bathrooms had hair in the floor/shower, edge of the couch and behind the recliner had food/hair. I mentioned this to the owner and they were responsive and apologetic and mentioned a new cleaning service. If I didn't have a 15 month old baby, I probably would have cared less, as we just swept it up ourselves. But the baby of course wants to put anything he finds in his mouth, so it was gross. We did not spend much time in the house during the day as we were out with other activities. We came back for my son's bed time typically (7pm). However, on our second night we got home a bit earlier and were just hanging out. As I straightened up the master bedroom, my son was playing. I looked up and saw that he HAD A RUSTY OLD POCKET KNIFE that he had found on the floor near the dresser in the master. This old knife was not even closed all the way. I was absolutely HORRIFIED AND PISSED! I take responsibility that I should have checked that house more thoroughly upon arrival, but I missed it in the middle of loose cords. When I brought this to the attention of the owners there was real trouble with the communication as one time the husband answered, the next time the wife. To the point that they thought we had checked out at 9pm at night (not the case). That was also confusing and frustrating. Overall the house was in a good location, spacious, had good beds, etc. But the cleanliness and safety are why I gave it a low score. I never in a million years expected my son to find a knife, wads of hair, or old food on the ground. That being said, I would give them another try, because I believe the owners are addressing the issues.

Clean and comfortable

Everything was really nice. The neighborhood is quite, beds comfortable (almost as comfortable as home), and roomy. Plenty of room for friends and family to come over after the parade to unwind and eat dinner. Easy access in and out and close to shopping. Convenient to activities either toward New Orleans or toward Lafayette.

This is the best property we've stayed in to date in this town. The property is stunning and well kept and gives the comfort of being home away from home. The owners are amazing, helpful, and responsive to all of our needs while staying here. We will definitely be booking again for our next visit!!

The property is exactly how it looks in picture. Very convenient and affordable. It is spacious and has a bit of an old time touch but clean. We did not utilize back yard as our stay was due to a funeral so we were in and out. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi is great!-

Cozy and Convenient

We were in Thibodaux to move my daughter into Nicholls State. The house was a great location for the many trips we made to the campus. It was clean and had all the necessities we needed for our stay. The owners were very responsive and even had a welcome gift for us. We would stay here again.
