Charming and newly-renovated 1850's house in quiet residential neighborhood
This 1850's house has an open-floor plan downstairs, with a dining area adjacent to the kitchen. It has access to a deck with gas grill and outdoor dining table. The upstairs has two bedrooms with 1 queen bed and 1 full bed, and a light and airy upstairs sitting area The downstairs has a 1/2 bath, and the upstairs has a full bath (shower only). This house was recently renovated.
We could not find a hotel for graduation and decided to try a rental instead. This was a great location and saved us a lot of money as compared to two hotel rooms. My favorite part was the deck at sunset.
This home is so beautiful and charming. A very safe, clean neighborhood, within walking distance of the lake, downtown/lakeside area and local attractions. The interior is absolutely lovely and very clean, with beautifulfurniture in the living areas and upstairs bedrooms. Very clear batrooms. All the amenities. A large backyatd deck as well. We would definitely stay thwre again.
Margaret is a wonderful host. The property is fabulous. Beautiful, comfortable and charming in every way.
I look forward to staying again when in the area!
The 1850 house is a perfect place to come home to! It is warm and cozy with everything you could possibly need. We had a great deal of snow fall. The neighbor was prompt to snow blow the driveway.
Booked this property for a fishing trip in the area. The rental was very clean and close various amenities. There were two of us and there was more than enough room. The host was responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend booking this property for anyone staying in the area as it was much nicer than the local hotels.
Canât say enough great things about this property. It was very nicely appointed, had an incredibly well stocked kitchen for cooking, wonderfully comfortable bedrooms and a relaxing living room. The host was great at communication and making sure we everything was ready for our arrival. Very much looking forward to staying again next year when weâre in the area!!
It was a nice, quaint location. Close to the local cafes and restaurants with a Stewartâs conveniently nearby. Quiet neighborhood and close to the Oswego campus, where we visited my daughter, and see a few historic sights in town. Very clean and host was very communicative and made sure all of our needs were met. Perfect for our family weekend visit!
This is an absolutely amazing home. Quiet neighborhood, clean and well stocked home. The property manager communicated very well with us. We will be back.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and well appointed. Having a washing machine and dryer was a welcomed plus. You can see the lake from the back deck and a few of the windows inside. From the deck you can watch beautiful sunsets. The location was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend it and I'll be back for sure.
Margaret's house in downtown Oswego was the perfect location for my husband and I to visit Fort Ontario (superb historic site) and to eat downtown at The Red Sun for dinner (amazing meal) and the Oswego Tea Company for breakfast. The house was clean, comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood. Check in was super easy due to the great communication with Margaret. If we are ever in Oswego again, we will definitely stay here.
The cozy cottage in the city was perfect! The home was well supplied and very clean. The layout of the home was cozy and very comfortable. We loved the back deck in the morning with a cup of coffee. Walks to West First street, The Fort, and parks were easy.
We will be back! We hope to make yearly to visit family.
