Positive Proximity

The VRBO rental was conveniently close to restaurants and convenient stores/gas stations. In addition, the interstate was right there which made for easier travel going in to Charleston. The rental was clean and Ebony was a great host who responded immediately and professionally to our questions

The price was right and it fit our needs for a weekend stay. It was in a pretty universal location, about 20-30 minutes to different beaches and downtown Charleston.

Convenient location

First impression pulling up is a little bit of a sketchy area. Neighbors were outside in the streets and made me feel uncomfortable but we didn't have any issues. Inside the home is an overwhelming smell of air freshener/fragrance. Home was cute and comfortable. Couch and Loveseat in the living room are both low to the ground and hard to get out of - especially someone with bad knees. Saw trash on the floor under the couch, so it made me wonder how clean the house really was. There was a tote of games/coloring sheets in the living room, but it was mainly just trash that needed to be sorted thru. We were able to find all the checker pieces and play a game of that. I placed the tokens in a Ziploc that will hopefully help the next players. My low score on the accuracy of online listing was due to it stating there was a foldable twin size bed for extra accommodations, but after we booked it, found out it was no longer in the rental. I was told "Walmart sells air mattresses for $10". Overall, decent place and great location (close to airport).

Wedding Week Stay

We stayed at the property for a wedding event. We were there for a little over a week. The host had great communication throughout our week. She was able to answer all of our questions. The home was near plenty of restaurants and shopping to give plenty to do in the down time. Very close to the airport and not far from downtown Charleston. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good centralized stay. Overall a fantastic experience.

Charleston tour

Arrived, did not have any communication with owner up to this point so didnt have code for door and then couldnt access my account to email host finally found the # for support who found code on hosts account. Lock difficult to use. Home is beautiful and homey and roomy. A lovely surprise after the awful room I stayed in the night before thyough a different company.

First time VRBO user

This was my first v r b o experience so I wasn't sure what to expect. The check in process was very easy. I had difficulty learning the electronic keypad but eventually got the hang of it. The pictures of the property are pretty accurate. Being so close to the freeway access was a plus however the downside was you could hear the freeway, the property is on A quiet street but it has a fairly busy side street. The air force aviation airport was behind the property a few blocks so we could hear airplanes throughout the day. Nothing during the night which was nice. The picture of the stairs do indicate that there are quite a few of them...what it doesn't show is how steep the stairs are. Being 55 I was able to go up & down the stairs without a problem. However my 76 year old mother had problems going up to the bedroom ..once she got up the stairs,she didn't go back down. Thank goodness there is a half bath on the main level. Also the 2 couches were low to the ground. Again, Not a problem for me but for my elderly mom it was difficult to get up and down off of the low couch. What was very nice is that there was a washer and dryer with laundry soap. So we were able to do up our laundry before we left the property. In my opinion this property would befine for a younger couple that needs a place for a night or two. With my experience it's not ideal for elderly people. I did enjoy the small backyard having a glass of wine in the evening and Coffee in the morning on the front porch.

Great first time Vrbo experience

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially with this being my first time using Vrbo. The property was well maintained, thought out, tasteful and comfortable. And it was the perfect location being close to the Goose Creek military base and downtown as well. Thank you Ms. Johnson for a great experience.

Family Trip

The property was clean and well furnished. I really appreciated the complimentary items and the attention the host gave us during our stay. She made sure we had everything we needed. There were pamphlets for suggested activities, an activity box for children, the place was very cozy. The outside lounge area was great! If I could make any suggestions, it would be to get a few plastic cups for small children.

The location was ideal. The furniture in the living room was not totally as pictured. The roll around mattress was missing 80% of it's covering. The hair dryer caught on fire. I did notify Ebony. We spent most of our time sightseeing. Great selection of restaurants. .

I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY and I now live sometimes in Charleston and sometimes in Atlanta. I love North Charleston and I love hosting people so I’m excited for your trip here! North Charleston has been called the Brooklyn of South Carolina because of its rapid growth and diversification in the past few years. If you have only lived in lily white neighborhoods, this place may not be your cup of tea but I wouldn't live anywhere else. We have an awesome bar and restaurant scene, historic downtown, and my houses are an easy hop and skip to it all. You'll really like it here and I look forward to providing a 5-star experience.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Although a few of my neighbors on the block don't keep their yards up as well as I keep mine, this is still a very safe area.

This is a corner townhouse with a beautiful yard. In the front of the home there is a welcoming front porch where you can sit out and soak up some of Charleston's beautiful weather. Upon entry, you are greeted by a well decorated living room and dining room, as well as a fully equipped kitchen on the downstairs level. You don't have to worry about cookware, dishes, silverware or cooking utensils. There is a half bathroom downstairs and a full laundry room right off the kitchen so you don’t have to travel back home with dirty laundry. Exiting the back door leads you to the private, fenced-in patio for you to relax morning, noon, and night. There's a grill and fire pit for you to use at your leisure.

Once you venture upstairs you'll find 2 large, beautifully decorated bedrooms and a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have very comfortable queen beds, desks for getting work done, and closets for your clothes in case you will be here a while. Flat screen TVs with Roku are in each of the rooms and WiFi flows throughout the home.

**Unfortunately, no pets can be hosted at this time**

This is a very clean and well kept home. I have a very thorough cleaning staff but I've been able to charge guests a minimal cleaning fee due to everyone leaving the home tidy when they depart. Thank you for your participation.
