Welcome to Barefoot Dreams! Our vacation home was completely renovated in early 2021. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from beaches, downtown, shopping, fishing, and golfing. Or if you like, stay at home and relax by the screen enclosed pool/patio. The backyard is fully fenced in.

INSIDE THE HOME
The home is decorated in neutral tones with coastal decor. It has new ceramic tile flooring, renovated bathrooms, new lighting/ceiling fans and beautiful new furnishings throughout the house. New HVAC system recently installed.

The newly renovated kitchen includes new cabinets, stainless steel appliances and many small kitchen appliances:

The Dining Room has seating for 6. The Coffee Bar has a beautiful wood table that includes a Keurig Coffee Maker, and a Keurig Milk Frother.

The Living Room has a beautiful new sectional sofa, a 65” Sony Bravia Smart TV and ceiling fan.

There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths.The Master Bedroom has a walk-in closet, king size bed, dresser, Samsung Smart TV and ceiling fan. The Master Bath has a tub/shower combination. The Guest Room is located on the other side of the house and has 2 XL Twin Beds, a dresser, a double closet, and ceiling fan.The other bathroom has a walk-in shower. Bath towels, hand towels and washcloths are in the bathroom linen closets. Extra blankets and pillows are located in the bedroom closets.

A large (36"x36") portable playpen/crib is located in the Master Bedroom closet, with sheets.

The Florida Room has a new sectional sofa, a 32” Samsung Smart TV and ceiling fan.

The Laundry is located in the garage, just off the kitchen. It includes a Maytag Top Loading Washing Machine and Maytag Dryer, as well as a utility sink.

For the beach goer, we provide 4 beach chairs, a beach wagon, a large beach umbrella, 3 coolers (S, M, L), beach bag, 9x10 beach blanket, 2 shark tooth rakes with sifter. We also provide 2 bicycles with helmets.

STEP OUTSIDE
The backyard is fully fenced in. The pool is 14' x 25'. The screened in lanai has a covered porch with a sofa. Around the pool is a patio dining table with umbrella, 2 lounge chairs with cushions, and a BBQ Grill (propane included). There’s plenty of beach towels and Turkish towels.

There are dog bowls in the hall closet. Please use the quilts in hall closet if your dog likes to chill out on the sofa.
A wonderful dog park, Brohard Paw Park, is located 4.3 miles away.

Clean, Convenient, Amazing Place!

We loved staying at Barefoot Dreams! The place was super clean, and very well thought out. Everything was there that we needed and it was very comfortable. Our kids loved taking the beach toys and shell sifters to the beach, and the umbrellas were very easy to set up. It was very close to everything Venice has to offer and an easy bike ride through the neighborhood to my in-laws house. The kids also really liked the pool lit up at night for an after dinner swim. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our trip to Venice!!

Perfect Getaway

The house is adorable and very clean. Quiet neighborhood, which was nice as well. Kids loved the pool, which was very clean and well maintained. It was also perfect for the beach, as it was close and perfectly stocked with all the essentials (wagon, beach towels, umbrella, shark teeth finding equipment etc). We very much enjoyed our vacation here - hosts were fantastic and communicative.

A Perfect Getaway

From the second we walked in, we knew we found a gem. This place is so much more than just a vacation rental—it felt like home.The layout was great and the kitchen was fully stocked. Everything we needed for the beach was there to use. Every little detail was clearly thought through, and it made a big difference.The outdoor space deserves its own shoutout. Loved It!

This house was the perfect stay for a beach getaway in Venice! The neighborhood was peaceful. Amazing Property!

They thought of everything. We use Vrbo a lot for vacations and this is the only time we didn’t need to buy a thing besides our grocery run down, especially on a beach vacation. The property has everything it says and then some. Location is perfect for hitting all the area beaches that we love.

A Gem!

Barefoot Dreams was the perfect setup for our family of four! The owners thought of everything you might need for your stay, down to the smallest detail! We felt so welcomed! We could hop in the car for about a ten minute drive to Venice Beach and enjoy the beach or hop in the pool when “at home”. We couldn’t have asked for a better space and experience for our relaxing week away!

A perfect find for a family

A wonderful property that is managed with the upmost care. The furnishings were in great condition, and the decorations and amenities were thoughtful. The packnplay was in excellent condition and the toys for toddlers was very appreciative. We greatly enjoyed our time outside in the pool and patio.

Better than we could have hoped for !

We thoroughly enjoyed a great 4 nights in this fun home!. Perfect for 2 couples...Spacious..great pool area to enjoy and lounge.. Easy to get to highways and restaurants. Just far enough out of down town to get in and out when needed. Kitchen was completely loaded..not missing anything. Very clean and neat. Will definitely return if in the area to visit friends.. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Everything that we needed was provided. The neighborhood was nice it was also located fairly close to shops and Venice Island. Overall it was a great experience and I strongly recommend Barefoot Dreams for your stay in Venice!

Wonderful, relaxing stay at Barefoot Dreams!

My husband, parents, and my dog and I had the perfect time in Venice at Barefoot Dreams. Gerry was so communicative. We had zero issues at the house. We felt right at home! The house has plenty of living space to spread out and is stocked better than my own home! It is close to everything you could need and a short drive to the beach. Most mornings we would take to dog the 5-minute drive to Shamrock park for a gorgeous walk along the Venetian Waterway. The kitchen was great for cooking ANY meal at home. They have everything! And the coffee bar was a really nice touch. The attention to detail here was incredibly thoughtful. And the beds were super comfortable. We highly recommend Barefoot Dreams and we hope to book again in the future!

Perfect House in Venice, FL

We stayed at Barefoot Dreams for a week and we wish we could have stayed longer. The house was perfect and had everything to make our stay feel like home. The hosts Gerry & Dennis were very nice and checked with us to make sure we were settled in or needed anything. The house was very close to the beach, restaurants, and downtown Venice. Renters dream

This house was perfect for a quick long weekend rental. Just having paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, k cups, dish soap etc etc available and not having to purchase was so convenient! The house is very close to everything and super convenient. Beds were very comfortable the house is impeccably clean and decorated adorably. We had a great weekend away and the 85 degrees all weekend was a bonus. Ty to Gerry & her husband for the use of their beautiful home ❀

Beautiful Home in Venice Florida

Without a doubt the nicest place we have stayed in the gulf coast area. Home was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, great beds, spotless bathrooms, family room and Florida room were pleasant to lounge in. The pool in the backyard is new and clean and very refreshing. Very close to Venice beach and just 25 minutes or so to Crescent Beach in Siesta Key. We went to both beaches multiple times. Garage was very clean, great washer and dryer, and new beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach cart, and clean beach coolers. Even had 4 different size fishing rods on wall! Neighborhood was quiet, safe and the neighbors were friendly too. One lady stopped to chat and she was very welcoming. Venice was a great town to visit as well. We happened to be there for the Sun Festival and the locals were all there and they were friendly! Again, we had a great week and we will definitely come back to this home if it's available next time we come to the Venice FL area!

Loved the house. It was very comfortable and well supplied and thought out. Gerry was very easy to work with. Great line of communications. We rented the house for about a week while waiting for our house to close. It was a nice retreat between all the chaos. Highly recommend and dog friendly. đŸŸ

Enjoyed our visit! House was beautiful inside, clean and was supplied with everything you could possible need! Easy drive to everything we wanted to do! And hosts answered any questions we had promptly!
