Everything was really perfect. The property was very clean, nicely decorated, and ready to enjoy. It was very conveniently located for us and we had a very enjoyable stay!
We enjoyed our stay and house was nice. Just we would have had nicer weather. Plan to come again sometime later spring or early summer for better weather!
Every inch of this home says quality. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Weâre from Florida, so weâre not accustomed to hills and steep terrain, so the only thing that was a challenge for us was the steps to the entrance of the home. The views and quality of the home are top notch.
Home with lake access and everything we needed in the kitchen to eat in. Also very close to Old Kinderhook which was convenient for us. Check in was smooth and directions clear from owner/property manager. My 75 year old mother enjoyed time with her family as we celebrated her the entire weekend. Only concern is for the cleaning crew. The floors need to be mopped after every guest stay. Also suggest screen doors to help keeps pesty lake bugs from entering. All in all, a great weekend.
We had a good time as a family. The overall look of things and decorations from a distance were nice, but lots of things seemed like they were falling apart. The couch, banister, side table especially. The sink in the kitchen leaked across the island when used. The lights in the kitchen flickered none stop. There were lots of bugs inside the ceiling light fixtures in all the bedrooms. The tiles in the master bathroom were cracked and falling apart and the toilet wasnât anchored to the floor. The beds in the bunk bed room did not have mattress covers on them. A few beds were missing a top sheet. This place had a lot of good reviews, so it was very disappointing to find it this way.
Property was just as represented - spacious, clean, large deck with easy access to the dock. It was very relaxing sitting on the deck catching the breeze and watching the boats go by. A short drive to the golf course was exactly what we wanted when booking this property. A few steps down (7 I think) from the parking to front door was a little problematic for my 93 year old mom but not a problem for the rest of us. We had one minor issue with the TV which Jonathan promptly solved. The only issue was wifi was very weak and intermittent and could not keep the TV connected. That was a little disappointing when trying to watch game 7 of NBA Semi-finals. Also, the toilet paper was the cheapest grade possible. Not a show stopper but worth noting. Overall, I still gave the property 5 stars but would have gave 4.8 if that was an option.
Our adult children, grandson and brother spent five nights at this Camdenton property and found the lake views stunning, accommodations beautiful, and neighbors kind. Our beds were comfortable and each family conveniently used their own restroom. We shopped at a nearby Walmart (10 minutes away), found the kitchen to be reasonably stocked and enjoyed several family style meals together. We grilled a couple of time and there was more than enough living space for our crew! We started our day with coffee on the deck, and finished around the fire pit roasting marshmallows (we bought firewood and chairs), both overlooking the lake. We even found time to play a board game and complete a puzzle, both on site. We visited nearby Bridal Cave, Ha Ha Tonka State Park and booked a Celebration Cruise to view fireworks from the water on July 4th. Jonathan was incredibly helpful prior to and during our stay. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and tied off our 18â boat on site some of the time, but avoided during high boat traffic times due to big waves and very choppy water. We used the boat ramp at Larry R Gale (15 mins away). We parked two SUVs and truck with boat trailer, but parking was tight and the driveway is steep. There are several steps down to the property, and well as to the lake to consider. We experienced a small glitch because the cleaning wasnât complete when we arrived (4pm) which delayed our check in process. Overall, we had a fabulous time and would recommend. Thank you!
Nice property. Plenty of space and good views from the deck. Check-in process was super easy, and clear instructions for check-out. Good communication. Would stay again for sure.
