Welcome to this centrally located apartment in North Oakland with access to everything the Bay Area has to offer. You will enjoy the homely feel of this newly renovate space that can be perfect for a weekend getaway or a work trip of any length. With a fully equipped kitchen, large HDTV, dedicated workspace, washer and dryer and an ensuite full-bedroom this place has it all. This could be the home base for you extended Bay Area trip and is located just minutes from downtown SF. Every aspect of the design and curation of this vacation rental was done with the mindset of creating a memorable and comfortable stay for our guest. We approached it like we would be staying in it and we hope you enjoy!

Clean, comfortable...great place to stay

The unit is fully equiped and is a very comfortable place to stay. It is obvious the owners take pride in their house, the unit and the city. They are very responsive and friendly. Neighborhood is safe and conveniently located. Parking is easy. Recommend to anyone coming to the bay area.

Great Holiday Stay!

Our stay was pleasant and perfect. Enough space for the two of us and our pup. Plenty of room for more as well. Quiet, convenient, and cozy. All the amenities that you need to get up and get going in this morning for this very modern mother-in-law unit.

Comfortable North Oakland Apartment

Clean and recently renovated, this bright and cheery basement apartment is conveniently located near the the intersection of Oakland, Berkeley and Emeryville, and a short drive or Bart ride across the bay to San Francisco. There is a great biking and walking trail a few blocks away, with many good restaurants, parks and bars nearby. Remote check-in worked well, and Host Akeel responded promptly to all our communications. My wife and i enjoyed our 8 day stay in this charming property. We would definitely book again the next time we are in the area.

Perfect location

I travel frequently and book through VRBO as often as I can. This is one of the nicest places I've stayed. It's comfortable, spacious and very clean. I'm traveling to Oakland/Berkeley 3 more times in the next 2 months and I'm so disappointed this place is already booked. If you're in the area, stay here!

Great for a small family

We stayed for two nights, the property was very neat, clean, and quiet. I heard people walking upstairs a couple times, but it was only during the middle of the day. The bed is firm, which isn't my favorite, but the sheets were so soft and comfortable. They also had a pack and play available which came in really handy. I loved the minimal decorations, it made toddler proofing easy. It got a little warm down there, but there was a fan available and we kept the windows open all night without any problems. The street parking got a bit tight, but we found a spot on the same block the whole trip. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The check out process was the easiest I have ever encountered, and the hosts were very friendly in the two email interactions I had with them.

Clean and nice

Everything about this place is exactly as was presented online, my only comment is that with it being attached to the main house you can hear a main house TV through the living room wall. Not a problem unless you are planning on using the living room as a second sleeping area.

Spring Break

We brought our 17 year old son and his best friend to the area for spring break to visit our daughter who goes to school at UC Berkeley. Perfect location, quiet, great little neighborhood and the apartment was cozy, modern, and clean. Teens slept on mattresses in the living room and we had the bedroom - lots of room to have your own space. Having a full kitchen plus washer and dryer made it easy to feed hungry teen boys and clean up dirty laundry from hiking or exercising. We’d gladly rent this apartment again on our next visit.

Perfect Place

Very nice home very nice people great place to stay I love everything about this place very clean leave you a welcoming basket with a card with your name on it if I ever look for a place to stay again this will definitely be the place I go to. 30th birthday

Akeel was wonderful to communicate with, great property to host my husband’s 30th birthday with a few friends and our dog. Less than 30 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to SF! Very spacious and bright.

Getaway

Property owners knew we were having my family over for dinner and set up a table for us. Had some pods for coffee which was nice but no paper towels, foil, etc. I think they have a room in the basement of their house that shares a wall with the rental. TV set was on very loud. All in all a nice rental for two people, nice family oriented neighborhood and the rental was very clean.

Perfect one bedroom apartment.

Stayed here while having construction done on our Oakland home. It was perfect! My daughter loved visiting the chickens and I loved the location of the modern apartment. We utilized all aspects of the apartment. From the washer and dryer to the extra air mattress. The owners were very kind and even showed us how to feed the chickens, if we wished to do so. The ease of staying here was perfect and we will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend this rental.
