Very unique place to stay, located at the highest level of a small older Spanish development (8 Casa's), that has lots of mature trees and plants, and has a nice view of the ocean as well as the city lights from the upper terrace.
Our stay here was very nice. The place itself looks better in person. Very comfortable beds. Everything you need including board games can be found here. The only thing I would change is the double beds. I would move those upstairs so that the kids are not sleeping alone downstairs.
Amazing views, great location, easy access/taxi services to many locations.
We loved the pool and outdoor area. The grocery service was so convenient and the chef dinner was delicious!
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Perla. It was the perfect escape for our family. We appreciated the spacious rooms, ocean views, and lush tropical surroundings. We would definitely stay here again. The concierge service was an added bonus. Alexa, was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed, from local recommendations, groceries, chef and massages to seamless check-in and check-out. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat with friends and family, this villa is a dream come true.
My spouse and I, our daughter, her husband and infant all enjoyed a relaxing week at this spacious, comfortable, and charming house, just off the main drag but very private, and with excellent cooking facilities. Lots of beach towels provided.
Roof leaks. Son slipped and fell because of random puddle do to roof leak above base of stairs. The beam there is all moldy so the upstairs has an over welding musty moldy smell. We did not have have running water for almost 25 hrs do to an electrical failure. There are resident Coatimundis at the property. Cool to see, but a forewarning would have kept them from coming in the house and eating our food. The stairway up to the house needs pressure washing and plant cut back. Super slippery in the rain. The master bath had a septic issue. The management company was great and very responsive and helpful. They addressed water issue and septic issue. The biew was good. Was surprised to see itâs backed up to a major resort. All and all itâs a decent place, it just needs some maintenance work to make it better.
The house is gorgeous, without being fussy. We cooked in the kitchen thanks to the delivered groceries. We didn't have a car so we got Ubers into town, no problem. The beach is like a 15 minute stroll away, this walk on the side of the road would be less ideal for older folks and less mobile people, just FYI. House was clean, it's not buggy, but the beautiful coati do come to visit! Very very safe feeling, and the views are lovely. Nice family house!
House was fine if you need nothing but a place to stay. Almost no communication with the host. Acted as if I wasn't supposed to contact them for basic information like the gate code or wifi password. Did not even receive check-in or check-out instructions. Lots of bugs and lizards inside due to how the house is constructed, big gaps on the doors and windows. Location is a little inconvenient if you're wanting to go in town. Only had an email address to contact the concierge who they acted like was supposed to take care of everything which is confusing because the service was presented like an optional addition, not who I should ask for the door code. A little too much of a "figure it out yourself" vibe for me personally.
Casa Perla is a 3bedroom 3 ensuite traditional Mexican villa. Perched high on top the hill in a gated community. It has a wonderful heated swimming pool and outdoor eating area. We had maid and pool service twice a week. Our concierge and property manager were quick to take care of any concerns we had. Keith the owner was a pleasure to deal with and quick to respond. If your are a person who loves nature ...this is the place for you.
